Great price on this 3D collector's edition. I'm an addict for GOOD 3D not just some film that feels its need to be released in 3D because everything else is. For my $ animation tends to deliver the best 3D. They contain great depth and color. Animation doesn't adhere to what I call cole slaw editing---fast, choppy, difficult to discern what's actually happening. Coraline is a fun little bit of fantasy from the Nightmare before Christmas team that doesn't disappoint.

I'm always looking to make my own indie horror discoveries and BITE is a fun, Canadian offer full of great practical effects and top notch production design. Disgusting in its own right and really different in its presentation of found footage for the 1st act and polished anamorphic widescreen goodness. The tagline doesn't sell the movie well. The slipcover says: YOUR FEAR IS HER APPETITE. Meh...if they consulted me, this movie would fly off the shelves with: IT'S JUST A LITTLE BUG BITE.

The answer to my summary question is: YES! And he's injecting dead pets and people with the glowing juice from a dozen glow sticks to create this 1 of a kind zombie movie. I saw this movie when I was 12 at our local grindhouse theatre and it left an impression on me. Best buy had this gem hidden on the $5 rack. $5 FOR A CLASSIC ON BLU RAY?!? Heard Tribe was dropping a new album and my ears perked. Saw Tribe on SNL performing 2 new songs from the upcoming album featuring Phife (R.I.P.) & an effective Jarobi--who only appeared as hype man on Tribe's previous efforts. Needless to say, Tribe brings the pain: dope production, social message (an element missing in "rap" not hip hop music) & minimal guest appearances. My only complaint is the lack of DJ/co-producer Ali who isn't featured anywhere in the credits. Maybe professional and/or differences haven't been ironed out. All in all, this is a dope effort from a bunch of 40 plus pioneers.

I've been a Soderbergh fan since the 90s. His material is always thought provoking, mature and intelligent. Minus Clive Owen, I wasn't aware of the other actors work. I like it that way. I can usually go in on a project without any bias. I don't have cable so this dvd is the only way for me to see this great show.

What's not to say about West Side Story? It's absolutely flawless. I've been buying a few classic titles here & there on Blu-ray and I must say that the technicians behind these releases really know how to maintain the overall integrity of old Hollywood films transfered to today's format. The colors are very rich. The DTS HD master sound is staggering. The extra features are informative and add value to this release. I couldn't beat the price ($7.99) for a chance to own a piece of Hollywood history.

I knew nothing about this title prior to purchasing. I liked the cast and that it was in 3D. I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to what I know will be good in 3D. Everest did not disappoint. Real locations mixed with highly believable visual effects. This based on actual events film will place you high upon the earth on Everest, the highest mountain on our planet.
