Excellent for small spaces

I picked this up as a gift for a college student that didn't have any room for a big screen TV. The fact that it has a built in DVD player has made this an awesome product for the student. The unit does triple duty as a television, DVD player, and secondary monitor for the laptop.
If you have a small space requirement, then you can't go wrong with this, especially if you can find it on sale!

Pretty good for the price

I got a couple of these on sale to accompany a couple of gifts. They get the job done, but would only rate 2 stars at regular price. They are fairly cheap construction and only time will tell if they will hold up to usage.

This stylus is getting 4 stars because it does what it is supposed to, and was the cheapest thing going when I needed a few to go with some gifts I had purchased. It is, however, pretty cheap, not the best quality. It gets the job done, but we will see how long it lasts. If I had not gotten it on sale, I would only rate it at 2 stars.

Good Case but overpriced

If you are willing to pay the premium price for an Apple iPhone, then you very likely won't mind overpaying to purchase a solid case to protect it. That said, you can't go wrong with the Otterbox. They have made a reputation by producing a very good protective case for almost any phone. We bought it because the local Best Buy was out of stock on most of the competing products we were considering. If we had been willing to wait, we could have purchased it (or a competing product) on Amazon for a bit less. That said, we have been generally happy with it so far, the only exceptions are listed below.
There are two drawbacks. For starters, Otterbox charges a premium price for their products. There are many other phone cases for substantially less than the price of the Otterbox. The other problem is that they seal the phone so well that it will hold in excess heat and cause the phone to occasionally overheat, which has happened a couple of times (actually twice, so far) on HOT days (80+ degrees) while using the phone heavily (Navigation and constantly streaming music).
If not for the price and heat dissipation issues, this would rate 5 stars.

how long does it last by using it for like movies or surfing the web? how hot does it get and are the fans loud? can i put a skins on the glass back or no? please answer these 3 questions
It's horrible, I only get about 3.5 hours out of it, no matter if I'm watching movies or simply browsing the web. It does not get hot, and the fans are super quiet. I don't know if skins will work with the glass back or not, but I don't see any reason that they should not work.

How is this laptop with photo editing software? Specifically Lightroom 6 and Photoshop elements/premier.
I can't speak to either of those software packages, but I can say that Luminar does not seem to run any quicker on this system than it does on my Core i5 Surface Pro 4 with 4GB ram. I would not expect too much out of performance on this system. One other issue, if you need to copy photos onto this laptop from an SD card, you will need an external reader for it too.

VCR RECORDER PLAYER
Can I use my VCR recorder player on this machine?
Yes, you can hook up a VCR to this TV, although I don't remember if it took an adapter to make it work or not. Unfortunately, both the TV and the VCR have gone away to college, and won't be coming home for the summer, so I can't even check it to see.
