I’ve been through 5-6 basic Xbox one headsets and it was time to look for something new. I’m not a fan of “DJ” headsets so I figured I’d give these a try. First thing I noticed is that you have to adjust the volume manually through the Xbox conolse audio settings. Once I did that, the sound was loud & clear. They may be a bit uncomfortable after having them on for a while.... eventually you’ll get used to them. Personally, I’ll never buy the regular Xbox headset again.

This laptop was bigger/heavier than i expected (not necessarily a bad thing). At first the mouse would freeze as i'd scroll every few min....but after the system updates that doesn't happen anymore. Touch screen works nicely.
I'm coming from an 8 year old laptop..... The i5 is perfect for me. No complaints here...especially for the Black Friday price!!

Like many of you i grew up on Halo Lan Parties, 4 players per screen. Sure they have their reasons for not having split screen but i feel for the younger kids with siblings. It's sort of annoying that they'd have to switch off instead of playing together. Sure it says one player behind the box but Halo has ALWAYS been about split screen. Now we have to bring our TV's and xbox's for our Halo Lan parties.
Other than that it's a great game. Some of these halo punks (i mean players) are just too good at times. I feel like throwing my controller at the screen.

Do I need an Xbox adapter to plug it into my Xbox one controller?
As long as your controller has an audio jack port on the bottom of the controller you won’t need an adapter. If the sound isn’t loud enough initially after plugging in your headset you can adjust it in the Xbox console settings: ‘devices & accessories’ —> ‘more options’ —-> ‘volume’
Once you’re happy with the volume you’ll still be able to adjust it from the headset control itself.
