Best 4K Streaming Player So Far

I bought the Roku 4 because I replaced my TV to a new 4K model. I have to admit, I didn't see much of a difference. This is because 4K content at the moment is very slim. You can get some 4K resolution content from Amazon or Netflix, otherwise everything else displays at the current 1080P standard. The interface is very quick compared to the other Roku models. One of my concerns is the size of the unit. It's about the size of a small dinner plate, a drastic difference from the hockey puck size of the other models. Also, some of the apps/functions that the Roku can do I can already do with just the TV (i.e. Netflix). So it's something to look at when pairing a Roku 4 with a 4K set.

Almost Perfect PS4 Remote

I bought the PDP remote because so far it's the only remote fully compatible with the PS4. I was hesitant because I don't usually buy "aftermarket" products. It's been my experience that they don't usually work the way I want, or start to fail sooner than "original" products. However, this remote works surprisingly well. It's designed to match the PS4 and feels well built. I can honestly say it seems very similar to the Sony Remote for the PS3. One complaint though is that it can't control my cable box. It's not the remote's fault, it's more my cable providers' brand of box (Technicolor, I think). If it only could control my cable box, it would be the perfect universal remote.

I bought this phone as a spare. The price at the time (Black Friday), coupled with being unlocked made it a bargain. A few gripes about the phone; one being it seems slower than my other phone. I have to remind myself this is a mid-range phone, so I shouldn't expect the performance to be than of my higher-end phone. The second (and this is a deal-breaker), this phone had NO LTE. Again, I have to remind myself this isn't my regular high end phone, it's a "spare". I think with a software update, the slow performance might be fixed (Motorola has said it will send out the Android 6.0 update soon). Potential buyers looking for a spare phone as I was, please remember that this model DOES NOT have LTE. If you need an unlocked phone at a reasonable price, be sure to look at the 3rd generation Moto G, as that model does have LTE, as well as slightly higher specifications.

I bought this laptop for my daughter because she needed something for school. It's small and "cute" (according to her). Please be aware, this is a very limiting laptop. High points for portability, however, if your looking for something more powerful, look elsewhere. Atom processor, 2GB, and 32GB SSD, this is a tablet dressed as a laptop. If your OK with that, than build and price aren't so bad.

Great Bluetooth keyboard for the price

I was skeptical about this keyboard. It's about $30 and similar keyboards are about double the price. Long story short, this keyboard is a VERY good buy. Being a "universal" Bluetooth keyboard, it offers options not found in cheaper competitors. 1) It works very well with Apple products. I've tried cheaper keyboards with my Apple MacMini, and options like volume control are often missing. That's not the case with this product, as it acts very similar (if not exactly) as the Apple Bluetooth keyboard which retails for double the price. 2) It has the ability to work with more than one device. 3 to be exact. I can use it with my MacMini and seamlessly transition to my iPad. All the functions remain in tact. As a bonus, i've also use it with my Android phone, in which I have the ability to use the built in "soft buttons" such as the Home key on the keyboard. It's a very good and cheaper alternative to the official Apple products and a step above similar products because of it's flexibility. I highly recommend.

As an Apple device, I have some high expectations. Unfortunately, this model of the AppleTV (there is a newer, high priced model) falls short of some of it's competitors. 1) It cannot stream from a UPnP Networked Hard Drive. I have a Netgear router with a hard drive attached. It contains all my pictures, movies and music in which the AppleTV cannot access. Cheaper competitors such as the Roku Stick or Chromecast (both of which I also have) have this ability. Why doesn't this AppleTV have this ability is seriously hurting what could be a well-built device. 2) This version of the AppleTV cannot have apps installed (however, the newer version can). Less known apps such as "Plex" which have the ability to stream content from network devices, would have solved my first gripe about this device. If you have mostly Apple devices, the AppleTV is an OK addition if you want seamless integration with "everything". However, the Roku, Chromecast and similar products seem to offer more and I would recommend those over this version of the AppleTV.

Simple Apple Brand Router

The airport express is everything it's bigger siblings do. Dual band wifi, ipv6, printer sharing, ect. What it doesn't do is have additional ports for wired connectivity and hard drive sharing. In essence, it's just an "add-on" anntenna to your ISP modem. If your home is primarily wifi based and/or mobile only products, this would be ok. If your expectation is a small home-office or gaming setup, this would not be enough. Although elegant and simple as most apple products are, it's just missing something. As a primary router, it would fail because lack of ports. As a media server, you are unable to connect a hard drive (why is that??) If you want an additional antennae for weak wifi spots, this would be great. Just don't make it your primary router.

Good for Low - Medium Applications

I bought the Logitech Stereo set to enhance my TV/Monitor sound. I must admit that I was mildly impressed at the increase in fidelity and bass compared to the standard TV speakers. I simply plugged the headphone connector into the TV's headphone output jack. Normally you would connect this to a PC's audio card, but I have other components connected to the TV/Monitor that it seemed like a waste if I didn't take advantage of the option. To my surprise, things worked out as I hoped.
My only qualm is that the speakers could have more options for connectivity, such as an optical jack or Audio inputs (Red and White Connectors). I suppose the higher models may have these, though I haven't checked. In contrast, the speakers have a small "box" for independent volume control, and provide a headphone output if you would like to use headphones which are great when my Son wants to play with his Video Game console without disturbing the rest of the household.
I suppose for the price, you get what you pay for. A word of warning; do your research before you buy in regards to connectivity. Otherwise, it worked out for the purposes we intended.

Best PS4 Game So Far

I had high expectations for this game. With the selection for PS4 game still in it's infancy, finding a good game (at least one that's not already on a previous generation system i.e PS3, XBX360) is difficult. There are those games where there is a minimal difference between the different platforms such as COD:Ghosts and AC:Black Flag. You'll find yourself considering the price difference, with next generations games sometimes $10 more than it's previous generation counterparts.
Infamous: Second Son breaks the rules. The graphics are mind-blowing! I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Infamous: SS showcases the graphic power of the PS4. It's one of those games where "you can tell" it's next generation. Other games just feel like an upgraded port. The controls are solid, though the motion control for the spray painting feels a little gimmicky. The story, seems a little...slow? The side quests seem distracting rather than productive, and I'm still trying to figure out the connection between this game and the previous Infamous games. Maybe the story is just a little deep for my taste?
Other than my personal qualms, VERY VERY VERY good game. Perhaps the best PS4 game (so far). I'm hoping other PS4 games are of this caliber, which would justify a price hike, if that would be the deciding factor. Otherwise, I would of bought this game for the PS3 (if it were available) and save $10+ dollars. In short, THIS GAME IS WORTH IT.

I love the Metal Gear Series. It's like being in a 007 movie action scene. The graphics are top notch, and the storyline is intriguing. BUT, the game is short. About 7 hours in length. Given other games of similar caliber, this should be easily 10-20. Perhaps it's because it's a prequel to the next MGS or to the entire storyline? But still, I don't know the story/game couldn't draw out a little more. Otherwise, a good game if your into the stealth action genre.
