After purchasing MS Flight Sim I was stuck on what controller to get. I had been using my keyboard for a little while but knew I would need something else. With options ranging from $29 to $4,500 and everywhere in-between, I wasn't sure where to go. Should I get a HOTAS, should I get a yoke? What should I do? Then I found the Turtle Beach - VelocityOne Flightstick. I had used other Turtle Beach products before (headset for Xbox) and thought the quality was outstanding, so in going with a brand name I trust, I went with this flight stick.
Overall I am happy with my selection and still may ultimately also get a VelocityOne yoke but for now, as I said, I'm very happy with this option. Out of the box it is easy to use and pre-configured in a way that makes sense. Additionally, it is very easy to customize (once you read the brief online instruction guide). Out of the box it comes prepped for use with an Xbox, but it is easily changeable to PC, which is what I needed. Additionally out of the box it is programmed for a right handed user, but is very easy to switch to left handed, and that includes the hand wrest that screws into either side of the stick.
I liked the instant integration with the game as well. On the "Objectives" window when it gives you a step, it also tells you which button number to press to accomplish that step. Example: B2 to release brakes. (And while the buttons are reversed when you toggle between right and left handed, the game is not smart enough to change the button numbers on the objective you must do the simple calculation swap in your head. Button 1 = Button 5, Button 2 = Button 6 etc.).
I do wish that they would include a more inclusive user manual than what is provided in the box, but scanning a QR code is the new manual, I get that, and I strongly encourage anyone who purchases this to scan the QR code in the quick start guide and spend 5 minutes going over the detailed instructions. There are quite a few settings that I am eager to learn to tweak like trim wheel, analog axis, etc.
One of the things that I think would be most beneficial is the ability to modify the stiffness of the stick. When making small movements, it is sometimes difficult, especially for a novice, to keep a plane flying straight or level. Also, and this is a big one for me, I wish there were suction cups on the bottom, or a clamp or some other way to make the base more stable. I leave the controller flat on my desk and in simulations, such as fighter jet or something where you need less than gentle movements, the base of the stick rises off the desk and you lose the direction you were trying to move the plane in.
Overall this is solidly built and has enough customization for 99% of sim fliers out there and I would definitely recommend.

This is my 4th year in a row using (upgrading) my version of Adobe Premiere Elements. I continue to edit videos for a Soundscape Wellness YouTube channel as well as for my own personal family videos and this application is the exact level of editing software I need because while I no longer consider myself a beginner, I am also certainly not a professional but Adobe Premiere Elements 2023 makes my videos look pretty darn professional.
At this point I am past the simplistic layout and choose to have multiple video and audio tracks displayed along with a separate music track as well. Additionally if there is a feature I want to try but haven't yet, figuring it out in Premiere Elements is a breeze.
The only thing I would like to see fixed about this application is the Help menu. It would be great if someone would be able to type in layman's terms what they're trying to do and the program would intuitively point you to the appropriate knowledge base article. It is frustrating if you don't know the technical term for something but you're still trying to use the app for help.
Overall however the app is outstanding and I love the downloadable content (titles, slides, etc.) that you can access through it.

I like this little MagSafe charger. It has enough magnetic strength that my phone doesn't bounce around and I don't have to worry about it falling off the charger when I hit a bump or something. I also like the fact that it has an extra USB port on the back of the 12v plug so my wife (or someone else) can charge their phone at the same time. Additionally, the charger provides enough power that I can even increase my battery's charge percentage while using a map app/GPS to navigate. With some of my older chargers, they would only maintain my existing battery level while navigating and wouldn't add to the charge of the phone.
The only things I really don't like about this, hence the 4 stars and not 5, is that it was frustratingly difficult to clip the charger into my car's air vents. (However that difficulty is also the reason that the phone, and charger doesn't fall off while driving.) Additionally, wire management is frustrating and the cable that connects to the back of the charger is difficult to squeeze in-between my dash and radio like some older chargers I had.
Overall, I would recommend this as its good for the price.

This is something I never thought I would want or need and then I moved somewhere it dips into the 50's almost every single night of the year...yes even in June, July, August and September. So we knew that if we wanted to enjoy those late summer evenings without having to keep the fall/winter coats out year round, we needed a solution. The Fahrenheit Infrared Tower Heater does the trick and then some. Now keep in mind, it isn't going to blast heat like one of those propane towers that you can't even get near for fear of your face melting off, but it gets warm enough that it will warm you and yours within a reasonable vicinity of the tower, and you can still move it, touch it, bump it etc. without worrying you'll burn yourself. This makes it much safer to be around the kids as well.
The light and the options for the light make this a fun heater to have around especially when you've got friends over or you're having a night time dance party outside with your toddler. While I don't own more than one, knowing I can connect all of them together so they all play the same song/sounds makes me want to do some fun things for halloween.
The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the instructions are sorely lacking. First of all it tells you to put the two bottom plates together on the ground, and then it shows you how to attach them to the bottom of the heater. Well the heater must be upside down and you have to attach the plates one at a time in mid air to the bottom of the heather with the hex bolts and tool they provide. Not the end of the world, but its a rough start and a frustrating assembly even though we're only talking 3 screws.
Next after following the instructions in the manual, you need to also follow the instructions on the yellow label that is taped underneath the control knob toward the bottom of the tower...again not the end of the world, but if you miss these instructions you're not going to be happy. (Thankfully I saw them in time.)
Lastly, you scan a QR code that takes you to the app download to control the lamp features...except after installing the app, and connecting the lamp via bluetooth to your phone, the app doesn't control any of the lights, or built in equalizer for various music types or anything. So you have to make sure you follow the instructions on the company's home page for the product as well. (No clue why this step isn't in the manual, or in the copy of the manual that's on the app.) But you have to make sure to connect the app to the lamp separately from connecting bluetooth to the lamp. You do this with the magnifying glass icon in the top left of the app.
Overall, this is a great product once you get it set up, but the instructions leave a lot to be desired.

Outstanding sound and microphone quality

I used to use a headset when I worked in a bullpen environment in an office. I currently work from home and just decided to switch to a headset so my wife and son can't hear me on the speakerphone at all times, and so I can stop calling in to Zoom and other teleconference meetings.
I've got to say, the sound quality that comes out of these headphones far exceeds what I could have ever expected compared to my previous Poly and Plantronics experience. These things are almost like wearing base boosting, noise cancelling headphones. When I'm not using the soft phone on my laptop or on a video conference I'm streaming music on them in the background or watching YouTube videos during lunch and WOW it's like listening on high quality top dollar headphones.
When I'm using them for their primary purpose however, (work) I've been told that the sound quality on the other end of my calls and video conferences is outstanding and they're really impressed that the sound is coming from this headset. I've even given the brand/model to some of my co-workers and they're going to buy some because they're so impressed.
I would highly recommend these.

I've been using this keyboard for a few weeks now and the bottom line is, details to follow, that it is now both my primary gaming keyboard as well as my primary work keyboard. Let me explain...
With the Razor apps that you download to support the keyboard, you can customize the heck out of this thing. You can both download and create custom profiles on the keyboard depending on which game(s) you're playing. It also comes with some nice features I find useful in my work from home environment as well.
The softness of the keys make typing on this thing a dream. And while I may miss the loud CLACK CLACK CLACK of an old school keyboard, the smoothness of the keys on the DeathStalker V2 are almost like a massage for my fingertips and I type all day on my keyboard.
And when it comes time to game after work, I move the USB adapters from my work laptop to my gaming machine and I'm ready to go.
The only thing I really get frustrated by with this keyboard is the battery life. If you have any kind of cool pattern going on the keyboard with the LED lights and they're bright enough to see both during the day and at night, the battery needs to be charged quite regularly. Its understandable, but also frustrating. I do wonder why my smartphone can lat for days on a full charge but my keyboard can't unless I dim the lights and decrease the awesomeness. That is my only complain though because you can just plug it in at night and you've got a fully charged keyboard for the next day.

My first and last gaming mouse...for good reason!

Ok, so in all my years of gaming, this is the first time I've bought a gaming mouse. I have just always been comfortable with two buttons and a scroll wheel and anything else i need is on the keyboard or gamepad/joystick. But that has all changed. At first I was intimidated by all the buttons but after installing the Logitech software for the G502 X Plus, I completely understood the value in all these options. This thing is fully loaded and I can literally customize 13 different buttons on this thing and the primary right and left click has the perfect amount of resistance. In addition to the buttons, the feel of the mouse is great. Its solid and comfortable in the right hand. It feels like it is well built/constructed and not like a cheap standard mouse. In addition, after a full charge the batter lasts forever with heavy use. I've used it for 6 or 7 gaming sessions before needing to recharge it and recharging is as simple as plugging it in to your USB C adapter at the end of the day. The only thing that I will say I wish was a little different is the scroll wheel. I wish it had just a little LESS sensitivity. Just accidently brushing the thing sends the scroll bar flying. However, that is something I can get used to and will get used to as I use this thing for work in addition to gaming. So it's more than "just a gaming mouse"...its the last mouse I hope to ever have to buy.

I had an incredibly long and detailed review for this computer but it got taken down for some reason. I know this won't be as detailed as the previous review but let me see if I can remember what I wrote. It went something like this:
This machine is an absolute beast. It does everything you think it should, and more.
But let me start from the beginning. The box is HUGE. However that is because it is so well packaged. The machine itself is hefty and needs secure packaging and thank goodness they realized that. My box arrived damaged but the machine itself was in perfect condition.
The Windows 11 setup is relatively easy, and while I'm not the biggest fan...probably because I'm not used to it yet, but its a relatively smooth and painless to set up. However, be prepared to set aside a few hours to download and install all the Windows updates as well as updates to the proprietary software that comes with the machine. And lest not forget about registration etc. which is something I like to do for all my electronics. But once all that is said and done...
I literally don't know what to compare the graphic capabilities of the R13 to. I haven't had an Xbox since the Xbox 1 but this easily blew it out of the water. I have it connected to a 4K monitor with a DP cable and you can clearly see the difference between that and an HDMI cable.
As far as gaming goes I'll stick to the most graphically intense game I own and that is Flight Simulator. While it has changed since its release, originally only the Xbox Series X could show you Flight Sim in all its 4k or 8k glory. However, the Alienware Aurora R13 blew me away with its sheer beauty and brilliance. When setting up the game the software suggested I run this game on the Ultra graphics mode...which if you know anything about this game, you know that you need a special gaming machine to pull that off...and boy does it do the job.
I can't say enough about the graphics capabilities of this computer and I haven't even begun to touch the surface of how fast it can render 4k video. Yeah...its that good.

This is my first personal electric scooter after riding Lime, Lyft, and others around the streets of downtown Los Angeles. This is a fun scooter, and it looks SHARP. The LED lights in the base are great, although I do wish more customization was possible like what is shown in the picture. For now the only thing I have figured out how to do is have a different solid color one at a time...perhaps there is something I am missing.
I like that the scooter folds at the base of the handle, it makes it easier to carry and store, although it is not light. It's not excessively heavy, but you won't want to find yourself carrying it up too many flights of stair or up too big of a hill.
PROS: Looks sweet. Good battery life. Excellent top speeds of 16 mph on level surfaces or downhill. Comfortable handles. Headlight. 3 different battery saving modes that limit top speed to 8, 12 or 16 mph. Good braking system.
CONS: The 4 screws provided to put into the handles/front bar are frustratingly difficult to install. Also, the built in cruise control feature is really nice, but I like to have more control over my speed, so if I'mn not constantly adjusting my finger on the throttle, the cruise control automatically kicks in every 6 seconds. Perhaps I'll get used to it, but for the time being I find this frustrating. It is really hard to get the tires to the proper inflation pressure with the pump provided because when you unscrew the pump, too much air escapes every single time and you have to do it again. They should include a different pump with the scooter.
Overall, I would recommend this scooter to someone looking for one, but BYOP...bring your own pump.

As a semi-knowledgable crypto investor, until i received this device, I had always stored my crypto on either exchanges or in well known/popular software wallets. I still feel relatively comfortable doing so, however if/when my portfolio grows, I know it is smarter and safer to have either a hardware wallet or cold storage to truly protect my investment.
Having never used a device like this before, I will admit that I was intimidated. However, as far as setup goes, Ledger does make it fairly easy to set up the device thanks to their customer software and step by step setup instructions. The first thing I did was go to the URL that is plainly posted on their packaging once you open the box: ledger.com/start Pretty simple already. From there, it was easy to download and install their software. Once you launch it, it literally takes you step by step through connecting the wallet to your computer via the provided USB cable and then setting it up.
Not only does the software on your computer tell you exactly what to do, but the step by step instructions for setting it up are available directly on the screen of the Ledger Nano S Plus as well, and those were the instructions I followed. It walks you through setting up a 4 to 8 digit PIN number to unlock/access the wallet. It then walks you through how to get your secure 24 word recovery pass phrase in case you ever need it.
Assuming you're already familiar enough with crypto to understand how buying, selling, sending, receiving and transferring crypto works, the Ledger app makes it pretty simple to send/receive your crypto to/from exchanges.
The bigger and more valuable my portfolio grows, the more I will appreciate having this bad boy store my crypto safe and sound.

Works fine with my iPhone 12 Pro. You do have to place the iPhone exactly on the center of the charging pad though so be warned. As far as speed of charge I’d say it’s similar to a usb c AC adapter.
