Does the job with one delay

The wireless adapter does the job advertised, transmitting both picture and sound to an external monitor, TV, or projector. If sound is amplified right at that external monitor or TV, no problem. A challenge arises, however, when I attempt to broadcast video to my projector (that doesn't have a headset/external speaker jack) while plugging an amplification system directly into my laptop's headset jack. Sight and sound become slightly out of phase, with the visual of the projector slightly lagging behind the laptop's sound.

As stated in the summary, as I'm keying in text into MS Word, I've noticed that the cursor easily jumps to different locations. I have yet to fully track the cause, but I'm believe it might be that my finger is incidentally brushing against the touchpad.

can the device be used with a seperate monitor?
Yes, a second monitor can be plugged in via the mini-display port. One does need an adapter, though, from the port to VGA or HDMI.
