Toshiya Fujita's bloody tale of one elegant lady assassin's revenge against the men who ruined her life is told in two movies collected by the Criterion Collection. Both Lady Snowblood and Lady Snowblood: Love Song of Vengeance are included in new 2k digital restorations with uncompressed monoaural soundtracks and newly translated subtitles. Extras include interviews with character creator Kazuo Koike, screenwriter Norio Osada, trailers and more.
This release of LADYSNOWBLOOD is the definitive one. First of all Criterion (the masters of film restoration) are distributing this film, so the picture quality and sound is superb. Also included on the disc is the sequel, which is inferior. Despite that, the purchase is worth it for any fan of classic samurai/martial arts films. Also this is one of the many films that had elements included in Tarantino's Kill Bill, which made that film as great as it was.
This multi-disc release includes Season three of the American sketch comedy television series created and hosted by its star, comedian and actress Amy Schumer.
I love Amy Schumer. The third season of her sketch comedy show is more of what you expect from this comic. The" Inside Amy Schumer" episode is my personal favorite. It features a great ensemble cast including Jeff Goldblum and Paul Giamatti. There are more social satires in this ten episode season. My only complaint is that I wish these seasons were longer. Schumer continues to entertain even as she uses herself as the focus of the joke. Amy doesn't restrain herself with boundaries. She truly is the current queen of comedy!
This is another slasher horror film that I enjoyed. It was meant to pay homage to the horror films of the 1980's. It is well executed in that sense, although I cannot necessarily say that it stands out. It can easily be forgotten among the sea of high quality slashers that have been released lately in the underground "straight to video" market. I think it's worth watching, but it will probably prompt you to watch the classic (and far superior) 80's horror films that have inspired it. If you enjoy this film try the classic 1982 Mad Man as well.
I declare this the best film of 2015! I was never a huge fan of the original mad max trilogy, despite having a love of post-apocalyptic films. But I'm certainly a fan of this one. The action is quite unique. It really can't be compared to other action films at all. Charlize Theron gives a great performance. It is definitely worth owning.
Another attempt at resurrecting the grindhouse era

I did enjoy this film. It is another attempt at recreating the lost grindhouse genre that some of us miss so much. It is a revenge movie in the vein of I Spit On Your Grave. Not as impressive but definitely worth the watch. I would also recommend "Nuns With Big Guns" it's even better and it's from the same director.
100 Tears is a bloody, gory, and brilliant. If you are a hardcore fan of the slasher subgenre of horror than this is for you. Decapitations and dismemberments are plentiful in this film. This is the most killer clown movie since Killer Klowns From Outer Space! I only wished 200 tears would finally go into production which was teased years ago.
Another fine Jurassic Park film. I have enjoyed all four films. If you are a fan of the original trilogy, you can't go wrong here. I do feel this film is better than Jurassic Park 3. Even though that film was also good, it was implicitly the least of the first three films. Twenty years later the park is finally open, and it does bring with it the sweet scent of nostalgia.
As a huge fan of grindhouse films, I have to say that this film is likeable, but not impressive. The basic premise of this film is a Charles Manson like cult leader versus off duty marines. The plot is self is enough to intrigue a grindhouse fanatic. It is a decent movie, but nothing to get excited about. I suggest watching the movie before buying. Although it is completely different, I would recommend purchasing "Intruder". It is a far superior cult classic that the Raimi brothers were involved in.
This film is a must see for fans of the 2010 film!

This film is excellent. As a fan of the original 1978 classic as well as the 2010 movie and its sequel, I can say that I easily enjoyed this film. There is an aspect of the film (later on) that is reminiscent of the phenomenal (Ms. 45). The formula of this installment has been changed. So don't expect to see a repeat of I Spit On Your Grave 2. This film in my opinion is superior, and is a direct sequel to the 2010 release. If you liked or loved that movie you definitely want to see what happens next with Jennifer Hills!
