Simple yet great fitness watch

I used to wear the Microsoft Band 2 for my fitness as well as heart rate monitoring. Since they don't sell it anymore, I was looking for one where it doesn't depend on the smartphone, like the Apple watch or the Samsung gear. I wanted something that has GPS, and does the everyday fitness tracking like the steps, sleep, HR, etc. This one is extremely comfortable and light weight. Once you know the functionality of the buttons, it becomes very easy to use this. It works with any phone by connecting via Bluetooth to get call and text notification. The GPS tracking and maps display on the watch is very intuitive. You can get a day or two of the battery life, depending on your usage. It is also water resistant. The heart rate sensor is pretty accurate. There is an app you can download so the data from the watch is synced. The watch comes with lot of sport modes that is preinstalled and can be chosen for a particular workout. Overall, this is a great sports fitness watch for anyone who isn't looking for a smartwatch and wants a personal sports watch.

Beautiful smart light for home automation

This is a beautiful light fixture that looks good once installed. This is an addition to all the other Philips Hue automation products. You can control this light with an app, or even with your home AI like Alexa, Cortana, etc. This is not a whole room light. Another thing is to make sure you have the Philips Hue bridge for this work, which can be expensive when you want to do the whole home automation. The light itself is dimmable and can change different light colors easily. There is motion sensor that can be programmed to detect and turn on/off the lights. The light bulb is not easily replaceable. Overall, i recommend this product if you already have lot of home automation and want to add this.

Best PDF editor

This Adobe Pro DC is so far the best PDF editor. This has the tabbed multiple PDF interface, which makes it easy to navigate and use instead of multiple windows. I was able to edit documents and add text without looking for the new font on the scanned document. This subscription comes with the cloud feature where you can upload the documents to Adobe cloud and have it handy from anywhere. You can covert, edit, create, and sign PDFs. It also integrates with the Office apps and you can use the plug-in instantaneously to convert any document in a single click. I have created documents with fillable forms. It makes it easy instead of sending word docs and worrying about any changes to it. The only thing I am not a fan of is the subscription model. This is definitely something business would prefer as it keeps the software up to date without allowing any installations via the IT department. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an always update version of the Acrobat DC.

Study and dependable keyboard for Surface Pro

I use my Surface Pro 4 extensively for my schoolwork, my work travels and at leisure time. This keyboard is very sturdy. I switched it with my Type cover. Nothing wrong with Type cover, but sometimes you need a real solid keyboard. This keyboard connects to Surface using Bluetooth instead of the connection pins at the bottom of the Surface. It is easy to pair and comes with backlight. Very comfortable to use as well. Using this keyboard, my Surface Pro looks like the Surface Book. They battery is rechargeable and it lasts around 3+ months on a single charge. I do not turn it off at all. There is a button to find out the battery status of the keyboard. The keyboard hinges to the Surface and does not block any screen area. The touchpad can be sensitive, but it is all customizable. Overall, this is a solid keyboard and would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a replacement or even to just get one as a standalone.

Smart thermostat with awesome features

The Honeywell smart thermostat is very easy to install, took around 20 min. and easy to program and understand the menu. I replaced an old non-smart Honeywell thermostat with this so I can use the smart features that comes with it. Make sure you have the 'C' wire to connect this thermostat if you are replacing an old one as they do not need it. Connecting to Wi-Fi was a breeze. You need to register this with Honeywell to use the remote access feature. I can control the thermostat from anywhere now using the mobile app or from a PC. This is very slick in design and you can select the color you want on the screen to match your decor. Scheduling temperature changes is very easy and very efficient. The unit can be programmed for different days and hours. You can see the current temperature in the middle of the screen. This thermostat can be paired with your existing home hub like Samsung Connect Home, Amazon Echo or Google Hub, etc. so that you can use your voice to control the thermostat. Another cool feature is the fan only mode which can be used to circulate the air without the A/C or the heater being turned on. The controls and touch screen is very intuitive and responsive. I really like the automatic software update that happens at night without any interruptions. Overall, a very compact and nice thermostat with smart features and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an updated from their old systems.

versatile cordless vacuum

Simple and versatile. It is easy to setup out of the box. You do not need any tools to assemble. It is lightweight and cordless. A full charge will last approximately 20 min and then you will see the battery lights indicating it needs to be recharged. The recharging part takes longer. This might be my only con about this vacuum. This comes with two modes, normal and turbo, which is twice the suction power. This one works on both hard wood floors and carpet and you do not need to change anything. The suction is great and it picks up perfectly. It comes with crevice tool, powered cleaning wand, carpet nozzle, stair/upholstery tool. The dirt collection cup is large enough to collect all the dust in one go. As a added feature, I used the smaller brush to clean my car and I was pleasantly surprised how well it was able to clean my seats and the floor area. You can charge it upright with the included wall mount support. But you need to have the wall mount. I highly recommend this vacuum. It is worth for the power, versatility, and easy to use.

Great running headphones

Perfect headphones for running. Very sleek design and compact. I am not a big fan of wired headset while working out. It can get tangled. This Jaybird headphones solves the problem. These are easy to setup and comes with three different fittings, just like every other headphones these days. Make sure to charge it completely before using. The sound is clear. Although I had issue with the Bluetooth connectivity initially, I found out that there is a firmware update that fixes this. You can update the firmware by going to jaybirdsport.com/updates. The fully charged headphones will work for around 4 hours. After that, you can use the carrying case it comes with as a portable charger. It is also water and sweat resistant. So you do not have to worry about all the sweat while working out. It takes few uses to get used to the buttons and remember the controls. The headphones are very comfortable and I did not experience any pain for extended usage. Overall, I am pleased with this and would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for workout headphones.

Bright projector great for office space

This is my first ever personal projector. I have used them at work, at events and at friends place and always wanted to get one. This is a portable and easy to carry projector. It is very easy to setup and connect your devices. It has HDMI connection and supports widescreen laptops perfectly. I was told that this is not a home projector intended for movie nights. Since my apartment and office space is well lit and normal projectors might not be bright enough for displaying presentations, I decided to order this. It produces bright images and I didn't had to get dark curtains to make the room any darker. I used this few times at work for presentations as well as when I was hosting game events. It worked flawlessly and everyone was asking me about the projector. I changed the brightness to ECO mode to increase the bulb life up to 10000 hours. This is a 720p system, perfect for office presentations and game nights. I didn't try projecting any 4K resolution to even see how good or bad it looks since this is not a home theater projector, but I think it can do the job for a small get together family occasions or kids movie nights. The projector comes with a built-in speaker. Although it is good for small room meetings, you might want to use external speakers if presenting to a large group. Overall, this is a great business projector and I highly recommend to anyone who needs a portable office projector.

Great replacement for old routers

A MIMO router from D-Link. This is a good router with easy setup and sleek design. It has a great range and can cover the corners of apartment where it is hard to get good signal. The router is easily customizable and doesn't have to be a tech savvy to change the settings. You can do it via the mobile app (QRS) or via the browser. I like this because all the new routers are moving toward the app setup which doesn't let you change every setting like you can on the browser. I was able to stream multiple devices with no buffering or any lags. You can also prioritize devices easily in the menu. This router comes with easy VPN setup, DLNA and parental controls. There is an additional feature where you can setup VLAN so that you have your own private network apart from your regular network. Because it uses MIMO, the overall bandwidth will be reduced when you connect more devices and the bandwidth is shared equally between devices. But this doesn't degrade the overall performance. This is a solid device and definitely recommend for anyone looking to replace an old router without breaking the bank.

Router with gaming prioritization

This router is specifically targeted towards gamers. Unlike the regular/traditional router, this comes with prioritization engine for games related traffic with minimal lag when playing online. If you have Killer enabled devices, then this router automatically identifies and puts the device at top priority. You can still manually prioritize the devices, but this is a nice feature. The setup is pretty easy, just like any other router. It is strongly advised that you customize it the first time you use so you can change all the default settings. Performance wise, this thing runs smooth and I haven't had any connection drops, even when using all my 10+ devices. If you find the LEDs are distracting, you can easily turn it off in the settings. As with the newest routers, this one also combines both 2.4 GHZ and 5 GHZ and automatically manages the wireless devices that are connected with the best signal. You can change it if you want the two networks separate. Another great feature is that this router is certified for Dynamic frequency selection (DFS), which means stronger signal and less interference by operating at 160 MHz. Linksys routers are one of the best in the market and I have been using Linksys routers for a long time.
