I'm kind of stubborn when it comes to my music. Silent planet says somethings that I'm not really in sync with but oh well you can't like everything everyone says. It's a serious contender for album of the year in its category of course. What you've come to expect from silent planet you get, they put their heart into every song and lyrics.

I like to read the lyrics and get insight on what a band hopes to accomplish with each song. With most of bands you can just be happy with the information in the booklet and that is more than enough. But in this case it goes way deeper. I invite you to check their website to an insight on every song. Every song is a color which revolves around an idea that since birth we get different colors. Apart from being deep it's a really good metalcore cd.

The case came cracked online I wouldn't recommend to get it online. That being said the cd is exactly as advertised 9 songs from the movie and one that is remixed. It will be your best worst decision you will ever make. I bought it from my 3 year old and that's all I put all the time. But it is easier to put on the cd than have to look through youtube.

The movie itself is great has withstood the test of time. I'm betting a lot of people are watching it because of the new disney live action film but I still like the cartoon one better. The only only flaw and I find it super annoying is having to watch the movie pressing pause and a stupid sing along comes on. The purpose of a pause is that you need a pause you want the noise to stop. But when you put pause it just starts a song and it gets annoying. I don't see anybody pressing pause randomly to get a sing along even if you have little ones

Well its a little bit better than their last album just enough for me. It is generic metalcore in a sense they have long abandoned their growls and yells and now exhibit more clean vocals which is fine for me if it was a new band. I wasn't expecting much and didn't get disappointed. It's nothing like their old stuff if that's what you like. It's not a banger it is what it is. They stop talking about God in every song which for me is a let down but no one in the scene is doing that anymore. It keeps the secular people happy while keeping us believers at bay.

Worst For Today album to date

I loved all the previous For today albums to date and I listen to them everyday. The overall lyrics are beautiful and stick to what For today has always delivered. The music sounds all the same. It feels so repetitive to what all other bands are putting out these days. Unlike other people I am fine with the cleans that is not what's wrongs with the album in my eyes. The seem to put there music into a machine if you will sort of like auto tune if you will. In my eyes if you want to hear a good metal album listen to Saving Grace "The urgency" :)

What's not so great: The stencil of the band loses the eyes of the seraphim I didn't like that
