For an entry level sound bar, this one sounds great. I bought it on sale via cyber Monday deals. My only gripe is that it doesn't display a volume magnitude so if there isn't something playing through the speakers I have no idea how much I am turning up or down the volume. This cost a star for my rating.

The price is great for what you get. I used this TV as a gaming monitor. It scales 1080P up nicely and 4K sources look great. This monitor has a very low latency compared to similar monitors. Overall performance is great!

The not so good:
I took one star off because of the bad experience with Samsung smart hub. It all but forces you to accept them monitoring your usage and puts adds in the home menu. I tried refusing this, but then access to the smart hub is turned off and, surprise, you can no longer change inputs because access to that is through the hub.

My Xbox Live Gold subscription was overdue for renewal, and I thought I would buy this card to renew it. However I found out after purchase that you cannot use prepaid cards of any kind with Xbox if you have an overdue subscription. I read the fine print on this prepaid card and couldn't find any mention of this. So I ended up having to also purchase a renewal online. At least my next renewal is now in 2 years...

I don't have the specific procedure for you, but I had the same problem with a Seagate Personal Cloud product and support was very helpful. I emailed support and it took them about 5 days to get back, but they told me exactly what to do to get it back.

Can I back up 3 different computers one with vista, one with windows 7, and one with windows 8.1 on the same drive?
As long as there is sufficient room on the drive and the computers can reach it, you can use this device to back up any of these versions of Windows.
The caveat is that each computer must be able to reach the device. This can be as simple as plugging the drive into each computer, or you can get fancy and share the drive on a network these computers connect to.

how it works
does this product use a separate service such as Dropbox for storage (as does MyPassport)? I want storage to be local.
This product is compatible with such services, but does not use one without setting it up. This is just an external drive that runs locally via a USB 3.0 connection.
Since you want local storage, this would fit the bill nicely.
