Rockstar Games continues to make great games. I just started gaming again after a nearly decade-long hiatus and it feels like I never left. Great games are still great games made by great developers and the changes have all been commendable: better graphics, gameplay, storyline, more immersive worlds, more intuitive play, and more features and functionality within the game itself in general. It's Good (But Needs Prime)

I like my new 4th gen Apple TV; it has a simple interface, it's easy to install and use, and it has most apps I wanted and some I didn't even know I wanted. It also allows me to create a Homekit Hub (*of sorts), which allows me to leverage Siri to control a few smart devices I own.
The above withstanding, without an Amazon Prime Video app (*both Apple & Amazon's fault, contrary to popular internet opinion), I end up using my Smart TV's interface rather than switching back and forth since my Smart TV has apps for Netflix & Prime Video. This is my only gripe and the reason for 4-stars instead of 5 since otherwise the device meets my expectations.

Pricey But Functional

This seems to be pricey but the sensor in this thing works a million times better than any smoke alarm I've ever had in terms of no false alarms due to kitchen tragedies or excessively long showers. In addition, it's hard to put a price tag on the benefit of all the additional features (path-light, testing remotely, voice warning before loud alarms,etc.). Having it "connected" also gives me peace of mind when not home that my house & pets are safe.
End of the day, you'll get no "don't buy" complaints or warnings from me as I'm just happy with increased functionality, incredibly user-friendly installation, and peace of mind the product delivers for my personal needs/circumstance.

Got this beast of a router to replace my AirPort Extreme 802.11n (5th Generation). So far, I have close-to-zero complaints. I am consistently getting better speeds, better connectivity distance, better reliability (especially during HD and UHD streaming to my basement), and the new router is very capable in terms of handling as many devices as I've thrown at it simultaneously (most was 8; 5 streaming devices while other 3 devices were just web surfing). I am also a big fan of the web UI, which allows you to set up VPN across the network and a slew of other modifiable network settings and configs.
Only small complaint is the 10,000 small blinking lights on the front/top of router. This is sitting open on a desk in my center, master bedroom and every night I have to put a little Ringwraith figure over the set of lights to block them out. Otherwise, they illuminate the room enough to disturb sleep. Ultimately, this is an issue with all modems/routers I have bought and/or considered over the years.
All in all, definitely recommend and approve of this router.

-The scan-to-mac functionality works really well.
-Print quality is okay compared to the wide array of printers available at BB or great when considering the price tag of the unit compared to the aforementioned, higher-quality printers.
-Not as ugly as it's Canon predecessors (*note: admittedly super subjective, but isn't all of this review? <--rhetorical) Basically though, I liked it's aesthetics since it complements my other white and silver desktop-stationary devices and iMac. In addition, the size of this machine does not require a whole new desk to accommodate it. Not too big but not too small either (twss).
-Installation on my Mac was incredibly easy (*Disclaimer: I work in IT and tend to be an early adopter. RESULTS MAY VARY.).
-The scan-to-mac functionality works really well.

I didn't pay for Apple Care on this product nor bought Best Buy's warranty, so I needed more protection. I didn't like it's flimsiness, the embedded magnet was losing strength after a mere couple weeks so it wasn't staying closed as well, and I refused to buy an overpriced screen cover. That withstanding, I returned the product and bought an Otterbox case for it instead. I know some folks hate them because of weight and size increases, but I'm okay with those issues since I can (*and have) dropped this new iPad multiple times without a single issue while encased. My advice, if you're tough on your stuff or it might get dropped at all you may want to invest in a stronger, more durable case.

Backstory: My ISP sent me an email trying to get me to purchase or rent one of their modems since they "detected my cable modem was outdated and needed to be upgraded." While my cable company/ISP is the devil, I knew I had not updated the modem when I updated my router. Basically, I knew after 4 years it was legitimately time to upgrade.
Review: The modem is basically plug and play. No crazy adjustments or additional steps required. I saw an immediate increase in my internet speed performance (+1 Mbps for dl's) after installation. It's quiet, doesn't get too hot, not unsightly, and has been working flawlessly since purchase. No work required on my part.
Suggestion: If you're in the situation described in my backstory above, then this is a solid modem to upgrade to and it's fairly inexpensive considering what it allows me to do. I am happy and if you share similar expectations then you will probably be satisfied as well with this product:

The backstory: I am one of those guys that cannot use a real/straight razor or other variations of them due to the annoyingly persistent hypersensitivity of my skin. So, I use trimmers to keep me from looking like a wooly mammoth. I tend to like Norelco trimmers. My old one died and I bought this one as its replacement.
The review: The trimmer cuts close enough to make people think you actually shaved but not close enough to make your skin smooth. Basically, like most trimmer usage, you will always have some stubble if your facial hair is coarse. Good news is I get zero irritation from this thing, it was relatively cheap, and it is really easy to clean. Bad news is that it has few attachments, no stand or station for keeping upright or handy in the bathroom, and the laser will friggin blind you if not careful. Moreover, I don't really use the laser that often or understand its utility. It just seems weird and gets in your eyes eventually; it's not a very practical feature IMO. However, all in all I think it's a decent product. I mean, I kept it after holding onto the box and receipt for return if it wasn't up to my standards and personal needs.
My suggestion: Try it out and see if it works for you. If not, simply return it. In my experience razors/shavers/trimmer satisfaction is very different for everyone, even if it's the same exact product being used by all. There's a lot of factors to consider so be smart, shop smart, and buy smart for you.
