great keyboard but took some getting used to

The Logitech K845 is beautiful and modern looking. I love the steel grey color and look of the board and keys. The keyboard feels very strong and well built. Logitech claims that it has been tested to last 50 million clicks. Seems Legit. This keyboard feels like it will definitely outlive your computer. It has kickstands so you can tilt it up, they are stable and have rubber feet to keep the keyboard from sliding. The keyboard backlight has a nice glow that lights up the keys well without being too bright. The keys are pretty big, raised and well spaced. They have very good travel with a satisfying click. The sound honestly reminds me of the good old fashioned keyboards I learned to type on in school. It was very simple to set up, literally just plug it into a usb port and it's ready to go in seconds. No drivers to download.
I was pleasantly surprised by the different lighting effect options. You can toggle through different settings by pressing the FN key and F12. My personal favorite is the setting that lights up the keys are you press them.. lol Its a gimmick but it made me smile.
Be patient with it when you first start using it. You'll have to find a typing position that works for you. I made so many errors and miss clicks for the first 5 minutes of use with this keyboard. I think that mostly has to do with the fact that I am used to typing on a flat laptop keyboard. You have to adjust to the high keys and not having a palm rest. I did not try gaming with this keyboard because my desktop computer honestly can't run anything other than minecraft and solitaire so I can't comment on gaming with this.
I think most people would be pleased with this keyboard after taking the time to get used to it. I like its compact form , large keys and it has been comfortable to type on.

Excellent Sound Quality.. Poor noise isolation
on September 27, 2020
Posted by: Ponskippa
from San Antonio, TX
I'm going to be a little critical about these earbuds because admittedly.. I had high expectations after getting my hands on them. So.. My first complaint, They are a little big and bulky. They don't weigh hardly anything.. but they remind me of the first bluetooth earbuds that were sold , you know with the big hooks that go around your ear and you saw people in suits using to talk on the phone? They are stamped with a huge Bose logo on them.. not a big deal but im not the type of person who likes to walk around showing off brands and logos to the world. I prefer a clean, low key modern design. These earbuds do not have noise cancellation and the included rubber tips do not create a perfect seal in my ear. if you plan on using these earbuds outdoors or in loud environments, you will hear just about everything going on around you. I could still hear people talking 6 feet away from me with these on and the volume at about 60-65% The smaller ones were too small and only exacerbated the issue, and the larger tips were not comfortable for me. The hook design doesn't stay put in my ears and kept popping out. The earbuds stayed in place, but I could feel the hooks pop out every now and then. It could be a personal issue. Maybe it's my ears, maybe you'll have a better fit and experience with them. They aren't the worst.. but they certainly aren't the best design either.
Call quality and microphone quality is excellent. The people I spoke to on phone calls all said I sounded nice , loud and clear. They all mostly said it sounded as if I was holding my handset up against my face.
Going back to the fact that the ear tips do not completely seal outside ambient noise.. It makes using these earbuds for phone calls a pleasure. Because I can still hear myself talking, even with both earbuds in place and I don't feel like I need to scream or am talking too loud when I am on the phone with these. I adjusted to the fact and appreciate it a bit. Those of you who jog or bike ride will especially appreciate it because you'll be able to hear any oncoming dangers.. ya know.. cars, etc etc. You'll remain aware of your surroundings if you keep the music at a moderate volume.
They are sweat and water resistant so you don't need to worry about your sweat or a little rain ruining them.
Sound quality is excellent, as expected from Bose. The sound is well balanced to my ears. Bass is nice and punchy without overpowering everything else. Mids are prominent without being muddy and Treble is crisp and bright without sounding tinny. Honestly.. these earbuds are best used in quiet environments because you will only hear the beautiful sound of music streaming into your ears. They do sound great and it makes me forgive the negatives about them. It's just hard for me to recommend them to someone who wants to use these to drown out the loud sounds of the busy world around them. At the gym, I can still hear the weights clanking and the music they blast over the speakers. If the lack of outside noise isolation is not a deal breaker for you, or if you mostly plan on using these indoors in quiet environments such as the office or at home.. then Id say go for it. It's a love/hate relationship with these for me but I will hang onto them and enjoy my music with them when I'm relaxing at home or in bed.

Mind blown by the Powaaa of this ultralight vacuum

I don’t typically get excited about house hold cleaning products but I was stoked to try this soon as I took it out of the box. It isn’t exactly a featherweight vacuum but it is definitely light enough to use to clean areas above your head. (Ceiling fans, shelves, wall crevices, etc etc) The vacuum was super easy to set up without diving into the manual. It comes with 5 attachments. The floor/carpet head, a smaller head for upholstery and furniture, a crevice tool, a dusting tool and an attachment that will hold a second piece on the vacuum stick. We thought our place looked clean before I opened up this vacuum and took it for a spin. I was excited to try this on our bedroom carpet and bed lol. On the first pass of our bedroom carpet floor, you can see in the photos attached just how much dust and hair this thing picked up! My girl and I both said Whoa! Let’s clean up the rest of the floors lol. So we spend the rest of the evening taking turns cleaning with it. I’m 6 ft tall and I was able to reach out ceiling fan with the dusting brush attachment. The vacuum and cable are light enough that my arm didn’t really get to tired while holding it above my head for extended periods. The vacuum is a breeze to use and takes very little effort when pushing and pulling it across carpets and floors. The large roller head swivels easy also for maneuvering around furniture and corners. It has a built in head lamp for spotting dust and debris in dim areas. The best part about the vacuum head? Not much hair got stuck in the rollers or brushes. It really does clean itself. Amazed! I love it. I just pulled the couple of hairs that did get left behind and trashed it. No need to struggle with taking it apart or brushes to pull hair out of the roller heads. There is three different filters in the machine that are easily removed and need to be rinsed about once a month. I can’t state how long they’ll last because I’ve only had it for a week but so far the filters are good and holding steady. I empty the can and rinse it out as soon as I’m done cleaning. It’s also a simple chore and takes very little effort. Would I recommend this vacuum? Most definitely! Especially if you suffer from dust and hair / pet allergies.

Great for social gamers / streamers

I’ve had the opportunity to use and game with the Turtlebeach Stealth 600 for the last 7 days and although initially I was not really impressed with them, as time went on and the more time I spent with them, they grew on me. They don’t have jaw dropping sound quality, especially in the bass and low end. Bass, explosions, and the low rumbles and booms you expect in action and shooter games sound a little artificial. But they make up for this minor con with everything else this headset provides. You do get to toggle through several preset EQ settings at the push of a button. The headset will beep 1 - 4 times to let you know what mode you are in. I prefer the 2nd mode as it works and sounds best in action / shooter games. They do get really loud and the guns on Modern Warfare / Warzone sound great through this headset. You’ll be able to tell what side of the map gunfire is is and you’ll hear footsteps in great detail also. Very helpful for competitive gaming. Build quality is excellent, the head band is very strong and has not loosened up at all in my week of use. It’s so strong in fact that I have to expand the headset to a wider than normal set for me because they’ll start to hurt my ears after about an hour or so of use. I have a big head and big ears, so they may fit you better. After a slight adjustment though, I’ve found a great comfortable spot for me that allows me to game for a couple of hours. I really like the retractable mic , folding it up and away will mute your mic for those instances when someone walks into your room and you need to talk to them. Lower the boom and you’re ready to go again. I’ve only had an issue once pairing to my PS4 and I think it was because I plugged in the dongle long before I turned on the headset. I found that turning on the headset first then immediately plugging in the dongle to the PS4 will provide the quickest and most seamless connection. My favorite feature about this headset though is that the headset will allow you to hear yourself talking through the mic while your gaming. You can adjust the volume of your mic for monitoring on the headset itself. There is a separate volume rocker for it. It’s a brilliant feature. I’ve never liked that I feel like I have to scream over the sound of the game because I can’t hear myself talking. This headset makes me feel like I’m wearing one of those mono headsets that I can still hear myself talking on without sacrificing sound quality of the headsets / game I’m playing. I think this headset is almost perfect, and I recommend it to anyone who likes to game and chat with friends simultaneously. 5 stars.

Powerful, convenient and easy to clean

The Ninja Foodi Power Nutri Duo is a pretty powerful and easy to use blender. Making smoothies with one of those old fashioned big pitcher blenders was always a lil cumbersome for me. You end up with large chunks of fruits/veggies and or you always got to shove a spoon in there to move the chunks around so they get blended. The Ninja Power Nutri has been great for smoothies. You still end up with tiny seeds obviously, but fruits and vegetables all get liquified nicely. I'm one of those weirdos who has a hard time eating some fruits and vegetables so being able to blend them into delicious smoothies with this helps me get all the nutrients I need. The blender has for speed / power presets. Two of them are for the blender cups, and the other two are food the "food bowl" that comes included. The blending presets all have a timer with variable speeds to allow the food to slush around and move towards the blades. Making a smoothie with the preset worked perfectly and I'm excited to try different recipes. You get two blended cups and the bowl. The bowl has a built in "power paddle" which pushes food down towards the blades for those thick harder to blend recipes. Its a very cool and convenient feature, so you don't have to remove the top off your bowl to push the food around manually. Should be great for blending up your own nut butters, salsas, and hummus. The base of the machine has strong suction cups that will stick nicely to your countertop to prevent it from shaking around / making you hold it in place. Cleaning the cups and bowls is very simple also. The book suggests cleaning the bowl by rinsing the blades and cup with warm water then filling it with some water and a drop or two of dish soap then using the bowl setting to clean it up. I found it to work great with the big smoothie cups also. The blades and cups ended up nice and clean with no residue left over.
I love this, I never liked having to clean up a blender after making smoothies or sauces. Would I recommend this to a friend? Yep! Especially to anyone looking to improve their diet with delicious and nutritious home made smoothies , butters, and sauces.

The Sony WH-1000XM4 are an amazing piece of technology. I'm going to call it my favorite tech of the year so far. Sound quality is among the best I've ever heard in a pair of headphones. Bass is deep but not overwhelming, Mids and Highs come through very clear without sounding muddy or tinny. They are tuned very well and sound great with any genre of music, podcast, or ASMR you want to listen to. Battery life is excellent, I fell asleep with them on early this morning and had them on for about 5 hours listening to a relaxation / guided meditation track and the battery is still holding strong. When I woke up, my ears or head didn't hurt at all, so Its safe to say that the headset is comfortable for long listening sessions. The noise cancellation is fantastic, I sleep in a room with a window A/C unit and I could hardly even hear it through the headset. I forgot I had it on and had to look to make sure it was on before i fell asleep. I never imagined myself wanting to go to bed with headphones on, but these are great and help me tune out sounds that might wake me up and or distract me from the guided meditation I'm listening to. I highly recommend this headset to anyone who wants the best active noise cancellation for your commute, home or office. They are also quite smart. When someone comes and talks to you and it hears you speak, the headset is smart enough to pause the music / track for you and lets in ambient sounds so that you can talk to the person without removing or having to pause yourself. I was pleasantly surprised by the feature and I love it! The right ear cup has touch controls, but I always seem to have trouble using swipe gestures. It's nice to have but i hardly use them. The headset also has a sensor in the left ear cup that senses when you remove the headset from your ears and will automatically pause what you're listening to and resume it when you put them back on. I love this also, don't have to fumble with my phone or other device to take a quick pause. Sony provides a companion app for the headset on iOS and Android that will allow you to tweak different settings and update the headset firmware also. It's very easy to use and stable. I could go on and on about this headset all night, but I need to get some snooze now, But trust me when I say that you will not be disappointed with this headset, and will be very pleased with the build quality, sound quality and all the smart features packed into it.

comfortable, pleasing sound quality

I was a little skeptical of this headset when taking it out of the box, but I was pleasantly surprised overall. Although the build quality of the earcups feels a bit on the "cheaper" side, the sound quality is decent. Bass isn't head pounding, but its good enough for most audio. The experience varies by device though. My nintendo switch sounds pretty low when connected with the included auxiliary cable. When the headset is paired to my iPhone or MacBook with bluetooth they get louder. When gaming, the sound quality is fine for casual gaming. I wouldn't depend on it if you want it for competitive gaming. The retractable microphone is a nice touch and is hardly noticeable when pushed into the stow position. Microphone works pretty good, my friends said i came through nice and clear when connected to party chat on my playstation 4. The headband feels sturdy and strong enough to survive a minor beating. Although comfortable my only complaint is that the ear cups are small. If you prefer headsets that completely cover your whole ear then I would not recommend these to you. I think this headset would be great for a family with children who would like a headset they can use for music listening and some casual gaming and or chatting with friends online / face timing.

great starter microphone

This is the first desktop / pro type microphone I have owned and used so you'll have to pardon me if I miss anything. That being said.. The JLab Talk Pro microphone is pretty easy to setup and use, even for an amateur like me. I plan on using this microphone to start a podcast with my best friend. I also plan on using it to make gaming videos and maybe even record my guitar amp with it now and then. The microphone is pretty much plug and play. I have been able to use it with my MacBook Air, iPad Pro, and PS4. Although for the iPad and MacBook air you will need a USB C adapter as there isn't one included in the box. I haven't needed to install any drivers or software to use this microphone and the included usb cable also powers the microphone. Which is pretty great, as it has worked very good with every MacBook and iPad app I've tried so far. The microphone does come with a tripod mount which is very convenient. It has a button to quickly switch between different recording modes. Front , Omni ( surround) Setero ( leftt and right ) and Bi Directional ( Front and Back ) which is suited for interviews / podcasts. The mic has a volume knob and gain knob, and also a headphone input below so that you can monitor the audio. The microphone also has a nifty LED bar that shows how far you've adjusted the gain and volume. There's also a quick mute button located in the front. I'm impressed with the sound quality of the recordings I've made with the microphone. My voice definitely sounds fuller, louder and clearer with this microphone. I tested recording a conversation with my nephew who was sitting about 4 feet from me and it was able to pick up his voice clearly while managing to keep ambient and background noise to a minimum. It isn't perfect, You'll definitely need a studio setup to control background noise. I feel confident also using this microphone to record some guitar samples and dropping them into GarageBand to arrange some music. The coolest thing about is is being able to adjust levels and recording direction on the fly with the buttons and knobs on the microphone. Would i recommend this microphone to a friend? Definitely. Especially for someone just getting into recording. It is very easy to setup and use. I think pro's looking for a second affordable microphone might even appreciate this.

Let me say up front that I'm no Chef Ramses , and im a total amateur in the kitchen. But i do enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes while making it as easy as I can for myself. lol. Anywhooo, The first thing i decided to make with this was peanut butter, i followed a basic ingredient list.. you know, honey roasted peanuts and peanut oil. This machine chopped them up and churned it into peanut butter quick and easy. The lid has this convenient pour in spout. I want to say it measures out about a tablespoon. I poured some peanut oil in through it while chopping up the peanuts after realizing I hadn't put enough oil in to begin with. A very thoughtful and convenient feature to have!
The next thing I decided to use this for was to make a cheesecake lol. I know I know, kind of over kill. BUT it was great for pulverizing graham crackers for my crust, and then beating up the cream cheese and eggs for the batter. The cup is large enough to handle two whole cream cheese packs with room to spare. I set it to the lowest speed and let it work its magic. My cheesecake turned out nice and fluffy. This is the first chopper / food processor I've ever owned so I'm just kind of having fun experimenting with anything and everything. I think the next time I use it I am going to try and mash some yogurt with bananas and nutella. This thing is honestly fun to have in the kitchen. I love that it is cordless, it charges up fairly quickly, and the battery lasts longer than I expected it to. I would say I have used it for about 5-10 minutes of chopping time over a few days and I still haven't needed to plug it in for charging. It's design makes it quick and easy to clean up. You can take it apart completely and easily hand wash it in the sink. Overall.. I'm pretty impressed with this little food processor. It's small, convenient, and very safe and easy to use. It's the first time I use one and I feel like I've been missing out all these years.

Amazing all around compact Stills and Video Camera
on June 15, 2020
Posted by: Ponskippa
from San Antonio, TX
Sony got a lot of things right with this compact camera. Just when I thought manufacturers were beginning to give up on compact cameras, Sony unleashes another pocket monster! I'll start by saying that the autofocus is very fast with this camera. It is very accurate also. It recognizes faces and eyes quickly and nails focus instantly. The camera has a mode called "product showcase" which will kind of turn off the face detect when you bring a product into view. So, lets say you are making a makeup tutorial video, The camera will focus on you, and when you bring up your lipstick or mascara the camera will quickly focus on to the product you bring into view, and when you move it out of sight, it will quickly focus on your face again. A brilliant feature. This camera is made for video creators. Vlogging, Product Reviews, Home Videos, you name it. I think the camera is more video oriented. It has an awesome built in microphone, Sony includes a "dead cat" or aka a wind sock in the box. It has a hot shoe mount and will cover the huge microphone that is on the top of the camera. It's meant to hush wind and silent ambient sounds a bit and let voices come through clearly. It works, and its awesome that it is included in the box. The screen the flips out and is of the vari angle type. You can frame just about any angle you need with the screen. It has touch capability, but mostly to set focus tracking. Another great feature in the camera is High frame rate mode. You can record uptown 960 frames per second! Mind boggling. You can really create some amazing slow motion footage with this camera also. This camera is so jam packed with features and modes that I'm still digging and finding new things to do with it 4 days later and it would probably take another hour of typing to list them all. Build quality is very good, although it feels like the camera is mostly hard plastic. It is very strong and rigid though, I already dropped it once >.< and it didn't even get a tiny scuff or scratch. After the baby heart attack I had, I was impressed to see that the camera looks brand new. The Zeiss lens is bright and focuses / zooms very quickly. I wish it zoomed just a little further, but it is fine for most scenarios. My only complaint about this camera is that it doesn't have a built in / pop up flash. I like to carry compact cameras with me all the time, and a pop up flash would be great for low light / night./ indoor and party photos. The built in microphone makes up for it thought, because I honestly think the microphone is good enough in the camera to skip plugging in any kid of external microphone. The image sensor is large enough and the lens is bright enough for most low light or indoor situations though. I just prefer to use a flash sometimes My other minor complaint is thet the camera has a micro USB port for charging and syncing. It's ancient technology, and I wish it had USB-C. It works, but USB - C is the new standard. And I imagine the camera would charge and sync just a little quicker with the newer port. Would I recommend this camera to a friend? For sure! I would recommend this camera to someone who wants a well rounded and compact camera that can be relied on for just about any scenario. I plan on carrying this camera with me everywhere I go and I will be taking many home videos of my family to cherish forever. Most importantly, I think this camera will be the best for chasing my little nephews around the house and yard and take many photos and videos and memories. Sony has an optional vlogger kit that can be purchased with the camera or as an added option. It can be used as a monopod and table top tripod. It remains compact and easy to carry. It will pair with the cameras bluetooth antenna and allow you to zoom and snap a photo or start and stop your video recording. I wouldn't say its a must have but is definitely very convenient for many situations. Also it will help stabilize your video just a little bit more.
Pros: Blazing fast and accurate autofocus
Very good 4k video quality
Great microphone and articulating bright screen
Very good battery life
Cons: Micro Usb charging and sync port
no pop up or built in flash

Blink video door bell does it detect you even if you don't press the door bell button? Or how it works to notify you? Would you receive alert notification if some one is at door just standing?

Yes, you can choose to have motion detection on and or just doorbell. They both work great. Motion detection is so good on it that it captured a video of my neighbors cat running by chasing a squirrel lol

I assume that it will, although you might need a lightning to USB C adapter. But I can confirm that it does connect to iPad OS on iPads that have a USB-C port

i have a hard time with my airpods pro my ears are just so small and they always fall out. Will these work better? i just want something that won't fall out so much and use all-day

That’s hard to say, since Ive never had issues with AirPods or AirPods Pro falling out of my ear, but I can say that these are very comfortable. They come with three different sizes of rubber tips so you can find a fit that works for you. But I think the design of these are great and they shouldn’t fall out.
