The Beatles Eight Days A Week The Touring Years
on November 22, 2016

The Beatles: Eight Days A Week - The Touring Years is one of the best Beatles movies since A Hard Day's Night. Ron Howard directed this music documentary movie to take us back to the days that the Beatles performed every concert tour around the world from the beginning to the end. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr tell their side of what was it like performing in front of screaming fans who were there to witness the Beatles in concert. In addition, a few celebrities like Whoopi Goldberg and Sigourney Weaver tell what it was like watching the Beatles performing in concert.

We Hope You Will Enjoy The Show!

The Beatles Live At The Hollywood Bowl is finally on CD album after years of waiting and out of print. It sounded much better, bigger, and louder than the original 1977 LP Vinyl Record Album. When I first bought the LP album, all I can hear are mostly screaming fans, but not the Beatles. You could hardly hear the Beatles singing. It's like this the screaming fans are the lead vocal, and the Beatles are singing the background vocals. Thanks to technology, you can hear the Beatles singing lead vocals and the screaming fans are in the background. The Beatles Live At The Hollywood Bowl is the must have CD live album that Beatles fans including myself have been waiting for years. It is in conjunction to the Ron Howard film The Beatles: Eight Days A Week - The Touring Years. So seat and enjoy listening to the Beatles Live At The Hollywood Bowl. We hope you will enjoy the show.

Christopher Nolan's groundbreaking Dark Knight Trilogy is featured in this special edition release. Nolan's dark, gritty portrayal of Bruce Wayne's transition into Batman and his struggles as Gotham's superhero set the precedent for modern superhero films. With minimal usage of CGI and a focus on character driven narratives, the three Christian Bale-led films were both critical and box office successes. The three entries - Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), and The Dark Knight Rises (2012) - are included in this collector's edition, as well as commentary and behind the scenes bonus content.

Relive all seven seasons of the revolutionary sci-fi television series Star Trek: The Next Generation, which aired between 1987 and 1994. Scrapping the original series' limited "five-year mission" for a more ambitious ongoing one, Star Trek: The Next Generation aims high from its first episode. The Enterprise D is captained by Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart), a leader more reserved and thought-driven than the beloved Captain Kirk. Other notable crew members include Klingon lieutenant Worf (Michael Dorn), security chief Tasha Yar (Denise Crosby), android Data (Brent Spiner), empathic ship's counselor Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis), first officer Will Riker (Jonathan Frakes) VISOR-wearing lieutenant Geordi La Forge (LeVar Burton), Chief Medical Officer Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden), and her genius son Wesley (Wil Wheaton). This release features tons of bonus content and behind the scenes features.

Although it undoubtedly goes without saying at this late date, the original Star Trek is the most popular and influential science fiction series ever seen on American network television--and as far as many people are concerned, it remains absolutely the best TV series of any kind. The weekly, hour-long Star Trek was conceived as "Wagon Train in outer space" by its creator, Gene Roddenberry, who had long labored in the TV-western mills before his pet project made its NBC debut on September 8, 1966. Describing space as "the final frontier" in the opening narration, Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner), commander of the starship U.S.S. Enterprise, informed the viewer that his vessel's five-year mission was to "seek out new life forms and new civilizations", and "to boldly go where no man has gone before." The series was set in the 23rd century, a time in which most of the various intergalactic civilizations (with the notable exception of the warlike Klingons!) had forged a lasting peace and formed the United Federation of Planets, for whom the Enterprise was the flagship. While the heroic, self-sacrificing Kirk was the leading character and primary plot motivator, the series' most famous character was the Enterprise's pointy-eared first officer/science officer Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy). Born on the planet Vulcan and the product of a Vulcanian father and human mother, Mr. Spock was cool, unflappable, unemotional, meticulously logical--and to thousands upon thousands of female Star Trek enthusiasts, irresistible. Other members of the multiethnic crew included Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy (DeForest Kelley), the ship's short-tempered chief medical officer ("Dammit, Jim, I'm a doctor, not a mind-reader!"); chief engineer Montgomery "Scotty" Scott (James Doohan); Lt. Uhura (Nichelle Nichols), the African American communications officer; Lt. Sulu (George Takei), the Asian helmsman; nurse Christine Chapel (played by Majel Barrett, later Mrs. Gene Roddenberry); and, beginning in the second season, Russian-born ensign Pavel Chekov (Walter Koenig). Another principal character, Yeoman Janice Rand (Grace Lee Whitney), appeared sporadically during the first two seasons. Unlike so many other sci-fi/fantasy programs, Star Trek favored strong characterizations and solid story values over gadgetry and monsters: indeed, it was originally touted as "TV's first adult science fiction series." As such, the program attracted the best writers of the genre, among them Richard Matheson, Theodore Sturgeon, Robert Bloch, David Gerrold and Harlan Ellison, and the series' prolific story consultant, D.C. Fontana). Even so, there were still plenty of special photographic effects, which may seem a bit primitive when seen today but were sufficiently impressive to earn an Emmy award. The most memorable special effect was utilized whenever Kirk and his officers were "disintegrated" in order to be transported from the deck of the Enterprise to the surface of the planet of the week, and back again--inspiring the series' most famous catchphrase, "Beam me up, Scotty". While NBC has come in for its share of criticism for dictating budget cuts and production-staff changes that gradually eroded the series' quality (especially during its much-maligned third season), the network deserves credit for keeping Star Trek alive for three seasons and 79 episodes, despite mediocre ratings. It was only after its cancellation on September 2, 1969 and its move into off-network syndication that Star Trek began steadily building a huge audience above and beyond its core fan base of "Trekkers" (or "Trekkies", depending upon the fan's age and extent of enthusiasm). By the time the first Star Trek convention was held in 1972, the series' place in the Valhalla of TV classics was assured.

THE BEATLES STEREO BOX SET
June 2, 2014
YEAH, YEAH, YEAH! The Beatles Stereo Box Set has been remastered and is bigger, better, stronger, clearer, and louder than the original CD albums that was released in 1987. Once you hear the remastered version of the entire 13 Beatles albums in one box set, you will it hear like it is a brand new Beatles song.

Batman Complete Television Series on Blu-ray
By rockband2 from Honolulu, HI
In addition to the Batman Complete Television Series on DVD and the other Blu-ray disc box set that I bought for Christmas, I thought why don't I buy Batman: The Complete Television Series on Blu-ray limited edition to my collection set. So that way I can keep all three of them in my closet. That's fine with me. After all, I am still a Batman fan.

Batman: The Complete Television Series on Blu-Ray
By rockband2 from Honolulu, HI
NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA-NA BATMAN! Holy Blu-Ray box set, Batman! After years or decades, it's finally here. Batman: The Complete Television Series has arrived on Blu-Ray discs box set. To those who bought the limited edition Blu-Ray box set with the Hot Wheel Batmobile toy and the trading cards will also want to buy the regular Blu-Ray box set. Batman: The Complete Television Series is fully remastered in High Definition. The picture is much better, clearer, sharper, and louder than the original 1966 version. It just like you are watching a brand new Batman television show again. I grew up watching the Batman television series. Now that it is on Blu-Ray or DVD discs, I don't have to watch it on MeTV or IFC with all commercial interruption ever again. Yes, I bought both the DVD and regular Blu-Ray discs, not the limited edition, to my collection box set. Batman is my favorite television show.
