A MONSTER AT HANDLING TRAFFIC!

I've been using Linksys AC1900 for the past couple of months and I been extremely satisfied with that product. When I got the chance to try a newer Linksys EA9500 I was ecstatic! This is one darn good router. This one essentially takes the AC1900 and throw even more features at you. First off MU-MIMO allows multiple WiFi devices at once all at the same speed. This means that as the signal is broadcast, it offers full bandwidth potential to one wireless device at a time. Paired it up with another Linksys product a Wi-Fi Range Extender with the same technology and it worked like a charm. I don't have High Speeds from my internet so I can't test the full potential of what it can handle speed wise but when I do have it handles that with ease. Another thing to note is that this router comes with three year warranty PLUS three years of tech support, which to me is amazing.
I own many tech devices and 11 WiFi devices all connected to the same network in home. I take the router out the box and followed the quick start guide. VERY SIMPLE and easy to understand, the last step takes you to their website which allow you to do an auto setup or go through the process manually (I did auto.) Just like that I was online and ready to go with not even 2 minutes of my time gone. It's pretty much the same set up process as the Linksys AC1900. Within the settings of the router there are a host of manual options to do, Such as hook up an external HDD to the USB. You can also set up an FTP if you like in which I have done. There are 8 (!) Ethernet ports on the back of this router which makes it a dream of many wired connections which I am using all 8 of them.
I have an Nvidia Shield Tablet which I set up on the 5GHz network to my gaming PC with a 980 Ti. I can stream games from the PC to the tablet without a hitch. This has always been a problem for me having lag and stuttering. It works and it works well which has me excited to continue using. Linksys EA9500 made for heavy traffic devices that is apparent. All of my devices remain at the same speed, which by the way the range is really strong. No matter where I was in the house I had all WiFi signals connected at all times especially with my work smartphone and private smartphone.
The router is nothing short of fantastic and Linksys done a great job yet again. This is THE best router I have ever used in my life and would recommend easily to friends and family.

Great Tablet if you don't expect too much.

First I want to say that I own 3 tablets. An Nvidia Shield Tablet, iPad Air, and an iPad Air 2. When I first received the Iconia One tablet I was expecting another basic android tablet but once I started using the device the more I was pretty much spot on with that theory. There are some Acer features here and there but I don't believe it's anything to make this tablet stand out. By all means it's not the worst I ever used but allow me to explain.
The build is ok providing a comfortable grip of the back. It's not the prettiest tablet but as far as looks goes it's standard as the bezels are large. The white color isn't going to save this tablet in the design department either. I wouldn't complain much as I am placing this in the budget territory.
The software is Android 5.1 it's by no means up to date but for basic everyday needs this thing works as intended. Honestly I wouldn't expect an 6.0 update anytime in the near future. This tablet only have 1GB of Ram which is sufficient enough but it could have used 2GB and would have been perfect. You will start to notice slowdown with heavier apps and may even see a "The low ram memory" notifications.
The screen is not good at all, The low resolution is THE downfall of Iconia One. I never caught a dead pixel on my device so that's good. If you aren't expecting much you can pretty much forgive this issue. Basic viewing experience is as far as you going to get with photos and videos. Again you have to factor in the price of this tablet.
The camera is bad. Don't use it, just don't. The camera is so grainy and pixelated. I guess a camera is better then no camera...which also leads to the low sounding speakers which is also not that great. There is 32GB of onboard storage which is great! And even better with the SD Slot on the device. Setup is also what you expect from Android quick and easy.
The battery life is pretty standard. I get about 8 1/2 hours which is fine with me. Doing normal web browser, videos, music. But playing any games will drain this down as any normal use. I would actually say it's probably the best thing about the tablet is that it last when I need it to.
I would say this tablet is just "OK" I would recommend this to someone with probably looking for the best budget tablet they can find or maybe even a decent first tablet. If you can deal the shortcomings you will love this thing.

Prevent dead zones around your home with the help of this Linksys Wi-Fi range extender. It works with all types of Wi-Fi routers, and it uses multi-user MIMO for speed and efficiency. This Linksys Wi-Fi range extender can be used to create a different access point or to extend the field of the router’s connection.

WiFi- Extender that works flawless!

I was pretty impressed when Linksys RE7000 showed up in the mail I was ecstatic to try it out. I paired this WiFi range extender Linksys EA7500-AC1900 to see if the product delivered and it sure does once everything is setup right. Set up is extremely easy, If you have a smartphone you can use the app to set the WiFi range extender very quickly. There isn’t much to the WiFi extender itself just a plug to the wall, a WPS button on the side, a reset button, and a Ethernet port under the bottom which is useful. I tried everything with this extender such as a PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, 3DS, iPad, iPhone, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge +, and Nvidia Shield Tablet (5.0 GHz runs flawless with gamestreaming.). Everything remain consistent and the extender didn’t let drop any connection. MU-MIMO technology seem to be in play here always keeping all of these devices at the same speed. One of the claims to this extender is that it boost WiFi-range up to 10,000 sq. ft. I was only able to test it out in a 2,300+ sq. ft home but it did work out perfectly and covered the area that would be considered “Dead spots.” To be honest I don’t know much about networking but I do know that this Linksys WiFi range extender works well for me. Definitely every claim it says it does it pretty much nails it. I have a few other Linksys products which have been working seamless and this little thing is a big compliment to those other products but need not worry. This works with all WiFi routers.

Product that delivers on everything it advertise!

I just want to start this review off by saying I never reviewed a Router before. In fact I never bought one ever and always relied on the ISP’s built in Wifi. I will say I don’t know much about routers but the basics and I am a casual user. So when I heard this was being an insider reviewer’s product, I had to jump on the chance myself. I own many tech devices and 11 Wifi devices all connected to the same network in home. I take the router out the box and followed the quick start guide which only had four steps. SUPER SIMPLE and easy to understand, the last step takes you to their website which allow you to do an auto setup or go through the process manually (I did auto.) Just like that I was online and ready to go with not even 3 minutes of my time gone. It was so easy to setup that I had to do a double take, I couldn’t believe how easy this was! (It comes with a CD but you don’t even need to use it.) Within the settings of the router there are a host of manual options to do. One that caught my eye was a way to hook up an external device. I wanted to test this out and sure enough I hooked up an external 500GB hard drive to the router and it found it with ease once I put in the IP address on another PC. Wonderful and easy feature to use. Can also set up an FTP if you like.
Right smack on the front of the box is a sliver sticker that says “Ideal for 4K TV” Instantly this had me curious and this is the first device I want to test it on. My Samsung Smart 4KTV connected to the 5GHz network with ease. Yes it even loads 4K Netflix as if it was connected to a wire. No issues there at all. It seems this one of the main selling points and it deliver. Next up I put two Chromecast on 2.4GHz network. Again no problems. Every claim on the box does what it needs to do.
I have an Nvidia Shield Tablet which I set up on the 5GHz network to my gaming PC with a 980 Ti. Finally I can stream games from the PC to the tablet without a hitch. This has always been a problem for me having lag and stuttering. It works and it works well which has me excited to continue using. The router also says it’s made for gaming and having the PS4, PS3, 3DS, and Xbox 360 in multiple rooms all going at the same time and working blows me away. NO lag during online matches. They all remain at the same speed. Which by the way the range is really strong. No matter where I was in the house I had all wifi signals connected at all times especially with my work smartphone and private smartphone.
I have to say that the Linksys Max-Stream AC1900 MU-MIMO is amazing, Linksys did an amazing job on this device that’s for sure and I STRONGLY recommend it. Every single word on the box and every single word they say the router can do, it does and does extremely well. This is a router I would also recommend to family and friends due to the very simple setup. Perhaps there are so many features on this router I may never get to use or understand fully. But from a normal user this thing is absolutely the best. Good job Linksys.

Good soundbar, Just don't expect too much.

The Insignia 2.1 is a decent soundbar at a affordable price. First off, I just want to get out the way that the Insignia’s sound quality is just good, not excellent. It is good enough to fill up a bedroom with a loud crisp sound but a living room it may fall short so keep that in mind. One reviewer is correct it doesn’t generate that much low range bass and tend to get tinny once you turn up the speaker. My unit had one of the speakers get real funny sounding with a rattle when turned up to the maximum level. Though out of all the Insignia sound products that I own this speaker probably is the best among them. The Samsung series 400 soundbar that I also own doesn’t have any of these problems but that soundbar giving a clear consistent sound no matter what the levels are. With that soundbar and subwoofer I feel like the bass for an cinematic experience is good enough, with this one it just doesn’t feel as impactful to immerse you in the experience. Then again, at the price point Insignia soundbar is it gets the job done for normal usage enough for one to be happy.
The setup is very easy and simple to do once out of the box, anyone should be able to understand how to hook up everything. It comes with the necessary cords and everything you need to get it going which I applaud Best Buy / Insignia for doing. It comes with a remote which feels extremely cheap but the words on it are very visible. If you have a universal remote I highly recommend using that instead of the stock remote. Not much is going on at the back of the soundbar with inputs but all of the ones you need are there like RCA and Optical Digital Audio. Funny enough I tried using this soundbar with my PS4 and Fallout 4 directly and I was surprised with quality as the bullets zoom’d by and sounds from the monsters gave a horrid feeling but again was lacking bass for explosions, so if you getting this for gaming in the bedroom is pretty good In my opinion.
Bluetooth is about what you expect, it works and it works very well. I did streaming from Local Music, Pandora, Google play music, and Apple Music. The devices I used on the soundbar was an iPhone 6 Plus, Nexus 6P and a iPad Air 2. This will indeed eliminated a need for a separate bluetooth speaker taking care of everything at once, which to me one of the best features of this soundbar.
My final thoughts on this I would say that the soundbar isn’t worth the full price but if you can get it on sale which is about $99 then jump on it. When it’s not on sale you maybe be better off spending a little bit more on something else. It sounds great depending on which environment you use it on and how big your living room / bedroom is. Gaming on it was good and bluetooth was great but it has its shortcomings with the bass. Overall though I am pleased with it and would make an great holiday gift for those who don’t need a huge 7.1 setup or people who don’t want to break the bank with a sound system. Out of the 4 stars it would be a solid 3.8.

Good screen protector but could be better.

Zagg Glass has always been good even on my HTC M8 so I decided to buy one for my 128GB iPhone Plus. The glass feels good and smooth to the touch and it really does protect the phone pretty well. And they shipped the device extremely quick making it on time for launch day
I'm a ducting one star because you have to apply this perfect. The edge of the Zagg glass just barely reaches the edge of the screen. Meaning if you apply this wrong you going to have a major problem with a little bit of the screen out. Thankfully I applied it perfect right out the box on the first try. I really wish they made the glass a little bit wider for error but I assume they did that so it won't interfere with bulky cases.
Overall I like it and happy with the product.

Installation was easy to put on and this thing is so much better then having a normal screen protector. It feels...Natural and responsive, it feels like the phone should feel and there is nothing better then touching real glass while protecting the screen on the phone. I have never felt a screen protector so good seriously! The product is a tad bit expensive but you get what you pay for and this is by far the best product Zagg have ever released. With a lifetime guarantee there is no reason not to have this. I think Zagg should make glass for all products from now on.
I never go back to a normal screen protector ever again.

Better Experience then the competition
on February 7, 2014

After having a frustrating Xbox One with Tomb Raider freezing and locking up on me, Need for speed: Rivals button input not working, TV IN was freezing, and a Kinect camera that hardly ever worked...I went with PlayStation 4. I'm going to try to make this quick; I'm sure many people already said what I would say here but I just wanted to point out that the PS4 is a great system and I feel like its an all around gaming console that suit my needs.
The Good:
- The Controller itself is so much better in the hand then the PS3 controller. I am finally in love with the way PlayStation controller feels in the hand. Sony have got it down right with that one.
- Some new things like the speaker on the controller is great.
- I like having a normal headphone jack on the controller so I can use any headphones.
- Games looks beautiful and I'm a PC gamer but I have to give credit where its due I'm pretty impressed that the PS3 can hold its own.
- VERY SPEEDY UI compared to the Playstation 3. This is what I like to see from Sony.
- Cross Game Chat.
- Playstation + is a vastly superior service. I can't believe I never payed for it before. But after having XBL for so long I was not expecting that kind of value of free games.
- Cheaper then the Xbox One. I know that might not seem that big of a deal but I was able to get a game and PS+ for 3 months for under the $500 I spent on the Xbox One. That to me is something great.
- Free-to-play games. even if you just buy the system, you will have something to play.
The bad:
- It is missing some apps that's on PSN for PS3 like you-tube but that doesn't take away from the experience.
- No DLNA just like the Xbox One.
- No USB ext HDD support. This is needed with games reaching 30-40 GBs
- Cheap Headset microphone. I'm glad they give you one but you are better off using something else and fast.
Overall I'm having a better time with it then I did with the Xbox One. no problems and no issues.
My Best Buy number: 2293642776
What's great about it: Price, PlayStation +, Speedy UI, Free-to-play games
What's not so great: No DLNA, No ext HDD support, Need more apps

A good console that has a LONG way to go.
on January 25, 2014
Posted by: CrysisComplex
from Calumet City
I have mix feelings about this console but it is indeed a good console none the less. There a lot of strange things with the Xbox One going on and I see this console is going to need a lot of updates to really show what future this system holds. The Xbox 360 have many features that makes it simple that this console does not. I'm just going to break this down as quickly as possible:
TV and Video apps : I do enjoy the video and TV features very much. The voice commands makes it much easier to get to switch video apps. Sometimes voice picks up and sometimes it doesn't; often times you have to repeat yourself but when it works...it works pretty well. I like having HDMI IN and watching cable TV on it but if you ask me it would have been so much better just to put a cox input in the back of the device and work with cable providers in areas. Apps pretty much needs Xbox live so you have to pay a monthly or yearly sub to use things you already pay for like Netflix and Hulu, This absolutely makes no sense when their competitors like Wii U and PS4 doesn't have these apps behind a paywall. Why do I need to pay to use You-Tube? So far app apps work without a hitch, but there are some Apps on Xbox 360 that missing from here. Also I don't even know why DLNA is missing from this console. That is something they should add back in.
OS: Its pretty much Windows 8 on a console. Some will hate it and some will love it. that depends on the person. I really don't mind it but the OS really feels like its still suck in a "BETA" stage at this time of writing. Everything is in deep layers and its not very intuitive. There have to be a better way to organize this console OS. Once Microsoft fix this it will be an awesome. I would like a way to organize my pins better personally so I can have games and apps from each other.
Games: Games looks great but I'm a PC gamer and have already been spoiled by finer graphics. That's not to say the Xbox One doesn't hold its own and the games looks awesome for what it does. Enjoyed Killer Instinct and I have to say one of my favorite on the console; pulling off combos on this game is very satisfying. Forza Motorsport 5 is a beautiful game and pretty much a great racer in my eyes. My girlfriend enjoys playing COD and Dead Rising 3.
Every game I have tried have to be installed to the hard drive, There is no way around it. You will simply have to wait until the game is ready to play. For me this is not an issue because I use Steam but I pretty much can see how console gamers would be annoyed at the wait. But then again with games like GTA V and COD Ghost on PS3 and Xbox 360 had to be installed on the HDD. That's pretty much what the future is now so you have to get use to it going into the new consoles.
Here is where my problem comes in...The Digital games in XBL marketplace is still the same price as when you buy it in stores. Amazon has Forza 5 pretty much for $50 while on Xbox Live is still sitting at $60. For them to expect us to go all Digital with out games why not have some weekly sales already? if you want to be like Steam show some promise to the gamers that you can pull this off Microsoft. Otherwise Digital will always be dead in the water.
Design: Its a black box and yes it looks like a VCR. Which doesn't bother me at all because at-lease now this console is well ventilated from the Original Xbox 360. What bothers me is the glossy shiny black on this console and its really annoying. It baffles me why they didn't go with a Matte color all the way around. This thing is a massive dust collector and after 2 days of use it already collecting dust upon it.
Kinect 2.0: I like using it to be honest. When it works...it works well. My girlfriend and I often find ourself using the voice commands the most. Like I said before sometimes a repeat is necessary but I do see updates coming in the future to fix these problems. None of the games I tried that used Kinect 2.0 really work that well with motion controls but the one app that did work perfectly was Xbox Fitness which I love using. Kinect Sports Rivals was not a good example and it was more frustrating then fun.
Overall: Yes, The Xbox One is a good console and its really solid. I have to hand Microsoft that even after all the terrible PR they are going through. You really get a lot for your money....but to me this console isn't worth the price tag of $500. I would wait until the Xbox One is $400 or less because truthfully the Xbox 360 and PS3 would still tie you over for at-lease 2-3 years. While the Graphics are great they are nothing earth-shattering that you would need to have RIGHT NOW. This console needs A LOT more updates and I do mean a lot before it can really shine but I believe once it receives that treatment this will be one of the best consoles out there even with the negativity surrounding it at this moment. I will not be returning my Xbox One because I see there is a pretty big future and promise as long as Microsoft stick with it.

This only has 1 hdmi input? So I can’t hook up my Apple TV n my PlayStation thru the sound bar? Or does it just pay to go with HTZ9F

Only one HDMI input on the soundbar. You can't hook up two HDMI IN sources for the soundbar.

If you want sound from all of your devices connected to the TV to play through the soundbar, You will need to use your TV's HDMI ARC INPUT. If your HDTV has ARC/eARC.
