ASUS' new ROG Zephyrus G14 (2024) is downright a perfect example of what a gaming laptop should be today. I have to get this out of the way. I love it, I enjoy what ASUS did with this model. The most shocking to me? because it’s thin and lightweight for a gaming machine. It’s so impressive to me that I keep picking up the laptop. I’ve never felt any gaming laptop like this. Just carrying it from room to room; it was just refreshing to see a gaming laptop packed in this size. The 14” size is wonderful for gaming, especially on the OLED screen.
The design: It’s gorgeous and isn’t too out of place for a gaming laptop. Mostly looks like a basic laptop and I wouldn’t be too ashamed to use this out at a coffee shop. There is a giant “slash” on the laptop lid that glows and flashes with white LEDs. It’s not ugly by any means but would be distracting to those around. This can be turned off in the armory crate. There are little touches such as the Zephyrus logo on the back of the laptop that looks great.
Vents on the laptop are directed so they won’t blow heat on the OLED panel. The keyboard is about as good as most Zephyrus laptops and feels about the same travel distance. There is no single-key RGB which is fine in this case. To be honest with you the RGB here doesn’t really “fit” with the color of the laptop and would just use white RGB. The lights on the keyboard get very bright.
This silky smooth glass trackpad is large and useable. No issues with it so far and fingers stay in place. CNC Aluminum chassis feels pretty premium around the laptop not that this was an issue with ASUS before but here it feels champion. Perfectly complements the laptop.
Again one of the shining stars is the fact that this gaming machine is lightweight. Like really light for a laptop that can game. Using it for basic tasks on a lap wasn’t cumbersome either. Very comfortable to use.
The OLED screen: This is the beauty right here. The 14” OLED screen never gets old to look at. Colors pop like crazy, high contrast is eye-melting. To live in an age where there is OLED on such a portable powerful laptop for gaming makes me proud. I promise you every game on this screen looks amazing. No matter what game I played on this 14-inch screen, it just looked great. Huge fan of OLED screens in general but it’s paired with a value-rich computer. 2880 x 1800 @ 120hz is a good sweet spot for the new Zephyrus.
Sound: Finally, speakers that are good on a gaming laptop. Not sure why it took us so long to get here but I do appreciate the 6 speaker setup this laptop has. The volume gets loud enough to hear yourself gaming at least. This Zephyrus has such clear rich sound quality from the models I’ve had. Total improvement in this area.
Performance: The laptop is great for gaming and creative work. AMD R9-8945HS & RTX 4060 perform as they should and are a great GPU for this screen size. While this laptop has a version with the RTX 4070, I feel the price justifies this model more. This is good for 1440p gaming but it’s even better running @ 1080p with the added benefit of playing the latest games. Thermals are in line keeping things cool on the machine.

Comes with 1TB of storage, that’s great and should be the bare minimum that should come in laptops. It’s enough space to get you playing a few games.
Asus gaming products mostly use “Armory Crate” software. This is where you can fine-tune your PC settings, but this is also where you can get updates. I advise you to download updates to your bios after setting up the PC. No strange corks but highly recommended. Microsoft also throws in a free month of Xbox Game Pass so you can immediately get started with gaming.
My overall experience was awesome coming from an older PC gamer. There is so much to love in this year’s Zephyrus at a really valuable price. Extremely capable of handling its gaming with the added advantage of it being easy to take with me places. It has a great CPU and GPU combo, a lustful-looking screen, great sound, and a nice build all at a super reasonable price point. Another good laptop from ASUS for gaming.

Great consistent shaver.

Philips Norelco 2600 is a handy shaver to has around 50 minutes of run time with a great design that feels good in the hand. Each shave has been consistent, smooth, and clean to the touch. What I like about this model is that it comes with a USB-A charging cable as opposed to a normal A/C. The shaver is safe to use with or without shaving cream. Cleaning out the shaver head wasn’t a daunting task. There is a pop-out trimmer so you can maintain sideburns and your mustache.
The shaver heads feel nice on the skin and it’s very comfortable. Using it for about a week there are no complaints and it comes with a travel case. It doesn’t take long to change up. A 5-minute charge will give you one good shave. This is a nice daily shaver I like using so far. It’s pretty simple yet powerful enough to trim my long beard. Anti corrosion 4D blades get every groove it possibly can upon the face. There wasn’t a lot of pressure against the skin with it being wet or dry shave. Shaver has a nice anti-slip grip. Great product overall. Just the right amount of features to have in a shaver. Powerful, versatile, and inexpensive.

NINJA hot & iced XL Coffee maker with rapid cold brew has made fantastic coffee cold or hot. This is a simple-to-use coffee maker with easy settings. Rich and delicious brew came out perfect each time.
There are 4 styles of brewing. Classic, Rich, Over ice, and cold brew. It makes 12 cups with the included glass carafe which sits nicely with the coffee maker. Setting it up where easy, comes with a filter and a scoop that sits flush. The water reservoir is quick to remove and easy to clean.
So far I enjoyed the iced coffee and cold brew settings the most. It was pleasant having a rapid cold brew at home. Made a nice Carmel with a cream cold brew that put a smile on my face. Ninja did great with this product adding a single-cup foldaway platform. There is an intelligent warming plate that keeps the coffee hot for up to 4-hours.
At the end of the day, I’m not disappointed with the offerings this coffee maker gives. I truly LOVE things that make life simple and this is a very easy & yet intelligent brew maker that doesn’t make things complicated. It does with it does best and that’s making coffee. The design language of Ninja products doesn’t hurt either. 5 out of 5 stars.

Cosori Rice Cooker is a great slow cooker as well

Cosori Rice Cooker is one of the easiest slow cookers to use with very few settings to get confused. With 3x settings for rice, slow cooker, and steam. Setting up wasn’t difficult to do and appreciate the convenience of washing the lid. This is quite a large rice cooker but it's half the size of most pressure cookers that I have. The settings on the cooker are touch-sensitive.
I’m very proud Cosori also included a cookbook that helps out cooking for the slow cooker and steamer. (The cookbook doesn’t have a standard Beef Stew recipe. But I used the settings for Beef and Broccoli instead and it came out excellent.) The food cooks fast and comes out very tasty and it’s easy to wash out. This company knows convenience from my initial impressions and their product gets straight to the point.
It’s not anything to dislike here because it cooks rice perfectly each time. Steam / Slow Cooker settings make delicious and delightful meals. The Rice Cooker also comes with a Steam basket and spoon for the rice. If you are terrible at making rice, this is the easiest way to do it. 5/5 stars.

Nacon Revolution 5 Pro Wireless Controller is the best I've used in 2024 so far that gets so much right at this price point. The feature list is insane with remappable buttons, weights, bluetooth audio, and Hall Effect technology that ends joystick drift. I want to note that this controller does not connect directly to the console via BT just to get the question out of the way.
The controller feels great in the hand especially since you can add weighted dumbells to the controller. The ribbed grips stay firm in the hand while the design of the controller looks nice which extends to the triggers. I appreciate the black soft texture coating as some white controllers become dirty over some time, Nacon got as close to a Playstation 5 controller as they could and they did a good job with button placement. Love the LED ring around the Anglog stick that gives it a nice touch of color. I also like where the micro shortcut buttons are located and placed. The Revolution 5 Pro works with PS4, PS5, and PC and I have tested all systems listed with no issues. Using it on PC it acts/maps like an Xbox controller on Steam and most games.
There are six interchangeable joystick heads and adaptative trigger stoppers with a switch in the back of the controller. This is a wireless/wired controller that comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable and two separate D-Pads which I changed for my playthroughs of gaming with an external microphone and USB dongle. There are more embedded within the app that you can download. There is no shortage of features if you looking for a pro controller.
One of the controller's standing strengths is that it can pair with Bluetooth earbuds or a headset. This is one of the best "Pro" controllers I've used this year and taps the right features honestly. It feels solid like a controller in this category should, just nice to grip and hold firmly when playing games. easily to me to recommend to anyone doing esports.

Brother DCP-L2640DW printer is one of the fastest printers I’ve ever used. For black and white copies this thing does a fantastic job with all the features that it has. Wireless printing worked so effortlessly with the WiFi network; that’s because this was one of the easiest printers to set up. The Brothers app gave me a little trouble setting up but manually used the LCD screen to connect to WiFi.
DCP-L2640DW looks nice inside an office and there is a fax feature here as well. Making. Copies of a document were less than a few seconds with each print. Laptops, Tablets, and cell phones are all connected to the printer without a problem. The packaging was perfect and nothing was broken inside the printer when received. I’ve had a good time printing with this one for B&W documentation. It’s one of the best if you are looking for a printer without color and prints at an insane speed.
It’s perfect for a printer and that alone deserves 5/5 stars. I never had a printer where I set it up with the speed and quickest that I did. No issues concerning WiFi connectivity. As far as ease of use go this is up there on my list. Without being a tech guy I would recommend this printer to anyone.

CRUCIAL 2TB X9 Pro for Max hits the speeds advertised. I also like the design of this Tiny little portable SSD! Small enough to put on a keyring and take with you anywhere. So far I put all of my media I could want on this little device. Taking the advice from the manual, I’ve used the supplied USB-C giving me the optimal speeds. Using it with a MacBook 1,050 MB/s read and write.
I’ve packed this little SSD with media of all kinds. Games, photos, music files, etc. this SSD is made for MAC only but was able to test it with Windows 11. Same speeds on a different system. Crucial does make a Windows version of the X9. It’s not much to say about this adorable SSD. It’s super awesome! Design looks great with a Mac, like that it’s small, it’s quick, and it works. Best Buy allowed me to test this product and while there are tons of SSDs out there. This one is one of the best I’ve used this year. External wise. 5 out of 5 stars. This is a brand I wholeheartedly trust when it comes to storing some media.

Hercules DJ Control Inpulse T7 DJ Mixer is a very intuitive system. One that shouldn’t intimidate beginners going for their dreams of DJing. what I like about this product is it has tutorials so you don’t become overwhelmed with all the controls on board. For those who want a quick review; I love that this is lightweight enough to carry to parties and once the retractable feet are up a laptop can fit right underneath. This is pretty cool.
There isn’t much in the box besides the product, a USB-C cord, a power adapter, and instructions. There isn’t a quickstart guide and is a hassle putting in The website address to get the software you need. this could’ve been circumvented with a QR code which would’ve helped beginners out a lot quicker. The system requirements are also pretty high for PCs:
Windows 10, 11 (64-bit) / macOS 11 or higher Processor: Recent Intel Core™ i5, 8 GB RAM or more, OpenGL 2.0 graphics or higher Hard drive space: 1 GB for DJUCED / 5 GB for Serato DJ, and Internet access. This also needs a Mac/PC to run the powerful software.
The setup wasn’t a problem and was pretty easy connecting to the PC. Inpluse T7 LEDs across the board lit up and were ready to go. Again, you must download drivers and the supported software which is DJuced and Serato DJ. Both are free once you sign up for an account. You can set the tempo with 10 can faders, EQ, gain, volume, and more. On the back of the device, there is an XLR MASTERS, RCA, and mic.
One of the best features here is mixing, and I love using the platters over and over again. The platters on this is motorized. They just feel so smooth and elegant reversing. The equipment does come with real 7-inch vinyls to give you that feel on your fingertips of mixing just like back in the day. Every knob feels well built and nothing feels like it’s gonna slip off or break. I can’t tell you how much they put into this device, especially someone who is a fan of DJing. This has got to be one of the best well-constructed devices I have used in a while, even moving it, and bumping one of the edges on the corner didn’t seem to damage it.
Comes with two slip mats that also provide a grip tailored to your spins. This is just one nice DJ controller hands down. There is an upgradeable fader section and an FX section. The retractable feet are really good for desk setups that like to be clean. Hercules DJ Control Impulse Mixer so far was pretty fun to use and DJing was nice to try! The software wasn’t as cumbersome as I initially thought it would be. A professional should easily be able to use this controller without any problems I should say.
I had so much fun using Inpulse T7, I also had fun learning how to DJ in my spare time. The software seems robust and powerful. Like the Beatmatch guide and grab pads as well. No issues with me and would recommend this to any music artist or DJs.

The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL is an awesome esports keyboard! I can’t praise this enough as there many features that make this a good standout product. First; it’s lightweight and can easily carry it with you to locations. I love this thing honestly with profile swaps and a handful of presets like “racing” makes it much easier to use a keyboard on racing games. Or you can use the WASD keys for the left analog stick. There are many ways to use this keyboard when playing games on PC it’s simply one of the best.
This is an Esports keyboard to its core. A Keyboard with a Rapid Trigger and adjustable Actuation has a ton of functionality. Adjustable Actuation can go from shallow to deep and LED lights up how far the key is pressed. Nice. It’s a beautiful keyboard that serves its purpose. Uses Razer’s Gen-2 switches that are comfortable to type on and do look good matching Razer’s Chroma software. The RGB always looks great.
Most Razer products match, and this matches beautifully with any of their products. This one is no slouch, and it matches beautifully. It’s best to update the keyboard firmware to get the best out of the Huntsman V3. This company also gives 2 year warranty so you should feel pretty confident about your purchase.
Playing games on it was phenomenal, especially racing games something I’m into. The rapid trigger adjustments were great for first-person shooters. There is a super high sensitivity mode that gives you a twitch player's dream. Overall, it’s amazing. I love it with no reservations. Being an esports keyboard it has the right size and weight, it’s quick and responsive, has multiple modes for profiles, strong style keyboard, and has many uses with its functionality.
My fingers can quickly get to keys without a number pad blocking my way. This is a solid 5 out of 5 keyboard for gaming and one I would wholeheartedly recommend. There aren't a lot of keyboards I'm happy with but every keyboard this year Razer released has been amazing. Really robust products that stand out on their own.

I had fun using this smart doorbell. It was pretty much easy to set up just like any other deadbolt you put on the door. With some setup through an app. It was really easy to work with. I have no complaints and this is definitely a five-star product before I go into detail.
If you know how to put a deadbolt on set up, shouldn’t take you no more than 15 to 30 minutes. Everything was standard and he gave you physical keys which are devices. It looks like any standard deadbolt, especially in this color silver.
My favorite part about this smart lock is that it gives you two key cards that you can tap on to the lock to let yourself in. This allows you the give cards to guess who would want one physically like a credit card. It was fine just tapping the door and letting yourself in without a hassle. I like using this because when you have a bunch of groceries in your hand, it’s nice to just tap to get into your home.
The app is pretty standard but above all
It allows you to give keys to guests through the phone as well. Just use the wallet app on iOS! I love this this is perfect for giving and revoking key privileges. It comes with a keypad so you can enter a code on your own if you forget any of your keys to your home/condo/apartment. I can see this feature being useful in my case. Oh, and you can use your Apple Watch.

I don’t see any issues with this product and he took care of all safeguards. Giving you multiple ways to get into your home. It’s just easier to use this device and I love it wholeheartedly. One of the most useful devices I own and enjoy. I think what makes this stand-out home product is just how easy it is. Letting nothing get in the way. It works with Alexa and Siri. Nice product.
