Step Up is a brilliant movie with amazing choreography, plot, music, actors, and special features. Channing Tatum is not only a great actor but he is a great dancer along with many of the other dancers in this movie. A Must See Film!
John Williams always produces great music and this soundtrack is no exception. Starting with Sayuri's Theme and all the way to Chairman's Waltz (the "Hummingbird routine from the show So You Think You Can Dance!) each track brings depth and a good mix of instrumental sound.
What's great about it: Great mix of sounds, music has depth according to the scenes of the movie they apply to
Despite the controversy surrounding Britney Spears, the album is pretty good. Tracks 2,3,4,7,8, and 10 are absolutely great. The other tracks fail to live up to the rest of the album, but overall the album is worth it.
What's great about it: Tracks are upbeat and great to dance or workout to
What's not so great: The music isn't consistent (A great song accompanied by an alright song right after, etc)
I've had this album for a few years now and believe it does not get old on the ears. All of the tracks have something different to offer, and the music overall has a calming yet uplifting affect.
This is a good soundtrack, and again, great for HP and classical music. However,I feel that it does not live up to the previous Harry Potter soundtracks.
What's great about it: Music has integrity to the story line
What's not so great: Some of the tracks sound similar
This album is very mixed in that there are great songs, and songs that let the album down as a whole. However, if it's bought on sale, I feel it is still worth it.
I bought this album years ago, and at the time I did like it. Even now, I still love hearing some of the tracks such as "Floorfiller" and "You're the One". But this album isn't anything spectacular.
What's great about it: Great for Radio Disney Listeners
What's not so great: Some tracks seem childish now
This was one of the earliest CDs I bought, and at the time, I did like it. Over time, I seem to have outgrown many of the tracks. However, I still love hearing certain tracks like "Move it Like This", "Kryptonite", and "Pop".
What's great about it: Great for Radio Disney Listeners
What's not so great: Some of the tracks can easily seem childish later
Even though I've had this album for a few years now, I didn't think to review it until recently. The album is AWESOME overall, the only two tracks I didn't like as much as the others were "The Girl is Mine" and "She's Out of My Life". Rest in Peace MJ: King of Pop and Master of the Moonwalk.
