This is a great, fast paced, thrill ride of a movie! My wife and I love it! We're huge fans of Jason Statham, we have all of his movies. And almost all of them are fast paced and hardcore, I love it! This is one of his best, great plot, great cast, great special effects and great intensity! Enough said, buy this movie! I highly recommend it! Also, some of his other great films I recommend are Revolver, Cellular, Bank Job, Crank 1 and 2, and Transporter 1 and 3 (2 wasn't very good)."

Sylvester Stallone is a time-sleeper with a twist as he chases a vicious killer into the future in this humorous sci-fi thriller from Warner Home Video. Presented in the original 2.35:1 widescreen theatrical aspect ratio (anamorphically enhanced for 16 x 9 TVs) and with a closed-captioned English Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack, this release also features an additional Spanish Dolby Digital Mono track and optional English, Spanish, and French subtitles. Extra features include a feature-length commentary track with director Marco Brambilla and producer Joel Silver, production notes, and theatrical trailers.

"I've seen all of Danny Boyles' movies and I'd have to say this is by far the best of them. Being his first Sci-Fi movie, I thought he did an great job at making it, as well as making it into my top 5 favorite Sci-Fi movies. Though the story is kinda funny and not exactly what would really happen, you have to remember, this is science fiction. Can't wait to see if Mr. Boyle does another Sci-Fi sometime else."

Employing a novel premise and utilizing the comic skills of Steve Martin and Eddie Murphy, Bowfinger remains one of Hollywood's wittiest and most enjoyable attempts at self-satire. Universal's DVD edition is a superb realization of the film's strengths, delivering excellent sound and picture quality and a host of worthy extra features. Director Frank Oz is not known for his visual flamboyance, but the Tinseltown settings do look appropriately glossy on this anamorphic disc. The sound quality is equally high and features both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Surround Sound audio tracks. It is the special features on this disc that make it unusually impressive, and they can be accessed from a clever and likeable menu screen. The "Spotlight on Location" featurette is a useful background to the movie, lasting around 24 minutes. Other basic features include the original theatrical trailer, production notes, and some very thorough cast and filmmaker information. Although they total only eight minutes between them, the two best additions are the deleted scenes and outtakes footage. The deleted scenes include an entirely different version of the cast and crew meeting which takes place early on in the film, as well as a funny revelation as to how Martin's character gets the address of Murphy's reclusive movie star. The outtakes include some amusing mishaps on set and some brilliant ad-libbing from the two stars. Director Oz provides the feature commentary, and surprisingly, he concentrates on the technical side of moviemaking, revealing several tricks of the trade when it comes to filming comedy. All in all, this amounts to an exceptional DVD, one that should further enhance Bowfinger's reputation as a first-class comedy.

"This is an ok family/kids movie to watch. It has a lot of funny moments to keep both young and old entertained. But for an older audience, the story line is predictable and even annoying at times. Also it is not really a role that Ice Cube plays well. Its an ok movie and good for some laughs

This movie was a real treat for me because it has both my favorite alien creatures in it. I remember watching alien and being so scared to go to bed at night. I loved predator and all the predator movies. So this movie was such a great thriller because it include both this creatures fighting for superiority. It is such a great movie! Alien vs Predator: On which side are you on?"

Alien vs. Predator crashes to Earth in this full-screen edition of 20th Century Fox's long-awaited intergalactic boxing match. With a full-screen image and both 5.1 Dolby and DTS tracks, the look and sound are impressive, offering a fitting presentation of the film's best qualities -- its dark photography and loud soundtrack. Extras on the disc begin with a director and actors commentary, featuring Paul W.S. Anderson and his stars Lance Henriksen and Sanaa Lathan. Sadly, even if you stand by the film, you still might be annoyed at the level of praise that gets thrown around throughout the track. From Henriksen waxing Anderson's car every other second to both of them going gaga over the very un-incredible Lathan, the talk feels more like a bubbly love session than anything else. The other commentary comes from visual effects supervisor John Bruno and creature effects designers/creators Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff Jr. and it's informative as to what effects are what, but good for little else. Not only do you have to put up with both sets of effects people competing over credit for certain shots, but there's also a bit of ego-driven babble from Gillis as he continues to hold his mantle as the official Alien actor (this being his third film in the monster's shoes). The rest of the extras begin with an extended version of the film, though don't be expecting the R-rated violent cut of the film, which Anderson was rumored to have been made to cut down weeks before the release. Instead, you get an extended opening scene of a Predator hunting down an Antarctic colonist in 1904 that is about 90 seconds long -- and that's it. You wonder why they didn't file that just in the deleted scenes section, which isn't too much to call home about in the first place. A 22-minute making-of is also supplied, though even that is basically made up of footage already released on the web before the movie's release. Other than that, only one other feature stands out from the rest of the extras, including a ridiculous Superbowl spot and other Fox TV trailers, and that is the gallery of Alien vs. Predator comic covers from Dark Horse Comics. With 35 covers inside the gallery, this ode to all of the various mini-series is one of the most comprehensive things on the entire disc, which in a way, sums up this entire release in a sad kind of way.
