I use a leaf blower year round, and the switch to a battery operated one versus corded was better than expected. There was no loss of power, and an increase in features. This unit has a variable trigger and a cruise control lever where you can adjust the speed and not have to hold down the trigger. There's also a boost function for extra power and the blower tube has an end attachment to narrow the air stream for greater control. There's also a built in clip if you like using a shoulder strap, but that is not included. The stated run time is about 30 minutes on high, and running it until it stopped the quick charger took about 30 minutes to reach a full charge. I have endless uses for a blower such as this including clearing light amounts of snow off the steps and drive, blowing spiderwebs off the house and eves, cleaning out computer cooling syncs, blowing out dryer vents and cold air returns in my HVAC system (with a shop vac turned on at the other end) and of course blowing leaves and yard waste! The unit isn't heavy and is very well balanced and easy to control. And of course the 80 volt battery can be used in at least 50 other Greenworks' products. And of course since it's powered by a battery, there's no cumbersome extension cords, gas or other maintenance concerns! The brushless electric motor is maintenance free and the unit has a 4 year limited warranty.

Chromebooks were launched in 2011 as an alternative to netbooks (for anyone that remembers those) and I’ve used them since then! The big change for me was when they became available with a 360-degree hinge, and I could have an all-in-one unit instead of a table with a keyboard case. So now I have an all-in-one portable device with superior battery life, that is versatile enough for entertainment purposes and to use to remote into my work system at a price that can’t be beaten in my opinion.
The unit runs Chrome OS and comes with pre-loaded apps that can be deleted, and access to thousands of apps through the Google apps store. These are Chrome OS apps, but you can find a way online to allow the unit to run in Linux mode if you want to install traditional Android APKs.
The display is 11.6” HD 1366 x 768 with multi-touch that has Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass. As stated, you can use the machine as a standard screen with a keyboard, as a tablet, or in “tent mode” or a reverse tablet (rest it on the keyboard) for entertainment purposes. There are also numerous mice you can purchase that will work with Chrome touchpads aren’t your preference.
Included is an Octa-Core ARM MediaTek processor which accounts for the long battery life and the boot time is a stated 8 seconds! There is 64GB onboard storage and 4GB of ram, but with cloud storage and a USB-C and USB-A port, there are options for portable storage.
The stated battery life is up to 15 hours. In the past 3 days, I’ve used the Chromebook at least 3 hours per day and I still have 37% or 4 hours and 19 minutes left at 70% screen brightness.
The only item on my “wish list” would be a back lit keyboard, but then the battery life would take a hit. If I end up using it in the dark very often, I’ll purchase one of the many keyboard films available for it with reflective characters.

This is the 1st groomer I’ve ever had that didn’t need the blades oiled. The stainless-steel blades are oil free, and I could never figure out when to oil the other ones. And since they are stainless steel, they can be washed with no fear of rust. It’s also the 1st trimmer I’ve ever used that didn’t come with a power supply. There is a UCB-C charging cord included, but you need your own power block.
The stated run time is 2.8 hours after 70 minutes of charging, but there’s a quick charge feature that gives you enough power after 5 minutes for 1 shave and it has a charge indicator light. The groomer includes attachments for your face, head and body and a pouch for storage and transport. The SWFT BMX style bike is a Class 2 e-bike – Throttle e-bike with an optional pedal-assist with a assist speed limited to 20mph. (Please check your local laws regarding what class of e-bike is allowed where.) In other words, the motor will only assist you up to 20mph but since you can still pedal it’s possible you could attain a higher speed. As stated, this is a BMX style e-bike. In other words it looks like a BMX bike, but isn’t designed for “tricks” like jumping or freestyle/stunt riding. BMX bikes generally tend to be a 1 size, and you don’t requiring “fitting” like a standard city/road/touring bicycle. The only adjustments available are the seat height/angle and the angle of the handlebars. This model bike is not designed for full leg extension while seated whether it’s an e-bike version or not.
The bike comes partially assembled with the required tools, except for an adjustable wrench. I’ve worked in a bike shop for years assembling and repairing bicycles, and I can honestly say this was the easiest “out of the box” assembly I’ve ever completed. The 1st step is to unpack the box, and attach and adjust the handlebars using the included hardware. The rear wheel/motor assembly is already installed, so you only have to attach the front wheel using the included safety washers and nuts. There is no front brake so there are no other adjustments required other than making sure the wheel is straight before tightening it down. Axle foot pegs are also included should you choose to install them. Next you install the pedals which are labeled “left” and “right”. The bike has a rear disc brake, and every single disc brake bike I’ve ever assembled required adjustments to the mechanism…but not this one. I don’t know if I got lucky or if this is the norm, but based on how well the “pre-installed” parts were assembled I would guess this is normal. The seat post is then inserted and tightened at your preferred height, and the front and back angle can be adjusted. The all you must do is mount the included reflectors, double check all the nuts and bolts are tight, charge the bike, put on a helmet (please) and ride! I’m using the bike to commute to/from work, so I utilized the braze-on (pre-drilled) mounts in the rear frame to install a cargo rack to hold my computer bag. This is a great all around get me there and back and have fun doing it e-bike!
This e-bike has a hub drive motor in the back wheel that has 3 power levels. Level 1 provides about 20% motor power and level 3 is 100%. Unlike a mid-drive e-bike motor, How fast you pedal has no relation to how much the motor assists you but it can increase your speed and extend your battery life. You can ride the bike with no power or pedal with power assistance or just start pedaling to engage the motor and then stop pedaling and let the motor do all the work.
The power control module allows you to turn the display on, adjust your assist level from 1 to 3, odometer functions including per trip, distance in Miles or KM, battery status, cycling time, switch for the integrated headlight, speed and a walk assist mode to make pushing your bike easier. The throttle also has a cruise control feature! The stated charging time for the battery is 6 hours and the max range is 35 miles between charge, but that will vary significantly depending on how much you use the motor. While there is an integrated headlight and front and rear reflectors, I’d strongly urge you to invest in a rear taillight and use both the front and rear lights night or day!

This TV is described as having a “Countertop Design”. What that means is that is has a very small “footprint” due to a built-in stand and can also mount to a standard VESA mount. The depth measurement is only 3.75” deep, and it’s 25” wide by 15.75” high. All cords attach via an inset in the back, so they don’t take any additional space.
The TV can connect to a wireless or wired network and has a WebOS operating system so there’s an integrated web browser and you can download others. There is an included app store as well as LG Channels which is like many free streaming services. The remote is comfortable, but it is not backlit. The buttons are small for large hands, and it’s not very intuitive to use other than the volume and channel up/down controls.

I’ve always wanted a 14” laptop that was powerful enough for “play” yet stayed cool enough to use on my lap for travel work and lightweight with a long battery life! To begin with the screen is bright and “pops”. I really appreciate the extra screen real estate it has, since it's 2560x1600 instead of 2560x1440. An added bonus is that it has adaptive sync, so there's no screen tearing in sub-120fps situations. Weighing in at less than 4 pounds, it’s one of the lighter laptops I’ve owned and certainly the most powerful.
But since this is marketed as a gaming laptop, let’s focus on that. My experience with gaming laptops with less power than this one, is that they get too hot to use if you’re “power gaming”. While you may not be comfortable resting this on your lap in full game mode (and it would block the intake cooling vents), the chassis and keyboard area remain comfortable to the touch. For non “heavy” gaming use, it’s fine using it on your lap while commuting. I’ve attached screen shots of the 3DMARK Time Spy Score and Hitman 2 Miami and Mumbai, with all settings on ultra-running at the full screen resolution. It was allowed to warm up and is running at actual gaming performance speed with the system fan set to turbo mode. The speakers are great to the point where I could detect the direction of footsteps in Warzone.
The responsiveness of the keys is average at best, and the backlighting is not that bright. With the 100’s if not thousands of setting configurations available via the built in control program.

Finally a mouse that can game as long as you!

Let me start this review with…IT HAS A STATED 90 HOUR GAMING BATTERY LIFE!
Even with the super long battery life, this mouse only weighs a stated 63 grams which lead me to discover my kitchen scale is off…or the mouse it lighter than stated! Unlike many gaming mice the weight is not adjustable.

It’s simply comfortable…you’ll wear out before the battery dies…and in my case before my hand cramped up! I have a “normal” hand if there is such a thing, and it feels like it was made for it. Oddly enough my wife has much smaller hands and she said the same thing.
There are 5 total buttons including 2 thumb buttons, and all are programable. The side buttons are upgraded to version 3, and are much more responsive and comfortable. The mouse charges via USB-C with the included braided cord, and connects via an RF dongle with the option to purchase their hyper polling dongle which allows for a 4,000hz polling rate. The tracking is optical and adjustable up to 30,000 dpi. It’s sold as an ergo mouse with a claw/palm/fingertip grip, but it isn’t like the large traditional ergo gamin mice. As an added bonus, the mouse also comes with a 2-year warranty.
The mouse is light, responsive, comfortable and has phenomenal battery life! What more could you want for gaming!

The best gaming (and office) keyboard to date!

I normally use an ergo keyboard, but the new Corsair K100 Air Wireless caught my eye. I’m a fan of low-profile keyboards, but I dislike the traditional mushy membrane keyboards and as we all know they’re just not up to the task of gaming. This keyboard has CHERRY MX Ultra Low-Profile mechanical keys that are tactile. The specs as stated are 65g actuation force, 0.8mm actuation distance and 1.8mm total travel. I haven’t tested these specs because some things must be taken at face value…but the tactile experience and key response is fantastic. The keyboard also has NKRO – which means it can register all the keys being pressed at once and has 100% anti-ghosting which really isn’t an issue given it’s a NKRO keyboard! There are 4 dedicated media keys and 4 dedicated macro keys with onboard macro recording. Through the iCUE software the individual RGB lit keys can be programmed per key. The 8MB of onboard storage allows you to have up to 50 onboard keyboard profiles and 20 layers of lighting effects! The rear supports allow for 2 tilt heights in addition to flat on the desk.
Aesthetically the keyboard’s aluminum frame and integrated status lights make this the super sleek (insert your favorite extravagant sports car brand) of keyboards! The keyboard is rechargeable (3 – 5 hours depending on use) and has a stated battery life of 50 hours with the RGB lighting and up to 200 hours without it. It has an on/off switch and charges via the included USB-C cord which also enables wired functionality while charging. When using it with the high quality braided wired USB, you get the benefit of their AXON 8,000Hz hyper-polling. The faster the polling…the faster the response you’re your keystroke! In this case the advanced speed made no noticeable difference in the CPU usage. Additionally, the keyboard can connect via Bluetooth or via the “Hyper-fast sub-1ms 2.4GHz CORSAIR SLIPSTREAM WIRELESS Technology”. In other words, it works where you want it and how you want it! Oddly enough given how many cutting-edge features included, the one that made me smile most was the dongle storage on the back edge of the keyboard! No more plastic covers to pry off the back that eventually break!
The embedded lights in the keyboard indicate wireless connectivity, encryption for wireless connectivity, battery indicator, macro indicator, num lock, caps lock, scroll lock and windows lock indicator. In other words just about everything you’d’ want to know at a glance. Plus the Slipstream wireless adapter is a multi-point unit that will work with more than one compatible device.
The keyboard works with Windows PC and Apple Macs as well as select Xbox and PlayStation units and tablets or phones with recent versions of iOS or Android.
The bottom line is that this keyboard works better than any other I’ve owned out of the box, but when you take the time to read the manual and explore all the features it transforms into a gaming (and office) multi tool that does everything and exceeds reasonable and unreasonable expectations.

The ideal earbud office & leisure solution!

To begin with, if you are like me and generally use 1 earbud at a time...this is the set for you! Many earbuds advertise x number of hours use prior to re-charging, but limit you to only the right one for 1 bud use. With these earbuds you can use one until it needs to be recharged (stated time 7 hours) and then switch to the other while the first one is recharging! Additionally you can get an our of power with 10 minutes of charge time! The stated battery time is 28 hours including the case recharging. They have improved the ANC feature dramatically by combining the feedforward (outside the ear microphones) and feedback (inside the ear microphones) technology to isolate outside noises and the noise of your voice for a total of 6 microphones. This enables you to here office "talk" or the surrounding sounds outside without sacrificing sound or voice quality. I used these in a crowded café and even while riding my bike and was able to hear callers and be clearly understood. Music playback in great also. You can pair up to 6 devices and be connected to 2 at a time! It works with Alexa (built in), Siri and Google voice assistant and has Google fast pair and Microsoft (Windows 10 or higher) swift pair enabled. All of the controls are fully customizable through the MyControls feature in the Jabra Sound+ app. This unit has a 2 year warranty, and INCLUDES a small wireless charging pad, 3 sets of EarGels, a charging case and a USB-A to USB-C cable.

There's not a lot to say about wall charges in general, other than they work or they don't. The differences revolve around the size, the heat they generate and what they'll work for! This charger works for every device I have and has a small form factor and stays COOL! Using 1 port you can get up to 64W Max output, and using 2 ports you can get 20W plus 45W max output which varies by device! Per the description and based on my experience this can power/charge a variety of laptops, tablets, phones, speakers, watches and ear buds/phones as long as they have a USB-C power cord. I've had no issues powering any combinations of my laptop, table, phone and earbuds at the same time with power left over to charge! The unit has a foldable wall plug so it won't snag in a bag, and 1 year warranty! But since I've never had an Insignia branded product fail, I don't expect to have to use it! There are no cables included in this unit, but since it can be used for so many devices and doesn't require a cable to charge I consider that a positive.

The instructions are clear that calibration is required for accurate tracking since everyone has different length strides. Did you calibrate it? If so...how much "off" was it?

I bought this phone after reading the what seemed to be amazing reviews. I was slightly disappointed after the third day of having my phone when it would reset itself about 5 times a day due to it over heating. Bearing with it i kept the phone. The phone eventually stopped over heating but with that problem going away, another arose. the camera. No matter what you take a picture of it comes out grainy and slightly blurred. I, being a photographer, was highly disappointed at this. The battery power was another concern. I am on my phone for maybe, 2 hours total a day. My phone will be at 100% at 8 AM and by 10 AM it will be on 22% without me even using it yet. I turn on battery saver and it seems to make the battery die faster. I have now had the phone for a year, the phone now, will not display the keyboard and then after it being frozen for 5 minutes will completly restart and come back on and repeat the process over again. When the phone actually remains on it will consistently bring up the "Ok google" voice activation without me saying a word. Data and storage is not good. I am supposed to have nationwide data, but don't get it ANYWHERE through t mobile and the storage on my phone is constantly full even without any pictures or apps on it. Apps crash on a daily basis and the phone is very delayed (after pressing the home button, it is usual to have to wait a half minute before anything shows up). I would NOT buy this phone. I would spring for the slightly more expensive but oh so worth it LG Stylo. I had the stylo for 3 years and had no complaints about the phone at all. Very durable and very fast.
