This blender does exactly what I hoped it would, and then some. I did a lot of research on high tech expensive fancy blenders. I just could not bring myself to spend 500 dollars on a blender. Maybe if you spend that much money in a year on take out smoothies, soups, etc it is worth it. But for a normal family such as mine I think the 200 dollar price range is plenty for a nice blender. But what I got with this Ninja was much more.
I had a normal blender, magic bullet and even nutri bullet. In all of my previous blenders I simply could not get them to blend my ice drinks smoothly. All I wanted was no ice chunks. I could not get it right. So I had a co-worker tell me that they just shelled out big money for a Vitamix blender and that it blended their drinks perfectly with no ice chunks. I was jealous. But I also did not want to spend that much like I stated earlier. Then after a lot of research I found out that this Ninja blender was comparable to those high end blenders but at a fraction of the cost.
After trying this blender out once, I am sold! I immediately loaded it up with ice, a scoop of my mocha coffee drink, and milk. I then turned the dial to "ice drink" and hit the start button. It automatically sets a timer and then blends at variable speeds. It beeps when it is done. Then out came the most perfect iced mocha drink that I have ever blended at home. I was in love! I no longer need to go to the golden arches for my beloved mocha frappe, which is why i bought the powder mix to begin with. i just didn't have a blender up to the task.
The automatic settings are awesome! You just move the dial then push start, it reminds me of the push to start on my car! There is a manual feature of course but I have yet to use it since the auto settings cover pretty much everything.
Cleaning it is super easy as well. You just put some dish soap in it and some warm or hot water and hit the clean button. It then blends at variable speeds and all you have to do is rinse it. Awesome!
I cannot say enough about this blender and I guarantee it is as good as those expensive high end blenders. If you search some comparisons online you will see how the power on this Ninja is only slightly less powerful than the expensive competitors but at less than half the price.

Did it's job - one flaw

I would like to start by saying that this chopper absolutely does it's job. It chops and dices many foods so they can be used in your favorite recipe. It dices onions perfectly without all of the tears...unless you tear up when pre-cutting the onion first. That leads me to my only issue with the chopper. The compartment where you place the food to be chopped is very small. You are supposed to pre-cut the food into small pieces so that it will fit in the chopper. I know it saves you time by dicing for you, but you are already taking out a cutting board and knife. If you plan on this appliance to reduce dirty dishes then this is not for you. You will actually have more dishes as the blade and chopper bowl have to be cleaned as well. So I suppose any time you save from chopping your own foods you will put into the new dishes.
Overall the chopper works very well for what it is intended. I was able to make a salsa that tasted great with all ingredients being consistent and just gave it an overall nicer texture when eating. I also make a home made guacamole that was different than any other I had made before. It is a very high quality chopper and I would in fact recommend it to anyone who wants to consistently chop and dice very fast.

Big sound, small package

This is not your average Bluetooth speaker. The first thing you will notice is the 2 wonderful textures. The front has a rough texture, almost like a rhino lining of a pickup bed. It feels very rough, tough and durable. The back of the unit is like a brushed aluminum. It gives it almost a commercial feel. The buttons are a nice aluminum as well that have a great feel for them.
The connection of a phone to the speaker is standard like most other Bluetooth speakers. You turn it on then hit the pair button. You then find it on the list of available devices on your phone and select it to pair. There is a button that will tell you how much battery life remaining.
The speaker sounds amazing! I played every type of music I could possible find on Pandora and my phone's media and it all sounded so good. I did not play it on full blast because i like to "break in" my speakers first before I push them too hard. The clarity of the music was very rich and vibrant while not being overpowered by messy bass. The balance is very nice and crisp.
The battery life is another one of the strong suites. It has such a long battery life that it even allows you to use the device as a battery charger for your phone. I have been using this regularly for the past few days and the battery status level is still showing full.
I really love this speaker and will be taking it with me everywhere I go in case there happens to be a need for some sweet music. It will be clutch.

I never thought that advanced technology could be incorporated into wine drinking. This wine system changes all that.
Upon first glance this item looks very modern and advanced. You have to really make sure you can understand and follow the directions as it is not a pick up an go type of contraption. We used Youtube for easy to follow instructions from the manufacturer. Then one you finally get your hands on it to use really feels like a science experiment. It feels really cool to use. You clasp the bottle with the device then penetrate the cork with a needle that extracts the wine then replaces the empty air with carbon dioxide. Very cool. We poured 2 glasses using this system. Then almost a week later we uncorked that same bottle...wow!! The wine tasted no different than a completely brand new bottle. This is our favorite red wine so we knew exactly how its supposed to taste. This device really works!
This system does exactly what it promises. It allows you to pour one or two glasses of wine while keeping the rest of the bottle absolutely fresh as new.

Full House Coverage!!

I have tested several routers in my home and I think I like this one the best. It combines many of the features that I liked from all of the different routers/extenders.
The main unit has a classic "hardcore" look to it with the big body and antennas. It looks nice and heavy duty. The setup was also very easy, I chose to use the app vs using the hard line method. It was up and running in less than 5 minutes, and that includes connecting the extender.
The wireless range is far superior to any one that I have used. I tried a previous "mesh" network and for some reason had issues with my modem/router from my provider and the wireless signals. They almost seemed to clash. I asked a cable technician and he said that networks on the same ghz band can cause issues. Now with this setup I have had zero issues. I have freed up bandwidth from my original network and have added this awesome network. The range reaches full strength from my whole house including my large backyard. That is because I strategically placed the extender to pickup my basement and backyard.
The only drawback is the lack of a USB 3.0 port. I really wanted to install a network hard drive but was not able to do so. I don't really use/need one but I wanted to just for the novelty of it.
Overall I would highly recommend this setup if you want fast speeds and a whole lot of coverage.

First off, I have used many projectors both personally and at work. They are usually pretty run of the mill all doing the same thing more or less. Upon first inspection this projector appeared to be no different. Basic setup for me without needing instructions as it is very straight forward. The adjusting of the height both in front and back are very easy and the focus/size is also very basic and easy to adjust.
It features an HDMI input that i love since i can easily connect my laptop with the audio carrying over as well. The speakers make this a higher quality projector right off the bat and they get pretty loud. In a large conference room the sound gets lost where you should connect external speakers but in most moderate conference rooms the speakers are clear and way better than the laptop speakers.
The picture is crystal clear with every detail coming out. I presented everything from slideshows to web pages to movies. Everything had vivid colors and crisp definition.
Now the best part...wireless connectivity. I was able to mirror my phone's display via the mirracast option as well as the Epson app. You install a USB adapter (included) for it to pickup the network. I loved this feature as it allowed me to run displays right off my phone. Superb!
The unit also does not get very hot compared to other projectors I have used. It is also a smaller profile and sleeker than most others I've used.
Overall I really love this projector and will be my go to moving forward for both business and entertainment.

Very Good Router, Expected More

I expected more from the router for being such a high end router.
First the setup was very buggy. It took several attempts to try and setup the network then when it finally accepted my network it just named it "Linksys" vs what I had actually tried to name it. I also selected for the 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks and it didn't accept this setting either. I had to manually change it later in the admin settings.
Now once it was finally up and running I ran some speed tests. It performed very well and actually gave me faster speeds than what I pay for from my cable provider.
I then connected my Playstaion to it and the dashboard showed me that it was prioritized via the "killer engine". That looked pretty cool but I did not notice a huge difference with gaming. It ran smooth, but no smoother than my old router/modem combo.
Overall this is a very high quality router, but did not even run better than my old 1900 Linksys router w/ 6 antennas. Not bad though.

My new favorite mouse

This was my very first trackball mouse so I really didn't know what to expect. I know a lot of people who use them and love them but I have always been skeptical since I have always used traditional mice. Let me tell you, this thing is awesome!
First setup is so easy you don't even need instructions as are most mice. Plug and play. So withing seconds I was playing around on the internet with the mouse. I was very surprised at how easy it is to adapt to the trackball, it almost comes naturally. Then I changed the angle of the mouse and it felt even more natural and comfortable in my hand.
You flip the mouse over and it lists a website to download the Logitech software. I visited the site and within a few short minutes I had the software not only downloaded and installed but it launched and instantly recognized my trackball mouse. It let me configure my quick launch buttons with ease so now my mouse was even MORE useful and natural.
I use AutoCAD and other programs that require precise tracking. This mouse has a button that turns on "precision tracking" and slows down the mouse speed for you. This is a very useful feature as I don't have to go into the mouse settings to play around with the tracking speed, but just toggle it on and off now.
So far I love everything about this mouse and I would highly recommend it. I have even used it while laying on the floor where my hand barely has to move. I actually fell asleep.

Very Easy to Use, Works Great

Right out of the box this cooker has a very high quality look and feel. It even includes a hardcover cookbook with recipes which is very nice. The instructions are a bit long but once you figure it out you are cooking in no time.
You must set the level of power, turn bottom element on or off, then power on. That's it. The instructions make it seem much more difficult. This is because you have to make sure you add food before you power on as there is no pre-heating necessary.
I added a bag of frozen veggies and about 3/4lb of frozen shrimp and powered it on. I then added some tomato sauce and spices as the cooker automatically stirred it.
There is a timer built in for you to set and you just have to monitor it to make sure it's done.
Once it was done...delicious!! Super easy and food was great tasting. Then you only wash the dish it cooks in and the lid. No pots and pans, no boiling water and no oven. We all loved it!
I highly recommend this for families who like an alternative to crock pots and like like dishes fast and efficient.

Another HP Printer I Don't Like

My last HP printer frustrated me to no end so I replaced it with this shiny new printer. OK, so it is not technically shiny but more of a flat black, more resistant to fingerprints.
Setup was kind of easy, although it keeps prompting you to setup via the HP app you do not need to. I actually downloaded it an immediately stopped when it requested location info and push notifications. Why do I need to receive push notifications to setup a printer? So I figured out I could cancel installation on the printer display and there was a slightly hidden "manual setup" option. This let me load the ink and setup my network right on the printer.
I then loaded the paper into the tray without an issue. I then decided to try and print a photo right from my phone. I opened the paper tray yet again to load the photo paper but the paper trays did not go in so easy. They actually felt like something was blocking them but the "paper tray open" message went away so I figured maybe that was as far as it goes. So I then attempted to print my photo. The printer immediately made a bad sound and a paper jam error message comes on. A piece of paper got stuck since the tray was not fully closed. I then had to disassemble the inside to push the paper out then reach my hand in underneath to pull the paper out. I then realized that the power cord had actually entered the exposed back and inside of the printer not allowing the tray to close. Uggghh! Closed it all back up and tried to allow the photo to proceed. No luck. The paper jam had caused an error that completely locked up the printing process and froze.I had to unplug the printer and restart my phone (phone notification would not go away either). This was kind of good because it also allowed me to train the power cord in the back to make sure that it could not enter the back of the printer again.
I then was finally able to print a single photo. It was not bad actually, the photo came out great. The regular printed pages on 8.5x11 were very smooth too.
The one thing I noticed right away was how small the ink cartridges were. My last HP printer had huge XL size cartridges and they didn't seem to last very long so I can imagine what this thing will do. I can't help but see a correlation between the cartridges getting smaller and the new auto refill ink program HP offers where the printer automatically orders new ink for you when it's low. Hmmm.
Not a bad overall printer, but just too many familiar issues that I have experienced with every other HP printer I have ever owned (4 total).

Yes, the sealed lid is plastic with slots that make contact with the water as you pour it out. Even if you remove the lid, the mouth is also plastic that makes contact when you pour out the water. Hope this helps!

I would not risk running with these buds. They are a little bulky and have a rubber "band" that is supposed to help seal in the ear, but can also push the bud out a little. I would recommend the Plantronics Backbeat Fit ear buds.

Your question sort of contradicts itself as using an app to control something is essentially a "smart" home function. You can use the lock without connecting to the internet and use as a simple push code lock. But for that then spend less money and buy one without the internet accessibility. Once this lock is setup you can connect it to your home network and control it using the August app if you wish. You can also integrate it into an even "smarter" home by adding the Connect bridge and using it with Google Home, Alexa, etc. Hope this answers your question.
