Brings new meaning to up, up, and away!

Pixar does a wonderful job with this film. They normally do, but this one goes beyond.
The beginning is an emotional tale that leaves you wanting the best for Carl. I have watched each individual Pixar film, and animated films from all over, and I don’t believe there is a more emotional story to be told through animation than this.
There is a Carl in all of us at some point in our lives. As a child, he sees his role model living out his dreams and fantasies, wanting nothing more than to one day be that person going on those adventures. He eventually gets married and a job, but throughout his life, that dream is still in the back of his head. After a life of disappointment, he finally has had enough and goes on his trip, with an unexpected twist, he brought along a little boy scout whose father had not been there for him much. You might say, ‘This all sounds sad for an animated film, especially Pixar and Disney.’ This movie is also very funny as all Pixar films, and in the end, you will be happy you watched it.
I won’t say more, because the movie speaks for itself. I only hope Pixar will be able to follow up this accomplishment with the release of their next movie.
What's great about it: It is an animated film made for children, adults, and anywhere in between.
What's not so great: Beginning a touch dark for the kiddies.

Too Good for the First Try Abrams

This movie is a must see for the year, but its title lets it down. I know a few people who won’t watch it just because of the title. They consider the shows and old movies to be nerdy. I think they are better than that, just because they have a bit more to the story than that of Star Wars and have stood the test of time whether people like it or not.
Back to the new movie though, this one is vastly different than the others, yet still holds that Star Trek touch people have loved in the past. This one has much better visuals than any one of the others (I always thought the world of Star Trek needed a facelift), better action, and a great story. If you have watched the show in the past or are a die-hard fan, you will love this movie. If you have not watched the show, nor have no idea what Star Trek is all about, you will enjoy and like this movie even if you don’t want to admit to it. The real fact most people don’t want to admit to, is the fact that this movie even if it didn’t have the name Star Trek on the cover, or the name of the ship and names of the characters, it would be a good movie nonetheless.
This installment to the series of Star Trek reboots the entire universe with a plot that stirs things up. Even Trekies won’t be able to guess the storyline. This frees it from the demanding storyline of the series, and sets it up for possible sequels. It is a fun, enjoyable experience the movie theater released upon unsuspecting crowd. It’s got elements from a classic sci-fi flick, yet pieces of a good western with plenty of action. The characters stay within the original’s personality, making it easy to adjust with the times for the Trekies, yet are easy to grasp on to and love for the new fans.
Must see movie, plenty of action, and humor mixed in, what’s not to like?

Gaming console with more than ever

This gaming console has everything a true gamer would ever want. Sure the Xbox 360 has found its way into greatness. Why? because it was released before the ps3 and hence has more games. but, the ps3 has 99.9% of every game thats coming out now. The ps3 has better graphics than the Xbox 360, especially games designed specifically for it. The xbox live marketplace equivalent has movies, games, demos, add ons, and more. Also online play is FREE!!! It has a built in wireless receiver so no wires, built in bluray player. Also has almost no glitches or freezups. The updates wont run the risk of killing your ps3 as opposed to the 360. only problem i dont like is the controller, seems light in weight compared to the 360's controller. but, if you get the dualshock 3, a little more weighty and great vibration. everything is wireless that i have seen for the ps3. Also, has motion sensor in controller.
-Games that have been previously released on 360 are being re-released on ps3. (such as Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2)
-Has backward compatibility( able to play ps1 and ps2 games)
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: nothing serious

does the ps3 play ps2 games

Modern PS3s are compatible with PS1 games, but PS2 on the other hand, are not. The early PS3s were, but that was a feature dropped out for whatever reason. I do not know about the Slims though. I assume they are like the others, compatible with PS1, but not PS2.
