Terry George's drama Hotel Rwanda turned horrific real-life events into inspiring drama, and helped bring public attention to a news story that was ignored by much of the world. The extras on the DVD release of the film balance a behind-the-scenes look at the production with the desire to include more historical context. Director Terry George, composer Wyclef Jean, lead actor Don Cheadle, and Paul Rusesabagina (the real-life person Cheadle portrayed) all provide commentary at different points throughout the movie. The "Return to Rwanda" featurette follows Rusesabagina as he visits the sites depicted in the film for the first time since he fled the country. The film is presented in a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English, French, and Spanish subtitles are accessible. This is a disc that will appeal to the film's fans, as well as to those with an interest in the historical events at the heart of the movie.

Don Cheadle is again amazing. I think this movie should be required for high school students to watch in order to get a global understanding. There were parts in the extras where I couldn't watch because it was just too much. Superb movie.
of course denzel is amazing, but the casting of the football team was great. u could feel the tension at the beginning and literally can feel it dissipate.
I have loved this cd for 12+years. ronnie devoe, bobby brown, ricky bell, mike bivens, ralph tresvant and johnnygill...they just don't make em like that anymore... LOVE it
The DVD of Goodfellas has got to be one of the very first DVDs ever released by Warner Brothers because they make a critical error in the release. While many films offer widescreen on one side and full screen on the other, this film offers only one version -- a widescreen film broken into two sides. Viewers have to flip the DVD over to watch the second half of the film; 19 chapters are on side A and the last 15 chapters are on side B. Goodfellas is a classic film, and the DVD offers a great video transfer and excellent Dolby Digital 5:1 Surround, but no DVD fan will accept the two-sided format. In terms of extras, there are very few, limited only to theatrical trailers, production notes, and cast bios. For many, this Martin Scorsese classic is a must-have for any collection, but those who can wait for a future, corrected release of this film are better off watching the widescreen VHS tape. Language option in English and French and subtitles in English, French, and Spanish.

this is wonderfully directed, perfectly cast movie. CLASSIC
Ludacris keeps getting better! His metaphors and rhyme style are amazing! The only complaint i have is the guest appearances (mayweather, spike lee, chris rock) they were a little too much on one cd.
it's a great cd, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't flow as well as his other cd's do. maybe it's just because i've only listened to it once but i was hoping for better.
This is a great movie. The action sequences are ridiculous! The only thing that irritated me was sometimes when the chinese people spoke english, the sound didn't match with the lip movement.
i read the other reviews before writing mine...tyrese was a rapper and thuggish before he was a model and a singer...check ur facts. lol. this was a good movie, i the chase sequence is great. please tell kimora lee that she is NOT hood and a really bad actress.
