The "Iron Man" film series has had a different composer for each movie. Ramin Djawadi's score for "Iron Man" is a nice complement to the film while you're watching it, but it's less satisfying as a stand-alone audio experience. John Debney's score for "Iron Man 2" is totally forgettable. Brian Tyler's score is a welcome reprieve from the generic "heroism" of Alan Silvestri's scores for "Captain America" and "The Avengers".
I wish that the composers had developed consistent themes for the recurring characters, either across films or purely within films. As such, Tony Stark gets the best bits, and everyone else is treated as an afterthought.
This Blu-ray manages to approach the clarity that I saw with the theatrical film print back when the movie was first released. The image is quite breathtaking in many scenes.
I wish that Warner and Branagh had found some more behind-the-scenes footage of this epic production, but the Blu-ray DigiBook presentation is quite nice.

What's great about it: Video and Audio Presentation
It's great that the writer of the novel was given the opportunity to write/direct the film adaptation.
The extensive deleted scenes are worth watching, though because the Bonus Features are so good, you kinda hope that there is other material floating around for some sort of anniversary release down the line.
What's great about it: Bonus Features
What's not so great: Leaves you wanting to see more featurettes/behind-the-scenes footage
"The Kingdom" is probably Peter Berg's best movie. It's an action movie, but it's also a drama that deals with substantive issues. The two main Saudi Arabian characters are as fully-developed as the main American characters, and they're treated with dignity and respect by the filmmakers.
The Blu-ray software takes advantage of what the technology is capable of handling. Also, you get great video and audio quality.
This release puts the movie on Disc 1 all by itself. This gives the movie plenty of space to breathe, and the video and audio quality are excellent. This version also has more Bonus Features than the regular Blu-ray/DVD combo pack that everyone else also sells.
I would've liked the option of being able to get the IMAX version, but that's probably out of Best Buy's hands.

What's great about it: Disc 1 has just the movie, Disc 2 has lots of Bonus Features
This comprehensive box set of films adapted from Marvel comics includes Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, and Marvel's The Avengers and includes wealth of making-of materials about each of these titles.
This set drops the Bonus Features discs for Iron Man and Iron Man 2. Instead, we get some prop replicas and paper files that are meant to simulate what SHIELD personnel read when they need information about the Avengers. All of this is interesting material, but why were the Bonus Discs dropped???

What's great about it: Attractive Design
What's not so great: Build Quality, Missing Bonus Features
It's obvious that Daniel Craig gives his all for these movies, even if the final product is disappointing (as with "Quantum of Solace").
I wish that the Blu-ray could've offered more Bonus Features as well as the IMAX version that was shown in some IMAX theaters. Maybe there'll be a re-release, which I would not mind double-dipping.

What's great about it: Video/Audio Quality
What's not so great: Could have more Bonus Features
The movie itself is very enjoyable, but Best Buy got a bad batch of movie discs. Several people got copies that would freeze or skip in their Blu-ray players.
The sticker price in stores is $70. I don't know why the online price is $90.
I was able to get a copy when it was discounted to $20. The box itself is quite nice as it's sturdy and has a light-up front cover. The book with profiles of Marvel characters is fun to read, but it is available for purchase separately.
The rest of the package consists of a lithograph (cast members photoshopped together) and a $30 Sideshow Collectibles Gift Card. Unfortunately, the Gift Card can't be applied towards shipping, so no matter what you get, you will end up spending a bit of your own money.
