This movie was originally released with a second disc. All of the Extras were on the second disc. This new Steelbook only has the movie disc, so you don't get any Extras at all.
This may remind some viewers of Kathryn Bigelow's K-19: The Widowmaker. If you liked that movie, you'll probably enjoy this one. Ed Harris is always credible, though David Duchovny is not very convincing as a Soviet.
Truly a disaster, with cliched dialogue and situations. The acting is atrocious, and the last third of the movie is an insult to people who've seen at least 10 other movies. Lily Collins manages to rise above the material, but she deserves better roles.
This movie was very good right up until the end. Most of it plays like a character study/drama, but it's almost ruined by an overblown finale that's loud and boring.
Unfortunately, Fox wants people to pay for the 3D version if you want the Alternate Version.
This is by far the worst of the X-Men movies. All of the roles are miscast (except for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine), the special effects look awful, and the story is just ridiculous. There's no medical guarantee that a bullet to Wolverine's head will induce amnesia, yet Stryker somehow knows that's exactly what will happen. Yeah, right.
This movie has the best writing, the best casting, and the best performances, especially by Michael Fassbender as Magneto and Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw. The movie is a little overlong, and they shouldn't have made James McAvoy say "Groovy". Otherwise, no quibbles.
Rebecca Romijn plays Mystique, a character who is pivotal to many of the conflicts and schemes that happen in the plot. Romijn does a great job of portraying the character's insouciance, especially when contrasted with the dour Wolverine.
The classic Lethal Weapon series follows the unique friendship between two cops with very different crime-fighting methods. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover star.
Disc 2 should be Lethal Weapon 2. Instead, Warner encoded Swordfish on it even though the cover art is for Lethal Weapon 2. Warner and Best Buy should be proactive in recalling this set instead of waiting for customers to discover this unfortunate mishap.
