Over the course of their impressive career, father/son mechanic team Paul Teutul and Paul Jr. have gained a reputation as two of the most creative and inspired mechanics in the business, and now motorcycle enthusiasts can step into the garage with the pair to find out what really goes into the making of a killer street machine as the second season of their popular Discovery Channel series American Chopper arrives on DVD courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Video. From the Celebrity bike to the Mikey Special, all of your favorite episodes are here. Presented in 1.33:1 full-frame and offering closed-captioned audio in English Dolby Digital Stereo, this release goes even further behind the scenes to offer such bonus materials as commercial shoot outtakes, Paul Sr. interview clips, and a photo gallery.

It is amazing what these guys can do but I don't know if I'd want them to rush to finish my bike like they always do.

Joe Johnston's adventure film Hidalgo arrives on DVD with a full-frame transfer that fails to preserve the original theatrical aspect ratio. The English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1. French and Spanish soundtracks have been recorded as well. This THX-certified disc offers first-rate picture and sound quality. Supplemental materials include a nine-minute behind-the-scenes featurette that touches on aspects of production as well as the history of the real people and events depicted in the film. A more extensive featurette on the stallions is available for those with PCs that have DVD-ROM drives. Trailers for a handful of other releases round out the extras. This is a fine disc for what it is, but the same extras are available on a different DVD that also boasts a widescreen transfer of the film. That version is preferable to this one.

The cranky beast with a heart of gold returns to the big screen in this sequel to the computer-animated smash hit Shrek. After massive green ogre Shrek (voice of Mike Myers) and his new bride, Princess Fiona (voice of Cameron Diaz), return from their honeymoon, they receive an invitation to visit Fiona's parents, King Harold (voice of John Cleese) and Queen Lillian (voice of Julie Andrews), who are the monarchs of The Land Far, Far Away. However, the king and queen are more than a bit alarmed to discover their new son-in-law is a monster the color of algae, and that their daughter's little problem with a magical spell gone wrong has turned into a full-time skin condition. Certain this isn't the sort of "happily ever after" they dreamed of for their daughter, King Harold decides to take Shrek out of the picture and return Fiona to her former beauty with the help of Prince Charming (voice of Rupert Everett), the Fairy Godmother (voice of Jennifer Saunders), and ogre-slaying feline Puss in Boots (voice of Antonio Banderas). Shrek 2 also features the voice of Eddie Murphy returning as Donkey, as well as Larry King as an Ugly Stepsister.

Package Description: Disney's lovable superstar Goofy is back in his very own show! You'll howl with laughter as Goofy and his son Max find themselves up to their necks in the kind of mishaps that made their family famous. Whether diving for buried treasure or appearing in the "World's Most Painful Home Videos," Goofy and Max know that no matter how badly things go awry, they will always have each other. With three of the most hilarious Goof Troop episodes, it's easy to see why Goofy is the first name in comedy!

Ron Shelton's buddy-basketball comedy White Men Can't Jump comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a deleted scene that has been edited into the body of the feature, theatrical trailers, television advertisements, and a music video for Riff's "White Men Can't Jump." This is a solid release from 20th Century Fox.

Michael Mann's biopic Ali rightfully earned Will Smith the best reviews of his career as well as a nomination for Best Actor from the Academy. Mann has added scenes and extended other sequences to create the director's cut that appears on this disc. The film itself is presented in a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.40:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. English, Spanish, and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by Mann. His comments tend toward commenting on the historical events depicted in the film rather than to the filmmaking process, but he does offer much insight into his intentions with the film. A newly produced making-of documentary rounds out this solid release.

This had the potiential to be a great movie. It had a great plot and Will Smith as the lead role but it was long and kind of boring.

The big-screen adaptation of Jim Davis' popular comic strip Garfield debuts on DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and is preferable to the standard full-frame image. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while Spanish and French soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English and French subtitles are accessible. This disc does offer first-rate sound and picture quality.

This movie shows how hard it is for a hard core sports fan to get into a relationship, and how to do it. A good date movie.

IS IT WORTH PAYING SOMEONE TO CALABRATE OR TWEEK THE SETTINGS ON MY SAMSUNG 52A650 LCD

Yes!! It is very much worth it. They make your tv look the very best that it can in your setting. I would recommend anyone doing this with a tv 42" or larger.
