Good Finale!

Final seasons are usually pretty good and this one is no different. But how bad can it be with these three beauties in it?

The third and final film in the Wachowski brothers' epic science fiction trilogy The Matrix picks up where the second film, The Matrix Reloaded, left off. As the film begins, Neo attempts to navigate through a space somewhere between the machine world and the real world, Trinity and Morpheus pay a visit to The Merovingian, the citizens of Zion prepare for imminent war with the sentinels, and Agent Smith continues to gain power. As Matrix fans have come to expect, the closing chapter is presented in a superb DVD package. The two-disc set features top-notch visual and audio quality alongside a seemingly endless wealth of bonuses. The first disc bears a crystal-clear widescreen anamorphic transfer of the feature presentation with the soundtrack available in both Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and Dolby Digital Stereo. A French-dubbed Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track is also included, along with subtitles in English, French, and Spanish. Standing out from the Matrix DVDs that preceded it, disc one of Revolutions is the first to feature trailers from all three trilogy entries and The Animatrix animation series. Over on the second disc, viewers are treated to several behind-the-scenes featurettes. "Revolutions Recalibrated" takes a general look at the making of the film, while "CG Revolution" specifically examines the dazzling visual effects, and "Super Burly Brawl" offers the ins and outs of the climactic final fight between Neo and Agent Smith. Meanwhile, there are four more short making-of segments in the Operator feature. Beyond that, there is an exceptionally concise text-and image-based history of the Matrix called "Before the Revolution," a look at the upcoming online Matrix game, a gallery with storyboards and conceptual images, and several DVD-ROM features. A full-screen version with the same features was also released.

My least favorite of the Matrix movies. Not in a hurry to watch again.

When this movie came out, there wasn't really anything like it. A great movie.

Emilio Estevez's three appearances in the family-friendly comedy-drama Mighty Ducks franchise are collected on this DVD box set. The Mighty Ducks, D2: The Mighty Ducks, and D3: The Mighty Ducks have all been transferred to DVD in 1.85:1 letterboxed format. All three films also feature the original English language soundtrack in Dolby Digital 5.1, while the first film also features supplementary French and Spanish language tracks in Dolby Surround. All three films are closed captioned in English, though none of them have subtitle options, and none feature bonus supplementary materials.

Some have criticized this two-disc special edition of the mega box-office smash Spider-Man, but those pans are way off base. In reality, there is little, if anything, wrong with this DVD. To begin with, the visual presentation, framed at 1.85:1 and anamorphic (yes, there is a full-frame edition out there to confuse consumers), is near perfect. Detail is solid and colors are vivid. In addition, the darker scenes, a crucial element of the film, are stable, with no signs of breakdown. The auditory part of this set, presented in 5.1 Dolby Digital (in both English and French) is both aggressive and crisp. Dialogue is never washed out by sound effects, while at the same time, the use of those effects with the surround speakers is generous. The real marvel of this disc though are the special features, and they are plentiful. The first disc, with the movie, not only contains subtitled facts about the production and the history of Spider-Man, numerous television spots and theatrical trailers (for this and other Columbia/TriStar films), and bibliographies for the main cast, but also two full-length, scene-specific commentaries, one from director Sam Raimi, co-producers Grant Curtis and Laura Ziskin, and star Kirsten Dunst and the second from visual effects producer John Dykstra and his team. The second disc continues the supplements. Divided into two sections, "The Web of Spider-Man -- The Comic" and "The Goblin's Lair -- The Movie." As you might have figured, the first section covers the history and mythology of the comic book series. There is a documentary from the comic book artists over the years, a comic book archive of Spidey over the years, galleries for the villains and the girlfriends, and more. The second section covers the film, with a nice documentary on the making of the film, with plenty of behind-the-scene footage, and an even longer E! Entertainment television special called "Spider-mania." In addition are a couple of very short screen tests, profiles on director Raimi and composer Danny Elfman, a gag reel, and plenty of conceptual art and production paintings. If this all weren't enough, also included are a number of DVD-ROM features for each disc, including the ability to create your own commentary. There is plenty here to please any fan of this film, from those that grew up with this classic comic book character, to those that are newly introduced.

The original series about nothing returns as Sony Pictures Home Entertainment brings Seinfeld: Season 6 to DVD in this four-disc set featuring all 24 episodes of the Emmy-winning television series' sixth season. Each episode is presented in 1.33:1 full-frame as originally aired, and offers a selection of either English- or French-language audio with optional English, French, Spanish, or Portuguese subtitles.

IS IT WORTH PAYING SOMEONE TO CALABRATE OR TWEEK THE SETTINGS ON MY SAMSUNG 52A650 LCD

Yes!! It is very much worth it. They make your tv look the very best that it can in your setting. I would recommend anyone doing this with a tv 42" or larger.
