Penny Marshall's film about female professional baseball players, A League of Their Own, comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, and French as well as Spanish soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. Spanish and Korean subtitles are accessible. Although the disc is technically sound, there are no supplemental materials of any consequence. This is a solid, but unspectacular disc from Columbia/TriStar.

This is a funny movie. It tells a good story and the cast does a good job.
Chris Columbus' charming comedy Adventures in Babysitting comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Surround, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are no subtitles, but the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Although there are no supplemental materials of any consequence, the inexpensive list price makes this disc a great purchase for anyone looking for a comedy the whole family can enjoy.

My first babysitter showed me this. It is an alright movie but nothing too exciting.
This director's cut edition of Lethal Weapon 2 boasts four minutes of footage not utilized in the theatrical release. The image is a fine 2.35:1 widescreen anamorphic transfer. English soundtracks are available in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1, while a French soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. English, Spanish, and French subtitles are accessible. Aside from the bonus footage (which is edited into the film, not presented in a deleted scenes section), the disc includes a "making of" documentary concerning the creation of action scenes and a theatrical trailer. A non-director's cut version of the film is available on a different disc.

Yes!! It is very much worth it. They make your tv look the very best that it can in your setting. I would recommend anyone doing this with a tv 42" or larger.
