Cool Movie
on October 19, 2008

Finnaly, a new Indiana Jones release since 1989. Harrison Ford who plays as Indiana Jones seems kind of old. Oh well, it's still a great movie anyway. This is my second favorite film in the Indiana Jones franchise. (Raiders of the lost ark is my favorite).

KISS Ikons
on October 19, 2008

Really decent KISS compilation. Each disc has 14 songs by each band member. But, most of Ace Frehly's and Peter Criss' songs were taken from their solo album. Ah, what the heck. Good songs anyway. One thing, a few songs couldn't have used some way famous songs.

This film is awesome!!!!!! My number one favorite film. This is the film where the T- 1000 is sent to kill John Connor, and arnold schwarzenegger's character is sent to protect John. This film beats the first one in box office

I really love this film. It has tons of humor. You'll enjoy it if you could watch "R" rated films. I would recommend this film anyone over 16.

Has lots of options that you can experiment with

this is a really great game. plus you can create houses more than two stories high. If you count on getting all the expansion packs, make sure you have a really huge hard drive. It can take a lot of space and memory. just get the ones that you like the most. The other good thing, it comes with an expansion pack, nightlife. This can get you started if you want some extra expansion packs. I highly reccomend that you get a new graphics card.
What's great about it: lots more features than the sims 1
What's not so great: need a new graphics card

For those whole like their apocalyptic disaster films delivered mother-nature style, Godzilla director Roland Emmerich's The Day After Tomorrow arrives on DVD courtesy of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. The feature is presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen and looks virtually flawless. For viewers who neglected to see the grand-scale adventure in the big screen, this disc offers the next best thing -- with remarkable clarity and no discernible evidence of digital artifacting or edge enhancement. The English DTS 5.1 audio mix is appropriately room-shaking, and the surround channels are well-utilized in placing viewers directly at the center of the action. Alternate English Dolby Digital 5.1, and Spanish and French Dolby Digital Surround with optional English and Spanish subtitles are also offered. Though there are indeed some informative bonus materials offered on this disc, one might expect quite a bit more from such a special-effects-oriented film. Audio commentary with director Emmerich and producer Mark Gordon often finds the comments of the soft-spoken but good-humored director taking a back seat to the at times gratingly motor-mouthed anecdotes of the producer, while a more informative secondary track featuring co-writer Jeffrey Nachmanoff, director of photography Ueli Steiger, editor David Brenner, and production designer Barry Chusid really explores the behind-the-scenes work that went into crafting such an elaborate production. The "Audio Anatomy" interactive sound demo offers an interesting look at how sound shapes a film by allowing viewers to cycle between eight separate tracks -- each offering a separate component such as foley or score that, when pieced together, truly bring the film to life. It's an interesting feature for audiophiles, and a great way to learn what an important role audio plays in shaping the filmgoing experience. DVD-ROM materials offer viewers who own a PC with Internet access over an hour of exclusive making-of footage.

This engaging comedy may be an action-adventure, but it's also a love story between Harry Tasker Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife Helen Jamie Lee Curtis. True Lies incorporates spectacular special effects along with comedy and romance, and it's a winning combination. Sidekick Tom Arnold is just smart-mouthed enough to keep Harry in line and under cover. Director James Cameron has worked with Schwarzenegger in many films, and they all have a familiar feel to them. Bill Paxton as the sleazy used car salesman is also a Cameron regular and perfect for the part. A Fox release in anamorphic widescreen, the True Lies DVD includes a Dolby 5.1 Surround audio track in English and French, as well as subtitles in English and Spanish. The sound and picture are both excellent. The biggest disappointment with this DVD is the lack of special features. The only bonus footage is the original theatrical trailer. There are no bios, documentaries, or even outtakes in this release, and the absence is especially lacking in comparison to other releases that include so much extra footage. True Lies is an excellent film, but the lack of special features is a detriment to the DVD.
