Worst Release of Terminator 2
on December 27, 2008
Posted by: c00ld00d92
I do enjoy Terminator 2: Judgement Day. I got the Blu Ray edition, and the only extras you can get are audio commentary, and English and Spanish subtitles. The rest has been left out. Also, only the theatrical version are present. If you are the kind of people who don't care about special features, go knock yourself out. For the rest of you, skip this and get the Extreme Edition on standard DVD format. But, the picture and sound are good on this release.

Roland Emmerich's science fiction blockbuster Independence Day comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround, while a French soundtrack has also been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a smattering of commentary from Emmerich and producer Dean Devlin, as well as commentary from the special effects crew. This is a solid disc from 20th Century Fox that should be appreciated by fans of the film.

Focuses mainly on special effects
on December 11, 2008

This movie is alright. The special effects are cool, but the plot and character development is somewhat weak. If you're the viewer who mainly focuses on the plot or character development, then this isn't for you. For the rest of everyone else, hang on tight

I personally like this movie. The plot is cool, Acting is good, and the graphics. This is by far one of Bruce Willis best films. If you seen the other die hards but not this one, you gotta see it

Not as good as the other die hards

This third installment of the die hard series isn't good as the other ones. Even though it has humor, and the plot is decent. But, it bores me a little bit

The Terminator features a wonderful 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer that is remarkable for a film released back in 1984. A few specks of dirt appear on the print, but they're extremely minor and don't hinder the experience in any way. This disc includes a brand-new 5.1-channel Dolby Surround transfer that showcases a significant amount of power and depth. It also contains the original mono track, which lacks the strength of its companion but does have a balanced level of sound. This special edition of The Terminator contains an impressive collection of supplements that should please its many devout fans. The highlights are two well-done documentaries that provide plenty of background material. "Other Voices" is a comprehensive new extra that includes basically everyone involved with the film in a significant capacity. "The Terminator -- A Retrospective" features an informal conversation between James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1992 about their experiences making the film. The other major inclusion is seven deleted scenes that are more interesting than the usual throwaway moments. Cameron offers commentary on each cut and tries to explain why he made the deletion. There's also a large still gallery that contains numerous drawings and photographs in five categories. The most interesting section includes artwork by Cameron of his original concepts and storyboarded sequences. This disc offers fans a chance at reading Cameron's original film treatment. Written in 1982, it's very extensive and includes the basic structure for the final version. There are also several original theatrical trailers and television commercials included on this release.

Even though this film did poorly at the box office, I say it's the best from the sci fi genre. The acting, plot, and graphics are cool

Steven Seagal stars as a cook struggling to keep a heavily armed ship's nuclear arsenal out of the hands of a team of menacing terrorists in this action-packed thriller-adventure from Warner Home Video. Offered for viewing in either the original 1.85:1 widescreen theatrical aspect ratio (enhanced for widescreen TVs) or standard 1.33:1 full-screen pan-and-scan, this release offers audio in closed-captioned English Dolby Digital 5.1, along with Spanish and French Dolby Digital Surround with optional English Spanish and French subtitles. Limited extra features include production notes and a theatrical trailer.

This film is like die hard, but they're on a battleship. This is one of Steven Segal's best film. I can say to you that the beginning is pretty slow. But once you get the hang of it, you will enjoy the rest.

I like this rock band track pack. the songs are O.k. but they could of used better ones. 20 songs that all are master recordings? Yay. But, those people should consider choosing more songs. I can't wait for AC/DC live RB track pack, and RB track pack vol. 2

Heck Yes!!!!!!!

Better than rock band 1. This has all new features than rock band 1. It has a drum trainer mode where it helps you create realistic drum fills. There are 85 songs, which all of them are the origional version. Battle of the bands mode is also included. If you seen the preview for the setlist of GH world tour, it's o.k., but RB2's setlist is way better. I have to warn you that this game has the same difficulty as RB1.
