Steve Rash's high school romantic comedy Can't Buy Me Love comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. Supplemental materials are limited to trailers. This is a sparse, but acceptable disc from Disney/Buena Vista that should be appealing to fans of the film, but offers little to the average DVD consumer.

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is funny to see Patrick Dempsey back then and now what he looks like on Grey's Anatomy. He plays a geek who pays his way into popularity. The geek gets the girl but it has twists along the way. It is funny as well. It will play with your heart and emotions too. It has a great story to it. It is worth the purchase especially at this price
Bruce Joel Rubin's tearjerker My Life comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and is preferable in every way to the standard full-frame image. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Surround, while Spanish and French soundtracks are recorded in Dolby Digital Stereo. Subtitles are accessible in all three of those languages. Supplemental materials include theatrical trailers, and information on the cast and crew. This is a solid release from Columbia/TriStar.

Great sad movie

This is a very sad movie, but it is very good. This is a great price for it. Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman are very good in this film. I am a parent and can put myself in Michael Keaton's shoes as a man dying and not being able to see your child be born. so you better make a video they can watch so they can see and learn from you and get to know you and know where they came from. Very very sad movie definately buy it
What's great about it: The story and the tears you will shed
Halloween 2 is a great sequel. It picks up where the first on leaves off. It is the same night as Halloween one Jaime Lee Curtis is taken to the hospital and the scariness and blood shed continues. Halloween 2 is a good movie. Donald Pleasence is an awesome actor in Halloween one and two. Halloween 3 is terrible there is no Michael Myers in this film. I did not like it at all, but for one very low price you get both movies it is worth the purchase
This is the greatest horror film of all time. It is very scary. Michael Myers will give you the creeps. This is a great movie because this is a story that could truly happen. That is why it gives you the creeps. Alot of horror movies are fake and could never happen, but as in this movie there could be a serial killer who on Halloween puts on a mask and starts killing people. This is by far the best of the Halloween movies ever made and this is a great price
This is the funniest sitcoms ever. This season is probably my least favorite but it is still funny and I cannot fault one season. I did not like the addition to the family. They brought on a new a character named Seven I did not care for him. He does not bring anything to this season and he is not funny. The Bundys never get old this series just keeps on getting funnier.
What's great about it: The Bundys especially Al
What's not so great: The new bundy Seven they added
The DVD of The Green Mile -- Frank Darabont's second film adaptation of a Stephen King novel about hope and redemption in prison -- gives the three-hour epic a rather sparse presentation: along with a widescreen, anamorphic transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio, the disc also includes "Walking the Mile," a ten-minute "making of" featurette, as well as production notes and the theatrical trailer. Considering the film's commercial and critical success (it received six Academy award nominations, including nods for Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor for Michael Clarke Duncan), it's surprising and somewhat disappointing that the disc neglects to include commentary from or interviews with Darabont, Tom Hanks, Duncan, or any of the cast and crew. However, Darabont's just-this-side-of sentimental direction and strong performances from Hanks, Duncan, and Michael Jeter hold up just as well on video as they did on the big screen, making The Green Mile a worthwhile disc despite its lack of extra features.

This is such a good movie. The entire cast is awesome in this movie especially Tom Hanks and Michael Clark Duncan. In my opinion this is Tom Hanks best work. This price is great. I guarantee you will cry at the end of this movie. It is one of my all time favorite movies! You will get wrap up in this movie you will not want it to end it is a great story.
This is the best Jim Carrey movie I have ever seen. It is nice to see him doing a drama that is so good. Everyone has seen the silly movies he has done, but it is nice to see him show that he can be a dramatic actor and be very good at it. This is a great price as well.
This movie is a riot. You will be laughing all through the movie. You will find yourself watching it over and over. It is worth the purchase especially at this price! The actors are all extremely funny especially Steve Carell
An ambitious attempt to wed the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table with known historical facts of the era, this action adventure drama begins with the fall of the Roman Empire in 450 A.D. as Roman armies flee the British Isles. Arthur (Clive Owen), a heroic knight and devoted Christian, is torn between his desire to travel to Rome to serve his faith and his loyalty to the land of his birth. As England falls into lawlessness, Arthur throws in his lot with a band of knights who hope to restore order to their fair and pleasant land and hopes to win freedom for his comrades, among them Lancelot (Ioan Gruffudd), Galahad (Hugh Dancy), Tristan (Mads Mikkelsen), Gawain (Joel Edgerton), Bors (Ray Winstone), and Dagonet (Ray Stevenson). In time, Arthur and his men join forces with Merlin (Stephen Dillane), a shaman whose band of renegade knights were often pitched in battle against Roman forces. Forming a united front as loyal Englishmen against the invading Saxon armies, Arthur, Merlin, and the brave and beautiful Guinevere (Keira Knightley) are determined to unite a sovereign Britain under one army and one king.

Best King Arthur movie ever

This is the best King Arthur movie ever made. The story is awesome. The acting in it is superb. It has a love story in it between Clive Owen and Keira Knightly that women will like. The battles scenes are spectacular. I have seen many movies with King Arhtur in them and this is the best buy far. From beginning to end you will be entertained. It has a great cast and plot everything about this movie is perfect!
Kevin Costner's 2003 Western Open Range comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1. Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by Costner. He talks about his theories as a director, his affection for the Western genre (a type of movie that, with this film, he proves he has absorbed), and many tales about the film's production. His commentary is as earnest and heartfelt as the film itself. A second DVD is full of information on the making of the film, allowing the viewer access to almost every aspect of the process. This is a strong disc from Disney/Buena Vista that will be of particular interest to any genre enthusiast.

This is one of the better western movies put out in the last ten years. Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner are excellent together in this movie. It is a little long though. The story is great. The shoot out scenes are really good. For the women out there it does have a love story it is not just a guy movie. It has alot of good dvd extras. This is my favorite western movie I have ever seen and this is a great price to buy it at.
What's great about it: the story Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner
