Nice multi tool

I am a bearded man and do manscape as well. I have had and tossed many of these small all in one trim and shave tools. My main concern which I am unable to talk about is its longevity. This is the biggest issue I have with these devices.
Starting off with my one dislike and it is the nose hair trimmer. Unless you like probing your nose then I would be sure and have a alternate trimmer or even scissors to trim up the Ol snoz. Its more like a detail trimmer than a nose trimmer. I have always had the style that is circular and encased and it just goes to town, this guy is long and skinny and just has blades on one side. Not comfortable at all and it nicked my mustache a bit. Tossed that tip right into the can.
First thing I like was how quickly it charged up, was dead as can be when it arrived. My favorite part was that with the beard trimmer guide comb attachment I was able to get right up to the spot above my lip and nose without having to go back later with a detail trimmer to get up real tight near the nose. This attachment worked great for that. I am not much of a user of electric shavers but I tried out that attachment as well and it did pretty well, there was a small row of trimmers just before and after the shaver head which did a nice job of trimming up before the shave. I don't have much to shave due to the beard but I prefer a straight blade. The body guide comb attachment worked well and not much to say about that. I did not use the head guide attachment attachment as I get my hair cut and don't ever see me using it so in the can it went as well. The trimmer attachment worked fine. I did not try out the waterproofing as I have never and will most likely never shave in the shower but I'm sure it great. If you're looking for a good multi shaving and trimming tool then I would definitely recommend this tool, just be sure to have or purchase a separate nose/ear trimmer.

Well it's a learning curve

I am assuming it has more to learn any more updates to come. Packaging is great and Home has a nice weight and feel to it. There are many things she doesnt yet grasp. My main issue is listening to Pandora, twice I was able to make it change stations but that's maybe out of 100 and I am unable to make a change in the app for which Pandora station I want. The Goole radio is decent if you like music that feels like your in a Starbucks. Setting it up with my Nest thermostat wasn't bad but be sure to name it if you have multiple thermostats otherwise it will change both of them to the temperature you say. You have to say which nest then the temperature. I wasn't able to get Home to turn just the Nest fan on though, she couldn't understand. Watched a little TV tonight (oh yeah she can't tell you when a show is on yet) and the Ok Google commercials had her chatting it up, funny at first but then it got annoying. I am hoping I can integrate Home into the rest of my house, I have whole home audio and my AV system controlled with my Harmony but I don't think it's capable just yet. The timer option is a cool feature as is the measurement converter while cooking. Speaker sounds okay at lower volumes but once it's at 3/4 or so it gets a bit distorted. Once its tied into my AV system that will all be resolved. Very fun device and I can't wait till its potential is opened up.

I am not much of a software techie, but I use photoshop and vegas software here and there for myself, family and friends. I know for a fact I don't dive deep enough into this software to use its full potential but for a average Joe it works great for me. Know mind you I have been using photoshop for eons so don't think you can just dive into it like microsoft paint. I would get it though, it has many great features and I am digging the new ones with this update.

BOSE Soundbar sounds pretty sweet...for a soundbar

First wanted to say that BOSE didn't have much instructions included with the packaging but for a basic setup it isn't needed. Also info online was limited due to this being a initial launch testing.
Wow, if you like or need a soundbar then I would have to go with this unit. I have never liked a sound bar before (yes even the Klipsch unit) hearing this BOSE Soundtouch system. But if you have limited space or are unable run wiring etc. then you must get this system to avoid any disappointing tinny systems from other manufactures. Not only is the soundbar sharp looking but it's also very solid. Feels nice and solid and will likely last forever. Its hefty and well built. Comes in very nice packaging and sets up in minutes. I set this system up with the Acoustimass 300 sub and was pleased with the results. I tried our large living room and a small game room with zero disappointments. Pair this system with the virtually invisible wireless Bose speakers for true surround sound and wire free. Perfect for the DIY'er and those renting or living in a apartment. I wasn't dissatisfied with music, movie or gaming audio. Setup was simple but I wish I had more control over the EQ and or bass and treble settings. Zero distortion no matter how loud I cranked it up. I can't see a reason not to purchase this Bose unit unless your are building a home theater, in that case you would never want to purchase a soundbar anyway. Like I said before though if your options are limited then this is the next best thing. Beats horrible TV speakers any day and puts its rivals to shame.

This unit paired with the Soundtouch sound bar hits it out of the park. I am not a soundbar fan at all but love this system. I set it up in our large living room and a small bedroom turned gameroom with equal results. I am really pleased by the quality, sound, and aesthetics of this unit. It's clean and tight bass sounds great from a compact package. I will be purchasing the rear speakers to get the full surround effect and have a better opinion of the complete package.
BOSE always has fantastic packaging and they didn't skimp out here either. Box was not in a box but is packaged so well nothing was damaged. Unit is simple to plug in and connect wirelessly to sound bar. I did not experience any lag.
I have spent a tad more on wired subs and received what I think was a better sub. This sub will not shake your house apart like others a tad higher but it is clean, non distorting, aesthetically pleasing, simple and easy to install and setup, and compliments the Soundtouch soundbar to a T. I don't think anyone could possibly be disappointed owning this sub, unless you are building a home theater I say go for it.

Great phone...for a android

First off I have been a IOS user for eons and this is my first higher end android device in some time. I love IOS! That being said I am really starting to dig this phone the more I use it, also it's FAST. It's much faster than my iPhone6 was and the camera beats my 7. Low light pics are superb. The screen is rough in direct sunlight but most are I guess. The screen is crystal sharp and rich in color with very sensitive touch controls. The OK google AI is nice and almost feels a tad more real than SIRI. I enjoy the night feature like the iPhone has. The fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone is genius and work perfectly every time, no issues or glitches yet like I get with my iPhones. The phone is very similar to Apples and has a great solidness and build to it. I was able to find cables and a case from Amazon before they were available elsewhere. 2 x 3' cables and 2 x clear cases for $15 shipped. Wow what a deal and great quality considering I have paid $60-80 for my iPhone cases and $30-40 for cables.
What I don't like about this phone besides it running Android is that it gets dang warm when charging and using the phone at the same time. That's about it really I guess minus some of the stuff I hate about android which really has nothing to do with how Google made this phone. So it wouldn't really be fair knock it for that. It comes in great packaging, extra cable and sync adapter for copying non Android phones, which was a simple process. If you are a Apple user switching to Android be sure to do your research before switching, Apple has made this a not so simple process.

Rand McNally made a tablet into a smart car!

First off I really can't stand Android so I will avoid any negative issues with that since this isn't really Rand McNally's fault other than they chose to run it in this tablet.
The tablet itself is solid feeling and has a nice rubber grip in the back to keep it from sliding around and for holding a good grip on it. I have owned iPads since inception and I am never happy with other tablets touch and sensors but this one has me saying, wow they got it. The sensitivity is great and no need to apply lots of pressure. I like the weight of it as well, a tad heavier than ipads but feels like it should take some abuse for a while.
My unit came with all necessary cables, screen protector, dash pad and the heavy duty bean bag dash pad. The packaging and box were solid and well thought out. I have not tested out the tire pressure monitoring system nor the backup camera since it didn't come with it and is an added accessory. I also haven't dabbled in the vehicle monitoring yet. I also did not install any games or apps, no reason for me as I wouldn't use those features. It can link to your phone and hotspot which is great. I enjoyed the pop up text and call features, SIRI links up great as well. The mapping was strange to me but I am very used to google maps for directions on my phone. I have a dash camera but tested out the dash cam option on this tablet and wasn't very impressed, it's very choppy and the tablet is quite heavy so it bounces around just enough to make the filming annoying, but the option is there and integrated into the unit. Mind you though my dash cam was close in price to this tablet and it's only a dash cam. I don't really dig the antenna but that's just me, you would think with the technology these days it could have been integrated into the unit.
I may order the back up camera and tire monitoring system to get this baby totally integrated and see if I enjoy it even more. Get this unit and make your non smart car a smarter car. I see big potential and need for these in every car.

BOSE did it again, but even better!

Wow! I have had many headphones, but these are now my go to set. Wireless, bluetooth, hands free calling, and noise cancellation in one compact and amazing package with incredible sound and clarity. Very similar in size as the Bose 25's but way better speakers more than anything. They are super comfortable and fit my big head and ears great. I could wear them all day. The quality is typical Bose and should last forever if taken care of properly. The battery doesn't seem to drop very fast at all. You can download an app as well and name the headphones, monitor battery levels, adjust volume, and pair or unpair devices. Not sure I will really use it though. Be ready to hear every instrument and gaming like never before. My only small gripe is the controls, they are right where the thumb hits when grabbing the right earcup which is nice for usage but when you grab them to slip them off for a second to talk with someone or hear something I have a tendency to hit a button. I have been just trying to remember to use my left hand to avoid any issues. These can be ran without battery as well using a 3.5mm cable but I have yet to try that. Also to those looking for earth shaking bass these are not for you. The bass is adequate and crisp but don't expect anything earth shattering. I have let quite a few friends and co-workers try them out and they are going to definitely pick up a pair, yes every one of them. They also make a great mute device for the spouse haha. Grab a pair, you will not be disappointed.

Acer is breaking the mold for such a low cost tablet. I know its not even meant to be close to an iPad so with that out of the way lets start the review. I am a big Apple user and have a hard time with the Android system. Not because I don't know how to use it, I just don't find it as user friendly or as fluid. Right off the start in the set up stages I notice how delayed the reaction is when I press something on the screen, that and how mush more pressure you must apply to get a reaction from the tablet. This seems to be the normal with Android, just not as responsive as Apple products. I am an average sized guy and I find it real east to hold (thumb to pinky) with one hand. Excellent grip on the back of the tablet as well. It feels a bit lighter than my iPad mini 4 which can help after hours of use. It handled any game I tossed at it but the lag from pressing a button to it reacting was frustrating. This wasn't an issue once the game was started. Don't get me wrong I think this is an excellent tablet compared to others at, below or slightly above its price range. You will be hard pressed to find a tablet of this caliber maybe even up to double of the price of this tablet. The screen color and clarity are top notch. The camera takes fantastic pictures and the battery life seems superb. I also loved the 128GB Micro SD card expansion slot. Card is not included but does give the option for storing pictures or adding drive space. Has some great "EZ" features to make waking the unit up and taking screen shots very easy. Also has a cool optimizer tool that when pressed removes unwanted files and closes apps to speed up the tablet, all with one press of the button right on the main screen. Great child controls for time and content. Superb feature to keep your child from being glued to a tablet or cellular device. Helps them to look out the window once and a while or go outside and play. If you aren't use to iOS then this is a fantastic tablet for you. Or for a child or coffee table tablet. This was the only reason I couldn't give it five stars. Mine will for sure become a coffee table tablet for a quick google search or for guest to use.

Purchased two of these for the deal of the day and couldn't be happier. These will be used for digital portraits once framed. I tested them out on my PC and they have excellent clarity. Very clean lines and nice glass. Couldn't be happier.

As you can see, I have to place the IR blaster in plain sight. It states you can place them behind cabinet doors, but it doesn't work. Also, you need to use both blasters. Often I have a problem beyond 6' with both blasters.
As for the mobile app, it's useless. I find it really difficult to believe people claiming to replace their remote with this. You can't even customize the buttons and you have to scroll through 3 or 4 screens to perform a simple command. As you can see in the picture, if I simply want to surf the satellite guide, I (1) select the device or activity, then it takes me to page 3, then (2) I have to scroll to page 4, (3) press Guide, (4) scroll back to page 3, (5) scroll back to page 2, (6) use the direction or page up/down buttons to surf. If I need information, I have to (7) scroll forward to page 3, then (8) scroll forward to page 4, (9) select Info, then if I need to go back to the guide I have to (10) scroll back to page 3, (11) scroll back to page 2, (12) press Return, (13) and surf some more. Let's see, at least 13 steps. BUT, there's no Exit button to get out of the guide, so I'm stuck there! Useless; too much work and it's missing some buttons.
As for the touch screen, you see need to look at it to know which button to press. Sure there's vibration after to press the button, but you can't feel for the button before you press it. Then you have to scroll a million pages up/down to find your desired command. With the old 880/890 you can scroll left and right to get to the desired screen which then holds 6 commands. It's more efficient, and you can feel for the buttons.

Setup is wrong

As Eric said your IR blasters need to be at devices they are controlling. The receiver takes the remote signals with RF and transfers the signal to the IR blasters to control each device. They do not need to be in the field of view. Try reading the directions or asking for help, your review is bad due to operator error not the device. Also you bought it knowing it was touch screen doh. I have all my components in a hall closet and everything works great! Just be sure to place your IR blasters near the components IR sensor. I just stuck mine to the inside of the door and they all reach the components.

Does vacuum only clean one room on a full charge?
No it has a great battery. I guess it would depend on how dirty your house is and the type of floors. For me, I am able to vacuum my entire 1800sq ft house which is all hardwoods, told bathrooms and area rugs here and there. It's awesome!
