Great Gaming Keyboard

Really hard to find something to complain about regarding this keyboard. Keyboard feels very substantial...hard to describe. Keys give a very solid response that makes gaming and/or typing a breeze.
Minus the wrist rest, this keyboard also has a small vertical footprint which might help if you have a smaller desk with not much keyboard room or a smaller keyboard tray.
While the ability to have either red, blue or purple backlight on the keys, we have yet to find a way to save that setting...which means it resets to the default color when you restart your computer. Not a big deal though.
This is the 2nd Saitek keyboard we've owned and both have been great to use.
What's great about it: Very solid feel, great tactile response from keys
What's not so great: Light color resets when computer is restarted
I would recommend this to a friend!

What is the differance between netbook and note book?
There are 3 general differences. First, netbooks normally don't come with an optical drive (like a CD or DVD/RW) while notebooks normally do. You will also be restricted in video power due to the fact it will be integrated into the motherboard in a netbook while notebooks can be equipped with a dedicated (and much more powerful) card. It is also very difficult to upgrade a netbook while most notebooks can easily have more ram or a new hard drive added.

NEED HELP PLEASE
I am looking to buy a laptop for my 12 year old son for christmas. I am on a budget but want to buy him a good computer but not have it cost 2 much. He is going to use it for school work and most likely games. Can anyone tell me what is a good laptop to get him and why? Thanks so much for the help

My 13 year old loves history games and needs a computer for gaming. What is a good laptop option that is not too expensive but can run most games?

Which is more important Memory or Hard Drive size
Depends on your priorities. Never get a machine with not enough RAM...hard drive size is purely for storage...but pay attention to the RPM speed...5400 is normal...but a 7200 RPM drive will load applications faster.

how much does a product key cost?
You can purchase a license key from Microsoft. OEM keys are normally slightly cheaper but must be purchased with hardware from vendors such as Newegg. Here's a link to Microsoft's page:

What's the diff. tween netbook / laptop for 12 yr. old girl
Most netbooks don't have an optical drive (such as a DVD drive). So, if you plan to install programs off of a disc, then you'll need to purchase an external drive.
Also of note, netbooks generally have very limited video power. Due to size, there are no dedicated video cards...so you're mostly limited to browsing, Facebook, etc. Not intended for anything other than the most casual web gaming.
