Lesli Linka Glatter's coming-of-age comedy Now and Then comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and is preferable to the standard full-frame image. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround. English subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include filmographies for the cast and crew, as well as the theatrical trailer. This is a solid release from New Line that will appeal to the film's fans.

I LOVE this movie!

This is a great coming-of-age film that is has a wonderful cast. It is about four girls and their promise to always be there when they needed each other. The story starts off at their adulthood when one of them is having a baby, they then recall their chilhood summer of 1970 when they transitioned and matured into young women. It is similar to the movie "Little Women". This movie also has a great soundtrack to it that is quite nostalgic. I definitely recommend this movie to all!

Three street-smart guys discover how little they know about parenting in this urban comedy, which gets a beefed-up DVD release. My Baby's Daddy has been given a letterboxed transfer to disc in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1 and has also been enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors. The audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1; the dialogue is in English, with optional subtitles in English and Spanish. Bonus materials include a short documentary on the making of the movie, a selection of bloopers and goofs, a large selection of deleted scenes and musical performances, and trailers for other Miramax Home Entertainment releases.

This is a movie about three guys who haven't gotten it all together and their struggles as each of them tackle the responsibility of becoming new fathers while trying to juggle their careers and relationships. It has a wonderful cast that makes up this hilarious movie. I recommend this movie to anyone who is in need of some good laughs!

Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The color scheme comes across very well with the bright colors really popping off the screen. An English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while French and Spanish soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Stereo Surround. Subtitles are accessible in all three of those languages as well. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by cast members Jennifer Coolidge, Jessica Cauffiel, and Alanna Ubach. They giggle a great deal and offer very little insight into the making of the film. The track has a very slumber party vibe. A making-of featurette, an interactive quiz, a photo gallery, trailers, and a music video from country superstar LeAnn Rimes rounds out this solid release from MGM.

Cute Comedy!

I think that this is a cutesy-silly-romantic-comedy. Reese Witherspoon does a great job at playing "Legally Blonde". Jennifer Coolidge is hilarious as Paulette. This movie will keep you entertained and is a must have for Reese Witherspoon fans.

Edward Zwick's Legends of the Fall gets the deluxe treatment from Columbia/TriStar on this release. The disc boasts a crisp and clean widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while French, Spanish, and Portuguese soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. Subtitles are available in all four of those languages, as well as Chinese, Korean, and Thai. The extensive supplemental materials include an audio commentary track recorded by director Zwick and star Brad Pitt, a second commentary track featuring the cinematographer John Toll and the production designer, a pair of featurettes, a trio of deleted scenes that can be viewed with or without commentary by the director, theatrical trailers, talent files, and production notes. This disc should thrill fans of the film, and should also hold the interest of anyone who likes well-produced DVDs.

Animator Don Bluth's All Dogs Go to Heaven comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. Spanish and French subtitles are accessible and the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include the original theatrical trailer. This is a pedestrian release from MGM/UA that will hold little interest for the average DVD consumer, but the inexpensive list price makes it a worthy title for anyone seeking family-friendly fare.

ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN was produced by DON BLUTH who was the animator and director for the Disney movie The Rescuers. THE SECRET OF NIMH IS GREAT!!!
on January 5, 2008

THE SECRET OF NIMH is produced by none other than DON BLUTH. It was created with a Disney-style type of animation. This movie is wonderfully animated and it has a heartwarming story of just how far a mother would go to save her son. This is a masterpiece and is worth every cent spent. Check out other films produced by DON BLUTH, if you love Disney, you'll love DON BLUTH!

ICE AGE is one of those movies that you just gotta have in your collection. It doesn't matter how old you are...this movie is guaranteed to make you laugh! (If you don't, you have no sense of humor whatsoever!) It features the voice talents of Ray Romano, Dennis Leary and John Leguizamo. And if you do decide to buy this, you must buy the second movie called ICE AGE The Meltdown. You won't regret it!

STUART LITTLE IS CHARMING!!!
on January 5, 2008
Posted by: LiveLaughLove
I think that this is a wonderful family movie!!! Stuart Little is a great book and an even better movie. I recommend getting the whole collection, although I was pretty disappointed to see that the last movie was animated, (they should have followed the same format of computer-animated characters and live actors). Even so, it might be a better value to just get the boxed set with all three movies. But, if you don't care about the third movie, at least get Stuart Little and Stuart Little 2, (you won't be disappointed!)

GREAT MOVIE FOR KIDS!!!

The Pebble and the Penguin is a wonderful movie for kids and kids at heart! It is filled with good songs and animation. The characters have a mix of colorful personalities. The plot of the movie is good and it has alot of action, adventure, and comedy. This will be a hit for any young child or kid at heart (I love it!!!). And it goes well with Happy Feet and March of the Penguins.
What's great about it: Entertaining!

ARISTOCATS IS A DARLING MOVIE!!!
on January 5, 2008
Posted by: LiveLaughLove
Did you know that this was the LAST animated feature to get the nod from Walt Disney himself?! That must tell you that this is one of the great masterpieces of a fine Disney Collection! Aristocats is a film where the animators and artists took their time and put quality animation to work. It has songs from the same songwriters that composed for the movie Mary Poppins. The characters are adorable and they are well-voiced. This is yet another Disney movie that must be in your collection! "Great for all ages!"
What's great about it: Great Disney Film!
