Good album

Ice Cube continues to be relevant whether its movies or music! This album reminds me of the energy from Cube's Death Certificate album back in the day. This and forthcoming projects from Cube are much needed in hip-hop right now.

I like this latest effort by Killer Mike. He showed versatility in subject matter which is a good thing. Mike is a great lyricist who doesn't get enough credit. The track and video for Pressure with Ice Cube is phenomenal!!! If you don't have this album get it today from Best Buy of course!!!

GOOD ALBUM

These guys are consistently good and always stay in their lane. They know what works for them and whatever they touch seems to be successful. They know their boundaries and always stays within them. This project is decent and worth a listen. The production is of good quality as well, it helps that they are both producers. Their fan base will appreciate this album

GREAT LISTEN

This guy has been on the underground for so long but everyone in hip-hop knows who he is. If you like Nas' new release 'Untitled' you will love this project. Immortal has been emceeing like this but he is far from commercial so you may have never heard of him. All you have to do is go to youtube.com and search for this guy. He is one of the best MC's when it comes to rapping about politics, religion, oppression, etc. This album is a MUST get if you want to be enlightened and tired of over-commercialism in hip-hop and music in general
What's great about it: VERY LYRICAL and THOUGHTFUL
What's not so great: NONE

NAS THE GREAT!

This album is a much needed one in hip-hop right now!! Nas is one of those artists who is not afraid to take chances with his craft. A lot of artists in hip-hop probably feel like Nas does but not willing to make an album or a record reflecting how they feel about black culture or politics. The production is not over-bearing which is great because you really get to get into Nas' lyrics. I love the fact that Nas selected the Last Poets and Dead Prez's stic.man to be a part of this classic album. Nas will have some people scratching their heads but will have more people researching and studying black culture and history. This album is a must get if you consider yourself a hip-hop fan!!
What's great about it: INTROSPECTIVE AND LYRICAL
What's not so great: NONE

THIS GUY IS AN AWESOME ARTIST WHO IS SLEPT ON MAJORLY! IF YOU LIKE BILAL, RAHEEM DEVAUGHN, KINDRED, JILL SCOTT OR BADU YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS DUDE! I WAS HAPPY WHEN KANYE WEST PLACED HIM ON THE 'FLASHING LIGHTS' RECORD, THAT WAS A GOOD LOOK AND A GREAT TRACK! I HAD TO GET THIS ALBUM BECAUSE IT HAS AN OLD SCHOOL R&B FEEL WITH A TOUCH OF HIP-HOP WHICH IS GREAT! THIS ALBUM IS A MUST GET IF YOU ENJOY QUALITY MUSIC!

Could have been better

This album is for the G-Unit fan without a doubt. The selection of beats are great but it seems that they just went through the motions on this project. It almost feels like the Unit is not inspired or something. I guess when you got money like Fif you can do whatever you want whenever you want. I wish Young Buck was still a part of the crew because he brings a different flavor that compliments everyone else in the group. Overall it shows a bit of hunger from Get Rich or Die Trying days but with less effort. Not the worst release because its a decent record to listen to but it could have been better.
What's great about it: hardcore beats
What's not so great: not enough of lloyd banks

Great project

Rihanna is one of the most well-rounded artists in music today. Not too many artists can do what she does. The track with Maroon 5 shows versatility and is a great record. She also is an awesome live performer as well! This DVD is a must have for those of you who like seeing artists who can sound like their recorded work!

Murray did his thing on this album! I love the way Koch takes chances and continues to put quality music out there! This album has a great sound and reminds you that hip-hop is still around. This is a must get if you consider yourself a hip-hop fan!
