The only extra is director Alexander Payne's commentary, which is terrific--insightful, articulate and personal. Listening to the commentary, it becomes clear that Payne didn't make a great film by accident, but through a combination of clear vision and methodical craft. Payne is remarkably frank in discussing his subtle devices, which makes for a great lecture for any aspiring filmmaker.

Presented with a widescreen anamorphic transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and 2.0 Stereo. Includes songs from the albums Blackwater Park, Deliverance, and Damnation. Special features include an hour-long documentary about the making-of the companion releases Deliverance and Damnation, including interviews with band members Mikael Åkerfeldt, Peter Lindgren, Martin Mendez, and Martin Lopez. The DVD was released during Opeth's 2004 North American tour.
