Nothing to impressive about it. Alot more options and customizing for players and teams but for crying out loud you even have to time the 'lay-ups'. And doing cross overs are just as difficult, and yes, the controls are a bit funky.
What's great about it: Nothing spectacular, the replays are cool
What's not so great: Its not spectacular....

Theres to much to say, its amazaing and completely addicting. It leaped over GTA and the old saints row. Every single kind of player will love this game... Only issue I had was the sounds the vehicles make, it can get annoying when the sounds relay.
What's great about it: So much fun...Addicting!
What's not so great: the audio on the vehicles lol

The ground shakes with rumbles from an explosion down the street. You hear disembodied shouts from your teammates. Bullets whiz by your helmet and explode on the wall behind you, sending chunks of concrete and rubble flying through the air. That got your attention. There's no time for zoning out in the red zone. Take on the enemy by yourself in single player, or team up with a friend for intense co-op missions. Featuring the all-new Battlelog system, you can easily find your friends, socialize and track your progress. When your skills are battle-tested, load up for a 24-player online multiplayer mode, where you'll strap on the boots of a frontline infantry soldier and pilot powerful battle machines like Engineering EOD bots, tanks, jets and more. I think this game is amazing! Its different and a change from Call of Duty and much more challenging. There's MUCH less camping first off, and the a more team oriented game. The graphics seem a level down then most other war games and the controls are a bit stiff (accidentally miss fire, or push the wrong button etc), but by far war game winner of 2011.
What's great about it: More realistic, More challenging
What's not so great: A bit stiff, perhaps work on the graphics and controls a bit

You always lived on the right side of the law. You paid your taxes, went to work or school each day and maybe you even walked little old ladies across the street. That was then. At some point it happens to everyone, and now it's happened to you — you're thirsty for mischief, you're bent on destruction and you're becoming Twisted. Dark city streets make up your new turf, and when you turn yourself loose to tear them up, there's no stopping you. You screech down the road in a fast-flying car built for destruction, weapons in hand, a mad glare in your eye. Morals? Conscience? Those seem laughable now — and reckless ransacking is just too much fun in this new Twisted world. The classic, devilishly demented shooter action of Twisted Metal is back exclusively for PlayStation 3, delivering clearer detail and madder action than ever before. An elite fleet of more than a dozen new and familiar fear-inducing vehicles and a huge selection of deadly weapons are at your disposal, letting you choose your favorite methods of devastation. Whether you embark on a solo rampage to dismantle enemies and win the Twisted Metal tournament or team up with twisted friends in split-screen or online modes, your inner dark side will be unleashed with psychotic powerups in every high-octane level. The thrill of evil is beckoning, but be warned — once you go bad, you never go back.

The game definitely stuck to its roots, and its felt great to get that old feeling back. Its fun and a good time waster. The beginning storyline is awesome and the arenas are most definitely an upgrade. Unfortunately the game just didnt give me the exciting feeling I had when I first played Twisted Metal. Overall still a good game to play but dont count it out as a game you would trade out for another hyped game.
What's great about it: Feels like the oldies of Twisted Metal
What's not so great: Not as exciting as TM 2, nothin new

Its a pretty open roam game, sometimes its hard figuring out what your looking for and it can be fustrating but it makes it challenging. Its creative and different from Heavy Rain, atleast in Noire make a choice and thats that, theres no going back and re-doing it. Its actually really cool. I play the game when I have alot of time on my hands, so its a really cool game but its really time consuming. Can be kind of boring at times.
What's great about it: Creative/Realistic
What's not so great: Time Consuming/Sort of Boring

Pretty Fun. Car graphics Insane.

This game is fun once you kind of get things going. It can get boring at times, its a play for an hour maybe two kind of game but the cars look sick. Got some pretty great cars to choose from and the graphics are freaking awesome. Whats really cool is driver seat view driving and you get pretty neat power ups. The best part is the ability to jump into any car on the road...really cool. The drifting, the burnouts, the car wrecks...Pretty insane. It would of been even more insane if customizing the cars had more options.
Overall the games good and recommend...but it is missing a few things that would make it better.
What's great about it: Cars, Graphics, Fun missions
What's not so great: Missings extra bits and pieces. Lacking specific Options

Pretty cool graphics for some parts but the rest of the game is just so....dull. Im sorry but I really can not say this game is worth buying cause its not. The fighting of zombies is unexciting, all do is swing like objects like a 4year old holding a Major league bat. And it gets confusing from mission to the next...you start one and then start another and have no idea where to go or what to do. I dont know....buyer beware, take a risk if you wish.
Not for older more experienced players. To low tech and easy for veteran gamers.
What's great about it: Somewhat of cool graphics
What's not so great: Umm..everything else

Better then 2011

The graphics improved, the style of catching, tackling, running...all of it is much better. But the game obviously still has issues, playing defense is still hard to control. Those impossble catches still happen, constant flags for holding, tons of fumbles, tons of dropped catches, tons of interceptions, hitsticks pretty much automatic, I mean you literally cant throw a ball deep without either a interception or some ridiculous catch. If you remember getting fustrated with some things before, well expect the same here. Its a game none the less and it will never be perfect but its still worth buying.
What's great about it: Graphics, tackling etc all cool
What's not so great: Same old perks and then some

Shocker. Zipper Fails D-

Wow, I am truely shocked. The game is just not exiting. The graphics arent awful but the game simply isnt any fun. The sounds effects dont give you that explosive feeling you look for, its designs is plain. Rather finding your way thru a game it pretty tells you how to do it, literally, theres no exploring at all like COD. Its a third person shooter and only becomes first when you zoom to shoot but the catch is you have to zoom in twice to get it. It seems like they try to jack CODs style and they failed cause its really cheap looking. Im not gonna get anymore detailed, the game is simply not good....I DONT EVEN FEEL LIKE IM PLAYING SOCOM ANYMORE...FEELS LIKE A LOW BUDGET GAME I BOUGHT FOR 20 bucks. ZIPPER HAS FAILED US...its a shocker.
What's great about it: Umm the graphics arent to bad...thats it
What's not so great: Storyline, not fun, cheap setup, everything

PS2 NBA Lives were 5x better then all of PS3 ones...you would think they would look to improve... all this team DNA and "does your team have chemistry" does not fool me one bit. Its awful...the graphics make me sick for 60 bucks, the commentating is the same...yea it might be cut and dry basketball which is fine but the game is boring. We want something that makes us want to play the game...its literally is boring. The controls suck, the dunking sucks, shots that should be dunks always seem to be lay-up... the square button is pretty much useless. O the freaking customizing is ridiculous, I feel like Im customizing on a low budget laptop...Graphics AWFUL, and the loading is SLOWER THEN AN OLD BLIND LADY WITH OUT HER WALKING STICK. Come on give me a break...last NBA LIVE ILL BY.
