Great set for the price

Second pair of Steel Series, and even better then the last set (Siberia Prism). This company usually offers a great collection of headsets for excellent prices...more like affordable. The Steel Series Engine software makes it easy to change the RGB color, pattern, and sound range.
PROS
PRICE: For what you get from this set, there's not much to complain about. At a mid range price for quality headsets, it matches, if not better, than its competitors.
FEATURES: this set eliminates side head rest extensions or rail extenders, and created non-extending swivel joints. They inserted a bungee band with a velcro attachments, that makes the set extremely comfortable and fits to any size head. The side pieces are as usual flimsy foam, however, still comfy, sits perfectly on your ear where it is not too far and not overly close. Multiple volume adjust settings for precision volume control. A fashionable-adjustable-retractable microphone with an illuminating mute light when activated.
SOUND: The sound quality is moderately, and has little to none residual static playback at it's highest volume. The volume itself is outstandingly loud and delivers ample noise, which has 2 points of volume control...a separate adjustable desktop game-volume to chat- volume knob, as well as a turn knob on the headset.
CONS
Though an excellent set for the price and features, the one thing that plagues Steel Serious is the overall structure material. Plastic! In order to make Steel affordable, it uses plastic, which as you know is subject to fast wear and tear, and accident prone cases if not handle carefully. Another point, is this is not a wireless set. Though the wire is removable when not in use or need to adjust the lengthy cable, and it fits securely into the set, but, again, not careful, there's potential to snap it.
Overall, structure quality maybe impeded by the material used, one should take caution with all equipment. Therefore, as long as the quality in sound, features, and even price supersedes it majority cons, then you have a winner. So, Artic 5's are a winner for mid-range shoppers

Boring, nothing special

Here's a game working on game 4. Yes first time playing it, however, I see why I never was intrigued to buy my for the start. The game has a somewhat pleasant campaign that requires some stealth as a one man army. But, the games generic controls, dull graphics and aiming system gives it a lack luster appearance. It's slow, very slow, gameplay and poor AI doesn't make it any better. Though the campaign does allow you to run the show on your own. The online play is everything but exciting. The maps are everything short of exciting, and the play is merely pitch-a-tent-start-a-fire-and-roast-some-marshmallows, as you, oh-so patiently pray, waiting for someone to stick their head out. Its a overly stiff flowing, slow moving, and unadventurous experience. It's blandly generic and offers no incentive to play more then 30 minutes of play before boredom sets in. Call it different, and involves patient skill, but it certainly misses the mark on inventiveness, when we see what's already out there. Those who read my reviews know I try to write with impartiality, and so it continues here. Best to try your luck else where, let alone, spend your money. Good luck.

Good story, poor execution

I'm a little late on the Mafia trilogy, and late tapping into this monster hype. However, I must say, I'm not to thrilled about it or upset I waited. Previous Mafia games have received similar if not much of the same reviews. But...this game just doesn't have. It's lack luster physics, weapons aiming, and mediocre graphics, which resemble something closer to PS3 doesn't quite do it. The story line is on point, with a solid dialogue, but at times is a bit drawn out. Almost as if they added longer dialogue just to give the appearance of a game that requires days on gameplay. However, the story is good, but the missions are one dimensional...in other words very direct, with very little degree of open world exploring, and little complexity. It's simple missions, that don't require much thought or high level experience. The controls aren't the greatest setup either, but it's certainly not the worse. The game has something to offer for the "story mood" savvy enthusiasts with a great story line. But, it deflates as you play further along with the terrible physics, simplistic missions, and mediocre graphics. Can't say exciting, is the word I would use but I'd certainly associated with time waster or sub-par adventure. Maybe I'm just not the Mafia-esque type players. I'd have to say pass on this sub-par experience, and dabble in risking your money on the next game on your list. Hope this helps..GAME ON!

Basic, not innovative, regressing

Well, another year another COD. But, again, they have failed to jump start the franchise in a new direction. The game play is very basic. They have basically encompassed the previous 3 CODs, with a touch of even older ones, into one and return that old school feeling. Unfortunately, it has the Ghost version feeling-- and we all know that disaster. The guns are nothing special, in fact, some are replicas of previous CODs with a slight redesign. The multiplayer maps are very basic as well, with tons of corner camps, not very large, and as of now, not a lot of maps. Zombies actually takes a different approach with a modern day look, but a funky map design--however, not very exciting. It's tough to say if there are any special power ups, the awesome gun box, or pack-a-punch upgrade. The campaign is pretty good as usual but with the basic and common gun play, you may find yourself kind of bored. Overall, this COD is a step back...waayy back. It's another typical frustrating-doesn't-make-sense-how-he-killed-me COD. This is something we've all become accustomed to expect from this game. I think COD may have seen it's glory days come and go, and now must accept their running out of ideas. Either that, or maybe the fan base is asking for too much and they are just executing wrong. Who knows. But, gamers will be gamers and they will take their chances with franchise. However, I'd pass, and admit I was wrong... Battlefield has certainly taken the crown this time around. You may find yourself enjoying their approach and effort far more.

Following the record-breaking launch of NBA 2K16, the NBA 2K franchise continues to stake its claim as the most authentic sports video game with NBA 2K17. As the franchise that “all sports video games should aspire to be” (GamesRadar), NBA 2K17 will take the game to new heights and continue to blur the lines between video game and reality.

I'm not entirely sold as the reviews 99% recommended and 4.8 stars suggest. NBA2K17 certainly has channeled prior failures and success into this one. Great job with upgrading graphics and customization options...superior! The fluidity of motion is smooth and realistic. Shooting is no longer automatic for dunks and layups...oh, nor is free throws for the most part. However, I'm not a fan of the pull down and release analog free throw bar. Much rather the button release. The crossover analog is funky...because crossover is push left on analog but jump shot is push right on the same stick. This can be irritating. If you go through MyCareer...I hope you have lots of patience. The game play is only minutes long, but the games role playing dialogue's are Looongggg, which you can't fast forward or skip and certainly will turn avid gamers away. And the loading time's are horrendously slow. The game is set to deliver the most realistic game play known to man, and it has done that. You want to get better ratings? Good. Well you need to hit the gym and practice in order to do so. There's much more involvement then just playing each game. You really can't beat the realism and smooth motions offered. Even online play is smooth. However, it still has major irritating downfalls that downgrade it's rating.

Battlefield has always attempted to give us something different. They have been playing catch up with COD for awhile. But it appears they have something to do it. It maybe a step back in time again, but it's realistic wartime game play and wonderful graphic enhancement makes this exciting. This time the tense war fighting and LARGE maps hit the mark. It's clear EA put great effort into bringing something exciting. Brilliance is finally starting shine a little for EA....finally. I know surprising. It's definitely not what we're are now accustomed to seeing in modern day gun play bUT that's what makes it awesome. It's still a lot of fun and offers tons of space to fight like actual war. However, the gun selections are a bit "off", the time it takes to rank up and the coin you need to buy upgrade in game, can deter some gamers. Nonetheless, you can't go wrong with this game. COD may find itself in the lead again with its new release on Nov. 4 but, Battlefield truly is a Battlefield and is worth every dollar spent to get it. Spoiler: Don't hold your breath over the weapon and perk unlocks you get with Premium Pass, not entirely enticing. Hope this helps! GAME ON!

If your over the age of 12 or don't have kids, this is a complete bust. Kids of today know little to nothing of these arcades and therefore only make it eye pleasing. Phony dramatics and minimal chuckles. For us 1980's or earlier who were excited to see there old gaming days incorporated into a movie...well prepare to be disappointed. As many others have pointed, Adam Sandler bomber yet again

A for Effort. C+ for Execution

I'll give the creators credit, they definitely attempted to revive this franchise. Bringing back the illegal underground street racing world is exactly what we wanted. The all out customization, the running from police and even the cool looking story line even though it's meaningless and boring, it really made an effort to get us back. But there is flaws...of course. It's story line seems utterly pointless, just no meaning to it and the physics of drifting and burn outs seem...well...don't appear right. What's pretty interesting is while playing story mood, you're also playing online as other people can join your game and challenge you to a race...and there's multiple options of racing. This game is like previous NFS, gain street cred and money to get the upgrades you want. However, the game within the first couple days seems like an absolute breeze to beat and it'll be that way nearly the whole game. So don't expect a challenging game but do expect another opportunity to get the old feel of customizing like you use too. The graphics are pretty impressive so you'll enjoy it. I'll recommend it but it's another game I wouldn't get before my first or even second choice...heck even third. 3 is being generous. It's a really cool game but overcoming the physics and the awful story line is basically half the battle, which is where they failed to execute correctly. In my opinion, that's a huge part you need to get right.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III is the ultimate 3-games-in-1 experience. In Campaign mode, you must navigate the hot spots of a new Cold War to find your missing brothers. Players can play the campaign cooperatively or solo and are now always connected to the intelligence grid and their fellow operatives during battle. Multiplayer features a new momentum-based chained movement system, allowing players to fluidly move through the environment with finesse, using controlled thrust jumps, slides, and mantling. Black Ops III multiplayer also introduces the new Specialist character system, which allows players to master 9 characters' battle-hardened weapons and abilities through a challenge-based unlock progression system. No Treyarch title would be complete without its signature Zombies offering. "Shadows of Evil" has its own distinct storyline right out of the box, set in the fictional 1940s Morg City, where four particularly troubled individuals — the femme fatale, the magician, the detective, and the boxer — star in this film-noir inspired horror story.

Interesting but regressing

The games takes a very different approach then all other COD's ever made. Eliminating EXO suits and the abilities to strafe, however they kept momentary boosting. And its quite interesting with the new guns and accessories. Heck they even added score streaks and other options that made fans very happy from previous COD's. Unfortunately the game takes a sort of "arcade" turn, well at least it looks that way. The sensitivity is very stiff and non-reflexive, the sound effects sound weak and dull and the launching of grenade distances are substantially shorter by a great deal. However, the addition to swimming underwater while being able to shoot and wall running, is a twist that makes things a little different and we like different; to an extent. The only downfall to that, is exactly what I said earlier...arcade style look. It's certainly not traditional COD and perhaps relative to AW style but altered in a different fashion. There's definitely some really cool looks about it and options but the in-game feel isn't the same. I'll give it this much, the camping seems to have been cut down by a lot based on the map designs. So overall, I think COD is taking a step back rather then forward, by simply taking AW style play and redesigning it with less combat feel and more arcade feel even though it brought back Nuketown and other fan favorite options. I'll recommend it, but I'm not saying pass up the game you want first or even second to get it.

The clear cut...the graphics are pretty darn good, but the physics of the game are down right awful. The driving dynamics stink, simply stiff, glitchy and phony looking. I'd say this is a step back from the previous Battlefield. Not to fond on the maps but then again the online game is different the usual so I guess they're do able. Overall I wouldn't recommend buying the game...the graphics don't make up the shoty physics and ABSOLUTELY disgraceful campaign play.

PS2 NBA Lives were 5x better then all of PS3 ones...you would think they would look to improve... all this team DNA and "does your team have chemistry" does not fool me one bit. Its awful...the graphics make me sick for 60 bucks, the commentating is the same...yea it might be cut and dry basketball which is fine but the game is boring. We want something that makes us want to play the game...its literally is boring. The controls suck, the dunking sucks, shots that should be dunks always seem to be lay-up... the square button is pretty much useless. O the freaking customizing is ridiculous, I feel like Im customizing on a low budget laptop...Graphics AWFUL, and the loading is SLOWER THEN AN OLD BLIND LADY WITH OUT HER WALKING STICK. Come on give me a break...last NBA LIVE ILL BY.
