Good MMO but too addicting

WoW is a good MMO with addicting gameplay. The game mechanics are easy and fun to use. However, it seems when Blizzard runs out of ideas their solution is to add another grind. The game gets boring after while. Grind levels, then gear, then pvp, then reputations, etc.
If you are an MMO fan, it is the best out there right now, but if you do not want to waste a significant portion of your life, leave this game on the shelf and pick up an FPS or strategy game.
What's great about it: fun gameplay
What's not so great: repetitive grind
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The absence of james cameroon is rather blatant. I feel he was right when he said the story was over after terminator 2. This is just hollywood milking a franchise for all its worth.
What's great about it: its terminator
What's not so great: no james cameroon

The NBC series' first season begins with the origin stories of several lonely, disconnected people who learn they're destined to become superheroes. At the center of the unfolding tale is Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia), a nurse haunted by cryptic dreams who believes he's meant to do great things with his life. Peter tries to convince his politico brother Nathan (Adrian Pasdar), who is running for the U.S. Senate, that something strange is happening to both of them, but Nathan is adamant about maintaining a low profile and keeping his personal life out of the press. Meanwhile, a Texas cheerleader (Hayden Panettiere) discovers she's completely indestructible, but she's in for an even bigger shock when she realizes her family is hiding a dark secret. Over in Los Angeles, a beat cop (Greg Grunberg) develops the ability to read minds, and an Internet stripper (Ali Larter) begins to manifest a murderous alternate personality. And in Tokyo, bored cubicle drone Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) is desperate for the kind of adventures found in comic books and Star Trek. (In a sly in-joke, Hiro's father shows up later in the season and is portrayed by Star Trek alum George Takei.) Hiro's wish is miraculously granted when he develops the ability to travel through time and space, teleporting himself instantly from a Tokyo subway to Times Square. But Hiro's elation quickly turns to fear when he witnesses a nuclear explosion lay waste to New York City. Upon teleporting home, he realizes he's just seen a glimpse of a catastrophe that will happen in a few weeks unless he can stop it. Heroes from across the globe gradually meet up and form alliances as they try to prevent the nuclear attack and fight back against a shadowy, superpowered serial killer known as Sylar (Zachary Quinto), who is able to murder the would-be superheroes and steal their abilities in the process.

Heroes is a good first season (a lot better than many on television nowadays). Its plot is rather unique, and many of the actors do an excellent job. However, about midway through the season it slowed down a lot and got rather dull. And its ending was a real letdown.
What's great about it: interesting storyline, decent acting
What's not so great: slows down a bit midway through

This set serves up every episode from the debut season of the Showtime series Dexter, which starred Michael C. Hall as a serial killer who attempts to stay out of jail by only hunting and killing other murderers.

This is a great first season. It is a bit unrealistic and not characteristic of your typical high school imo, but it is still worth a watch. And it is not just about football!
What's great about it: not just a football tv show
What's not so great: bit unrealistic

Good movie...but rent it rather than buy it. Special effects are a bit over the top in many instances. Ending is pretty satisfying. Worth a watch, not a buy.

The third outing of Fox's real-time drama series 24 once again follows the adventures of Kiefer Sutherland's rough-and-tumble Agent Jack Bauer of the U.S. government's Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU). Many familiar faces are along for the ride, including Jack's daughter, Kim (Elisha Cuthbert), fellow CTU agents Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) and Michelle Dessler-Almeida (Reiko Aylesworth), and President David Palmer (Dennis Haysbert), while a number of new characters have been introduced. Among the newcomers are Chase Edmunds (James Badge Dale), a young CTU agent who has been dating Kim without Jack's knowledge, and Wayne Palmer (D.B. Woodside), the president's brother and new Chief of Staff. The story this time around centers on a deadly biological weapon that a terrorist is threatening to release in Los Angeles. The mission to thwart the attack first takes Jack to Mexico where he'd been working undercover with a drug cartel and acquired an addiction to heroin. As the episodes continue, Jack attempts to trace the virus to the man behind the plot, and more than a few characters meet their demise. The fate of the Palmer administration hangs in the balance.
