Another great album!

Rush delivers another album of fantastic quality. The instrumentals are great like usual, but what really stands out in Snakes and Arrows are the lyrics. Poetry in rock form!

Outstanding Album

This is my favorite Muse album. The music is creative and inspiring and expresses the fullness of life in all of its excitement and love as well as pain and despair. Knights of Cydonia and Starlight are the most well-known songs from this album, but the rest are great too. Well worth the buy!

If you love sword and shield movies, this is one of the best. The battle scenes are great and the acting is top notch.

This is a great album to listen to when driving. Some of the best songs: Stab My Back, Move Along, Night Drive.

Alan Parker's thriller The Life of David Gale comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. English, Spanish, and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. Subtitles are accessible in Spanish and French, and the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include a commentary track in which Parker discusses his pride in the project, his appreciation for the actors' hard work, his respect for the screenwriter's vision, and relates a handful of anecdotes on problems that sprang up during production. Featurettes on the making of the film, as well as on the death penalty are pedestrian at best. Deleted scenes with optional director commentary round out this solid release of a box-office dud from Universal.

Kevin Spacey is a tremendous actor, and he delivers once more in this film. The movie keeps you guessing all the way through. Great buy!

Statham does another typical B movie performance. This movie anything special, but it's worth the watch if you have some free time. The plot is mildly engaging once you get past the English accents.

not very funny

I did not find this movie to be very funny. There was only one scene that I laughed at. 90 minutes for 2-3 minutes of laughs definitely isn't worth it. Furthermore, Will ferrell in short shorts is not a pretty sight.

Whether you enjoyed John Q or found it preachy, manipulative and overly sentimental, there is no denying that New Line has released another fine DVD. The image, which is framed at 1.85:1 and is anamorphic, is nearly perfect. Nearly because while colors are very vivid, they do look a little over-saturated at times, especially reds, which are prominent at certain points in the film. Otherwise, it's a remarkable transfer with wonderful detail. The sound, with both 5.1 English Dolby Digital and DTS tracks, is also quite strong. Granted, it does seem to be more centered up front, without any significant use of the surround speakers, but the overall effect is still evident. This disc is another in the "Infinifilm" line, and the extras showcase how good that series can be. Just to begin with is a commentary track with director Nick Cassavetes, producer Mark Burg, writer James Kearns, actress Kimberly Elise and cinematographer Roger Stoffers. In addition there is a 35-minute documentary, "Fighting for Care" which takes a look at the state of health care in the United States. Granted, this might be a one-time thing to watch, but is obviously relevant to the picture. Also included is a shorter piece on the making of the film, which is more PR than anything, but still has some interesting comments on the making of the film. Finally, along with the theatrical trailer and press kits for the cast and crew, are six deleted and extended scenes which run around 20 minutes. As with all in this series you can watch these extras alone or while watching the "Infinifilm" version where pop-ups alert you to this additional material while watching the movie. New Line has done it again, producing a fine disc throughout.

Denzel Washington does an excellent job as John Q, the underpaid factory worker father trying desperately to save the life of his son. The movie makes you question both society and yourself to truly consider how situations like the one in this movie should be handled. What would you do? What responsibility does the government have? What responsibility does the hospital have? I definitely suggest adding this movie to your collection.

not really necessary

I think this animated film was an unnecessary addition to the new batman storyline. It wasn't horrible and should be watched if you are really into batman but nothing was really added to the story. It is just batman taking on a few new baddies that would look stupid in live action.
