Pure Deicide fury
on May 14, 2008

I wasnt expecting much of this album, as the last one sucked, but it ended up blowing me away. its still not the old deicide, with the hoffman bros, but its awesome none the less. when u get it, listen to no 6 first, it may be my favorite deicide track yet, uber brutal! Hails 666
What's great about it: deicide
What's not so great: no hoffmans/blasphemy

Black/death/power metal all in one

This is a very different album. its very technical first and foremost. The singer has a definete black metal sound, but the music is more melodic death, almost power metal at times. either way, its very technical, decently brutal and extremely fast. These guys also put on an awesome live show, its very rare for a singer to play guitar solos while singing, but this guy can do it.

Actually quite good

Dont let the other fast and furious movies drag this sequel down. its actually a very good stand-alone movie. The first fast and furious was ok, unrealistic though (8-speed eclipse) and the second one just plain sucked. as far as tokyo drift goes, Ive never been to japan and i doubt thats really how it is, but as far as the driving in the movie goes, its quite impressive while being entirely realistic. Real life drift racers do a lot of the driving in it. I know Rhys Millin is in it and a couple other japanse guys i can never remember how to spell or prounounce their names. basically. its a good movie.

Deicide: When London Burns captures a typically hard-driving set from the Florida based death-metal recorded during an appearance in London. The setlist consists of over a dozen songs including "They Are the Children of the Underworld," "Once Upon the Cross," "Serpents of the Light," "Lunatic of God's Creation," and "Oblivious to Evil."

great dvd

This dvd has most of the deicide classics plus some new stuff. Great sound. Camera guys get a lot of angles so it wont get boring. My only complaint is the absence of the hoffman bros. As much as i like dave suzuki and jack owen, it doesnt quite feel like deicide without the hoffmans. heres to hoping the original deicide members stop acting like babies and get back together.

as brutal as ever

i think this is the best behemoth so far, demigod was pretty good but this was just a little better. overall the whole cd is just a bit more brutal, faster and technical. even negrals voice sounds a bit more agressive.

Best power metal release in quite a while

This is definetly one of the best iced earth albums so far. Tim "ripper"owens makes it a whole new band. the title track is one of the best power metal songs ive ever heard. i like how this one is a concept/story album, it continues from something wicked this way comes. even though all the songs fit in the story, they all definetly hold their own as bada$$ iced earth metal.
