The Hunt is on Again

If you have seen National Treasure 1 then this one is pretty much the same. I still really enjoyed it. It is a fun movie to watch when you just want to watch something and not really think about it. Ben Gates seems to know every single thing about history and so he understands the clues really quickly. I still recommend checking it out.
What's great about it: A fun movie to watch
What's not so great: Same as the first

Brace yourself for a new set of tricks, tracks and ways to race. The included Wii Wheel transforms your Wii Remote into a steering wheel that feels great in your hands, while the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller supply a classic control style for veterans of this racing series. Either way, you'll be able to perform impressive speed-boosting tricks, such as jumps, flips and wheelies. You can zip through brand-new tracks and arenas, and also tour classic courses from Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Kart: Double Dash and Mario Kart DS. There are even options for trying all-new motorbikes that have their own special tricks and techniques. The action gets fast, furious and funny when you race in Mario Kart Wii.

Well Worth the Wait

When I bought my Wii last year one game I know I would get was Mario Kart when it came out. I have not really played a whole lot of games for the Wii, I play alot more on my 360, but the wait for this game is well worth it. The bikes are awsome to use. Not really a fan of the other cars that are not standard cause they are not well balanced cars. I wish there were more unlockable content, you can only unlock more cups for race tracks. Online is pretty cool too. I like being able to play with friends. You have to call your friend and get there number and regester them and you have to give them your number to do the same. I wish Nintendo had something like Xbox Live but I do not want to complain cause I really enjoy this game online. Go buy it if you have a Wii
What's great about it: Online Play, Its Mario Kart
What's not so great: Not many unlockables

An Alright Game

This game is ok. I borrowed it cause I did not want to pay for a game that I could only play once. The story is fun and it is cool to play a different game then a shooter. I like the stealth assassinations. This game gets way to repetative. You have to do the same thing over and over in each level. I wanted to play it so that I could say I beat it as well as get the 360 achievements. Im finding that I do enjoy this game.
What's great about it: Story, Ways of killing people
What's not so great: Repetative

Stephen Sondheim's award-winning musical thriller comes to the big screen in this adaptation directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen, Timothy Spall, and Alan Rickman. Embittered at having been wrongly imprisoned and determined to seek vengeance against his accusers due to the grim fate that befell his wife and daughter while he was incarcerated, ex-convict Sweeney Todd (Depp) returns to his hometown and opens a modest barber shop. The one thing different about Todd's shop, however, is that no one who walks in for a trim is ever seen again. Subsequently branded "The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" by the frightened community, Todd continues with his murderous exploits with a little assistance from his amorous accomplice, Mrs. Lovett (Bonham Carter) -- whose popular meat pies secretly have a most unsavory ingredient.

This was a great movie. I really enjoyed it and was very excited to see it on film being directed by Tim Burton. He was the perfect director for this film and Johnny Depp did a great job too. Very excited to see it is coming out soon on DVD.

It is great to see a Zombie movie for a new generation. It had been a while since a George A. Romero Dead movie came out. This movie focuses on a City full of survivors. The main characters go out to collect supplies for the city. The underlying theme is the curruption of Government. Check it out and a must have for Dead fans
What's great about it: Another Dead Movie

Despite Anchor Bay's dwindling reputation following the Opera fiasco and some major color timing problems with their much-touted 25th Anniversary Edition of Halloween, fans awaiting a definitive version of George A. Romero's third entry into the living dead trilogy may be slightly irritated to learn that Anchor Bay apparently has still not worked out the bugs in their DVD mastering system - and though on the surface this disc appears to be flawless in terms of both video and audio presentation, much of the dialogue has unfortunately been replaced with an alternate dub that plays down much of the film's shocking profanity. Fortunately, Anchor Bay has seen fit to pack this disc with some truly irresistible extras. The film itself, presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen and processed using the relatively new Disimax procedure, is in pristine condition with colors well balanced and solid blacks well represented in the film's endless underground corridors. Likewise, the DTS ES and Dolby Digital EX soundtracks make impressive use of the film's audio with faraway moans and the sounds of dripping water underground literally placing the viewer in the claustrophobic underground compound in which the protagonists struggle to survive. The newly remastered image, combined with the amazing use of audio really bring new life to the film and is a major improvement over Anchor Bay's previous release of this title. As impressive as the presentation of the film itself, it's the extras that truly bring this disc to life. A commentary track featuring Romero, producer David Ball, special effects artists Tom Savini and Greg Nicotero, production designer Cletus Anderson, assistant director Chris Romero, and actors Lori Cardille, Joe Pilato and Howard Sherman may not be as technically insightful as one may hope, though it is nice to hear many key contributors reunited and reminiscing about the trying production. Likewise, a commentary track by writer/director and all around Day of the Dead fanatic Roger Avery is entertaining for a few juicy bits of background, but ultimately takes the back seat to the commentary of those who were there firsthand. A 39 minute featurette revisiting the original, far more epic first draft of the script, discussing the knee jerk hostility with which the film was originally greeted at the box office and revealing some remarkable secrets from make-up effects master Savini "The Many Days of Day of the Dead" is an indispensable companion piece to the film that any fan should see. An addition featurette entitled "Day of the Dead: Behind the Scenes" offers a more detailed look at the creative make-up effects courtesy of video footage shot on set, and a promotional video for the Wampum Mine facility in which the film was shot provides an insightful look into the stunning location used for shooting the film. An audio interview in which actor Richard Liberty (Dr. Logan) warmly recalls his days shooting with Romero will also please fans despite the sad footnote that Liberty would succumb to a heart attack mere months after the interview was recorded. Theatrical trailers and TV Spots offer an exciting glimpse into the advertising campaign, and seven still galleries provide insight into everything from some amazing promotional materials to standard continuity stills. A biography for director Romero as well as DVD-ROM access to the original script and production notes are sure to make for interesting reading, and a companion booklet offers a revisionist look at the film far removed from the initial hostility with which it was greeted upon original release.

For Hardcore Fans

On the bonus disc George Romero says something like this film is for the real hard core dead fans. This is not the best film in his dead series. The film follows a group of surviors in a military base. They keep zombies to do experiments on and one named Bud seems to learn. The idea of the Zombies learning is better expressed in Land of the Dead. Check it out if you have seen the others and buy if you are a hardcore fan. I own it but look at my Nick Name: MikeoftheDead

Just when there's no more room in you're DVD collection, Anchor Bay Entertainment will release yet another version of George A. Romero's zombie classic Dawn of the Dead. Filtering into stores just in time to cash in on the much-ballyhooed, big-budget remake, this release seems little more than a precursor to Anchor Bay's heavily touted three-disc Special Edition -- set for release in the fall of 2004. Mastered in the high-definition Divimax process and letterboxed at the correct theatrical exhibition aspect ratio of 1.85:1 (previous releases were often matted and released in 1.66:1), the image as presented on this release is the best that Dawn of the Dead has ever looked on home video. In addition to the corrected aspect ratio, the remarkably clean image sports solid, vibrant colors, even skin tones (for the living), and no evidence of edge-enhancement. As for audio, Anchor Bay has seen fit to include a multitude of choices that should please both purists and those looking to push the limits of their home theater systems. In addition to an effective mix in the original Mono, mixes in DTS, Dolby Digital 5.1, and Dolby Digital Surround expand the terror by surrounding viewers with the blood-chilling moans of the undead. Of course, the audio feature that most viewers will jump for is the commentary track, featuring director Romero, makeup effects artist Tom Savini, and assistant director Chris Romero -- and moderated by Perry Martin. It's great to hear Romero comment on the origins of the story and the events that set the sequel into motion, and the enthusiasm of Savini when Romero told him to start thinking of various inventive ways to kill people is palpable. With virtually no dead air, the commentary is both entertaining and informative. Outside of the commentary track, the extras are fairly standard -- a seeming warm-up for the massive Special Edition that lies ahead. A pair of theatrical trailers are in top condition, as are a trio of television spots -- and with no less than nine radio spots, fans will no doubt get the gist of the advertising campaign that ushered audiences into theaters. A poster and advertising gallery offers various posters, newspaper clippings, and black-and-white stills for the film, and a deeply informative biography explores Romero's motivations as a filmmaker while scrutinizing his macabre body of work. Rounding things out is a somewhat disappointing preview of the upcoming comic-book adaptation. Overall, you have a pretty tantalizing release that would be a great addition to the old DVD collection -- until that massive Special Edition blows this one out of the water, that is.

Best Zombie Movie of all Time

This is the best of the Dead Films. It follows a group of survivors that take refuge in a mall. If you look into it this movie is not just a horror film with zombies but says something about our society at that time. People were mindlessly coming to these new large malls well small town buisnesses suffered. This movie really got me into Zombies. From games like Zombies Ate my Neigbors, Resident Evil Series, and to Dead Rising which has the same mall setting but in no way is related to this movie. Check it out.

Tom Savini's remake of George A. Romero's highly influential horror classic gets a dignified presentation on DVD. Night of the Living Dead has been given two transfers for this edition, a letterboxed version in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1 (which is also enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors), and a pan-and-scan transfer at 1.33:1. The original English-language audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Surround, while a dubbed track in Portuguese appears in Dolby Digital Mono. Optional subtitles in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, and Thai are included. Among the bonus materials on this release are a commentary track from director Savini, a short documentary on the making of the movie, notes on the production, biographies of the cast and crew, and the original theatrical trailer.

Remake of a classic

This is a remake of George Romeros classic horror film Night of the Living Dead. This one was directed by Tom Salvini who was the make-up and special effects person for the original movie. He has alsow worked with George Romero with his other Dead movies and other various projects. The gore is higher in this version and there is a twist on the orginal Barbera character from the orginal.
What's great about it: More Gore
What's not so great: Not the same feel of the other Dead movies

I really enjoy this game. I would recommend it to young and old. My girlfriend made fun of me for picking it up cause it was Lego but it is really the only game that follows the movie story line. The achievements that the 360 give makes this game a hightly replayable game. If you are a star wars fan or just want to get something for a fun pick this game up.

I really love the Harry potter movie. I think the rest of the series deserves a 5 star rating but this movie only gets a 4. The book was two big for one movie. The story is to much about the Tri Wizard Cup and not the battle that is going on between good and evil. I say check it out after you saw the first 3 and dont judge the series on this one film.
What's great about it: Another Chapter in the story of Harry Potter
What's not so great: Worst of all movies so far

why does Xbox live cost so much and why doesn't Playstation live cost nothing

Xbox Live Silver packs are free. This gets you online and allows for updates on games. Xbox Live Gold packs are what cost money. You are granted access to alot of really great features. The most notable one is a friends list. You will have a list of the people that you like to play with and can see what they are playing or if they are on so you can get into the same games. You also have access to videos that are like little shows that help you with achievements, show upcoming games, etc. They also have downloads for game demos, previews and many other great features. Have seen both and the money is really worth it if you go online alot.

xbox live / xbox pro

Is the xbox live the same thing as the xbox pro?
Hi J's mom. Xbox Live and Pro are not the same thing. Xbox Live is the internet service that Xbox provides. There are two types of accounts for Xbox Live, Gold and Silver. Silver is free to anyone who wants to go online but it is very limited. Gold has to be paid for. You can get different plans depending on what you want to get and this gives you access to alot of features. The main one is a friends list where you can chat with friends online and play games with them. You can also access downloadable content for games and download older games (all do cost though).
Xbox Pro is just a counsel. There are a few different ones. The Xbox pro is the most popular and comes with everything that you would need to start playing right out of the box. There is a Xbox arcade but that does not come with a harddrive so it is hard to save games or even get online and use Xbox Live. There also is an elite that comes with a hard drive with more space and an HDMI hookup for TV's that support that.
Hopefully I answered your question.
