Norman Z. McLeod directs Bob Hope in the western comedy The Paleface, which comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.33:1. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Mono. Spanish and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include the theatrical trailer, production notes, a sing-along, and footage of Hope performing before an appreciative crowd of soldiers round out this solid release from Universal.
The movie stars Bob hope and Jane Russell as the pale face and calamity Jane. They have to meet up with a wagon train to findout who is giving guns to the Indians and along the way a tone of funny things happen to the paleface.
Great movie especially if you know the origins of the graphic novels used to pen this script. Don't pay attention to the length of the movie just enjoy it.

Doesn't the R rating say something that the ultimate edition is worse because of violence and if you watch the theatrical version a couple of times you can figure everything out that was cut from the PG-13 version.
