This is an entertaining movie series. The acting is good, and the visual effects are good for when it was made. The twist it takes at the end of the first movie and then in the third are good.
This is a good way for the show to end. The acting is good and it brings back past characters either on camera or buy bring them up in conversation. The shows ends on a happy note for all.
This was a good live broadcast and the dvd recording did not disappoint. The way the theme song was done was interesting going around the set and behind the scenes at the same time. The acting was good as well.
The fourth season of Downton Abbey finds the house mourning the tragic death of Matthew. Mary looks to the rest of the family to help raise her child, now fatherless, while meeting the unexpected challenges of several interested suitors. Elsewhere, Rose continues to dream of London, and Edith finds her relationship with Michael Gregson under threat.
this is a good season of the show the twist and turns keep on coming and for 2 characters what happens to 1 will not be resolved until season 6. Another is affected because of marriage..
This movie picks up where Catching Fire left off and continues the story to the half way point of book 3 or that was the film makers attempted to do so. Still a good movie.
The Julian Fellowes-created British period drama Downton Abbey originally premiered on Britain's ITV in late September 2010, and on PBS in the U.S. just over 3 months later. Set the titular Yorkshire country estate, it explores events in the lives of the Crawleys, a family in the late Edwardian era of the early 20th Century. Accordingly, members of the clan must contend with such global crises as the sinking of the Titanic and the eruption of World War I. Series Three of the program spans the time period of 1920-21 and originally ran in Britain in late 2012. All of the installments appear in this box set.
This release compiles every episode from the second season of the award-winning series Downton Abbey, a show that brings viewers inside a British estate during the first world war as the staff and the family deal with sex, love, betrayal, and blackmail.
Great movie especially if you know the origins of the graphic novels used to pen this script. Don't pay attention to the length of the movie just enjoy it.

theatrical better

Doesn't the R rating say something that the ultimate edition is worse because of violence and if you watch the theatrical version a couple of times you can figure everything out that was cut from the PG-13 version.
