Not the best sound...but a good idea...

I dont know what I was expecting from the JLAB True Wireless JBuds Frames,although I thought its a cool idea to have wireless speakers that attach to your glasses, thereby facilitating the ability to be aware of your surroundings rather than sealing out all ambient sound.
The mounting is secure but only on the right kind of frames, I found they were more secure on thinner metal frame arms and less secure on thicker plastic frames and would sometimes pop off the frames.
Charging is easy but its with proprietary magnetic charging ends rather than micro usb so if you lose the cable you cant charge your Jbuds Frames.
Pairing is easy and so is charging but thats where the good news ends.
Sound quality is sub par, no matter what EQ setting you choose inlcuding the "Bass Boost" setting. Volume, even at the highest setting is too low and its hard for the JLAB Frames to be heard over the ambient noise in anything but the quietest surroundings.
They work for phone calls as well, but the same issues mentioned above make them less than stellar.
I gave the JLAB Frames 3 stars as its a cool idea and if you go in with your eyes open I guess someone will find a use for them, me personally, not so much.

The key feature of any on camera Shotgun Mic is sound quality. With the Shure VP83 you cant go wrong.
Mounting on your camera is a breeze and most camera controls etc are easily accessible when using on your camera.
The AA battery installs on the bottom and whats great is, the LED power indicator turns red to give you a warning that its time to change out the battery.
The Shure VP83 is lightweight, durable and compact and it works great with my smaller DSLR, the mic gain is easily adjusted for best distortion free and realistic sound capture, the shock mount support and isolation system is top notch and the overall build quality is second to none.
Very impressed with the Shure VP83.

Clean Air / Great App / Must have

In the age of the Pandemic we are in, I made it a goal to have the best quality and filtered air in my house, the Filtrete Smart Air Purifier helps me to achieve this goal.
Setup is easy, connecting to Wifi and just getting the unit up and runing is a breeze (pun intended).
The companion App is super easy to use and configure. Having an intuitive app is key and this one delivers in spades.
This is a HEPA filter and monitors the air quality in the room you are using it in, I was thrilled at how depending upon what was going on, ie cooking etc, the quality would go down and then be corrected over time by the Filtrete Smart Air Purifier. The HEPA filter itself is easily replaced when needed.
At higher speeds its a bit noisy but not distractingly so.
Overall, if you are looking to improve the quality of the air you and your family breathes, i wouldnt hesitate to get the Filtrete Smart Air Purifier.

A new twist on an old staple...

After over a year into what we are all calling the “New Normal” we are all more conscious of being able to clean in the best way possible.
The RAYCOP - Omni Power UV+ Cordless Stick Allergen Vacuum is a key new tool in that arsenal.
Its easy to assemble and has a great wall mount to conveniently charge and store the unit.
Its not just a great cordless vacuum that will tackle any surface you need cleaning from wood, to stone to carpet and everything in between but it incorporates what to me is a game changer, the RayClean UV+ feature.
As we have all heard, UV light destroys viruses and bacteria making them unable to reproduce etc which is the most natural way to combat them with no environmentally harmful chemicals.
You can use the The RAYCOP - Omni Power UV+ as a stick vacuum upright or as a handled to get to stairs and those hard to reach places.
The battery charges rather quickly, lasts about 40 Min in the Nornal mode but with the three suction levels Normal / Power / Turbo if you find yourself using the Power or Turbo the battery run time is reduced but I found it lasts sufficiently long enough to tackle any task that I had to do and then some.
Yes its just a vacuum but with the new RayClean UV+ feature it might be time to upgrade, I know im glad I have it.

Quality you can see and feel...

The Bevel Beard trimmer is top notch and you can feel that from the minute you pick it up. Once taking out of the high quality packaging, I plugged the Bevel in to charge. The indicator glows to show charging etc.
The blade cutting depth adjustment is a cool wheel you use to adjust by just popping the cutting head off and turning a wheel. You can also easily clean the Bevel blade the same way.
The Bevel keeps a charge for up to 180 days and lasts about 4 hours of use.
The trimmer is precision and will keep your beard looking great, I found it great to keep my whiskers at the length I prefer with ease.
The only down side is I wish the Bevel was waterproof which would make it perfect.
If you don't need waterproof then this is the beard trimmer for you.

Ok, when I saw this product, I thought it had me written all over it…I happen to use shavers like this on a regular basis as I like to have my beard at .04 inches at all times…the perennial 5 o’clock shadow.
The construction is sturdy, easy to charge, it’s waterproof and it feels substantial in the hand. The Philips Norelco Ultimate Beard and Hair Trimmer comes with a charging cord, travel case and plastic comb clip to attach for longer beard lengths.
I wanted to like this more. I used this for many days before my final assessment but couldn’t get to where this will be my go to shaver. I think the reason is because I use it on the lowest setting, I don’t use the plastic comb attachment. With just the steel against my skin, it feels a little harsh and the trimming is not as easy as it should be. I even at one point made a minor nick on my lower lip with it. It works but not for my use.
If you have a longer beard this will be perfect for you but for those who want the shortest setting might want to look elsewhere.

Excellent WFH Everyday PC

If you are looking for a great everyday All in one PC then look no futher than the Dell Inspirion 24 5400. With its included wireless keyboard and mouse to the sleek design, you will be not only please with the aesthetics but the performance is pretty good too.
Is this the model for the hardcore gamer? Probably not, but if you, like many in the age of COVID, are working from home and need an everyday go to machine this is the machine for you.
Takes care of all the taske you would ask of this machine with ease with the included 8GB of RAM and the 256GB SSD drive.
I love that the Inspirion 24 5400 included a pop up camera to use during those Zoom or Microsoft Teams calls many of us have had to get used to.
Overall, I feel this is a high quality machine that is a great addition to your home or office in a compact footprint.

I truly love my Apple AirPods Pro, they are small, lightweight and sound great.
The only issue I have had with them is they have never felt 100% secure in my ears but I just dealt with it. When conducting the fit test on the iPhone it would be hit or miss on whether my AirPods Pro were fitting properly.
The ear tips are very easy to change on the AirPods Pro so I just took off the white silicone ones that Apple includes and put on the medium Comply Foam Tips.
MAN what a difference! I squeeze the comply foam to compress the foam prior to putting in my ear, then insert in my ear, within a few seconds the foam returns to its original shape and makes a perfect seal in your ear. The Comply Tips make the AirPods Pro feel secure in my ear and the true test with the on board Apple fit test shows secure every time. The Comply Foam Tips also make the earphones sound a bit better, at least to my ears.
Overall a great addition to already great in ears…I’d definitely recommend them!

Much needed peace of mind in todays times

With the Coronavirus surging everywhere nothing is more important than air quality and the ability to protect against viruses, and bacteria.
With the Blueair - HealthProtect 7470i you get a true Hepa Filter that will remove 99.97% of all environmental contaminants.
Its not too noisy and doesn’t use a lot of power (about 40% more energy efficient) compared to other models.
The included filter has an RFID Chip in it that monitors usage and notifies you of when to replace it.
The Blueair - HealthProtect 7470i has a companion app that can give you the ETA to when you will have clean air and even has features to set the Blueair to come on prior to you coming home and turning off when you leave.
If you want to use the Blueair - HealthProtect 7470i in a bedroom you can adjust the top display to dim or turn off, whatever you prefer so as to not have an intrusive light in your bedroom (big issue for me).
While the Blueair - HealthProtect 7470i is not tested for protection against COVID, I feel safer knowing that I have something that cleans the air, is very quiet, and not intrusive into my living space….I’d definitely recommend to keep you and your family safe.

Great noise cancelling and balanced sound

If you are looking for a great sounding noise cancelling set of true wireless earbuds look no further than the Skullcandy Indy ANC True Wireless Noise Cancelling in-Ear Earbud.
They paired very easily with my iPhone, and they have anywhere between 19-32 hours of use depending upon whether you use the ANC or not. The more you use the ANC the less battery life you will have, so that is a bit of a trade off.
As for the ANC itself, for my taste its great, it just shuts the world off and helps you just concentrate on what you are listening to. And they do have the “Ambient” mode that passes through the environments ambient sound.
They also work great for phone calls.
The sound quality is excellent and well balanced, not too much bass, not too much high or midrange, actually just enough of all and you can tweak the sound with the EQ.
Overall Im very pleased with the Skullcandy Indy ANC True Wireless Noise Cancelling in-Ear Earbud, my only complaint is I can only be connected to one device at a time, but that’s minor.
