mine won't do windows updates

It appears to be a great computer. Nicely packaged and good fast hardware. The backlit keyboard is pretty good too. Display is good. Good performance, though I haven't tried any games on it yet (I'm not really into benchmarks). I mainly got it for faster internet and personal use. That's where the problem is. When I tried to download updates for windows it downloads them and begins installing. It reaches 99% and that's it! It just stops. I have tried many times and let it run overnight most of the time and wake up to 99% every time. It just won't finish. No error codes or explanations, just 99% complete. I've tried several different methods but they all end the same way. NO updates installed.
I contacted hp support and all they said was contact Microsoft. I have been with them twice and they just did the same things I had already tried which still didn't work.
I have seen on the reviews that a few others have had similar problems. I haven't exhausted all possibilities yet but it shouldn't be this hard. I have several other laptops that update just fine. I don't know if I just got a bad one or if others may have similar problems. hp and Microsoft need to coordinate their stuff a little better IMO.
Bottom line, I have gone back to using my older laptops for now. I will try a few more things to get it to work but in the meantime it's a great paperweight. Great hardware but without updates it's useless to me.

This trimmer is pretty good. It comes with lots of combs and a few attachments. The stainless steel is nice. It seems to have good battery life but I have only used it for facial hair. I will probably try it on my head soon.

Great coffee maker with lots of features. Clock w/timer, 4 sizes, classic, rich, or over ice. Also removable reservoir, clean cycle, permanent filter (but you can substitute paper filters), and works with regular coffee (no cup style required). Reasonable price too.

I've owned many sets of headphones and earbuds, wired and wireless, over the years and these are my new favorites. Great sound but not "extra bass" which is fine if your player has a bass control or an equalizer like the ones I use. If you need extra bass get extra bass headphones. Nicely packaged, they also come with a cable for a wired connection for more versatility or if the battery dies (they have great battery life too). Comfortable and light, I wore them for a couple of hours straight with no discomfort.

I really wanted to like this speaker. It seems well built with lots of features. It's waterproof as well and pretty loud. Good battery life. It's a little too big (for me) to be wearable but fine for attaching to a bag. The problem for me is the not so great sound quality. It doesn't have much bass but I'm kind of picky about the sound. If you catch it on sale it might be worth it or if you're taking it to the pool or beach a lot. I care more about the sound.

Nice sound from a small speaker. It's not very loud but if you keep it near your head like on your shirt pocket it's loud enough. Good for runners or active people who don't want to use headphones all the time. The buttons on mine are a little tough to push at the same time but not too bad. Battery life not great but just ok. Don't expect a lot of bass from such a small speaker but better than my phone.

Nice Bluetooth speaker. Seems well built. Not too big or small. App works great. Good sound with equalizer tweaking in app. Also works with other music player apps. Great light show (don't stare at it too long, it's kind of hypnotic). Moisture proof though I didn't really test that (don't submerse in water though). Sturdy design and a little heavy but in a good way. Typical Sony great quality.

Nice cameras. They didn't want to work at first when I tried to set them up with my phone. After trying everything I could think of I finally set them up with my laptop and now they work fine (on my phone too). A lot of features at a reasonable price. Hopefully the batteries will last awhile.

Good sound, lots of bass

I've owned several Sony headphones over the years from wired buds to wireless on ear to wireless over ear and enjoyed them all. They always performed well at a reasonable price. These live up to my expectations with a few minor drawbacks. The neckband style is a little awkward for me but I will probably get used to it. Also the wires are a little long and can sometimes get in the way. Probably not good for running or using at the gym, get the sport headphones for that. Otherwise, good sound and lots of bass. Sony products I have owned have been high quality and reliable and these seem to be as well.

The game is really really fun to play 2 players against the computer once you unlock the characters by earning points. It does play a little bit clunky (for example sometimes a player will get hit up and be in the air for way too long). Overall a really fun game, if you love anime you'll probably love this.
