The Rock Band Hit Kit is filled with helpful accessories that enhance your drumming experience in Rock Band and Rock Band 2. This kit includes an adjustable drum pedal, sound-dampening drum pads and custom drumsticks. The adjustable drum pedal treats you to more comfort while you play. The sound-dampening drum pads reduce the noise from drumming on the original drum set. The custom drumsticks provide another option or replacement to the originals.

Nice combo for the price.

The drum sticks are a bit heavier then regular sticks, and they don't have that "drum stick" feel to them since being made of plastic. The sticks do have that "plastic" effect of rebound, so that kind of helps out some times. But I do find myself using a regular set of sticks.
The pads are nice, they do help silence your hits, as well as I found that they have reduced the "double hit" that some times happens with the regular RockBand 1 drum kit. The pad retainers tend to come off when playing on expert. EASY fix for this was I used a little bit of double sided tape and put that on the inside of the rings when I had to reinstall them. they have not come off or loose since.
The foot pedal really only has 2 settings, full up, and low. While in the low setting, it is easier to get those massive hits you need when your playing hard or expert. However unlike the regular RockBand kick pedal This one stays in place better. I just wish that there was at least a third setting, to bring the pedal up just a bit more.
What's great about it: Comes with a set of heavier plastic sticks as well as the pads and pedal.
What's not so great: The sticks don't have that "drumstick" feel.

Good remote, works well, auto shuts off.

I bought this at the same time my wife bought the PS3 for me. It works well, shuts itself off after a few minutes, but easily syncs back up to the PS3 when a button is pressed.
The only bad thing is that there is not a port on the PS3 to be able to use a IR universal remote.
What's great about it: Easy lay out, simple to use, easier then using the controller.
What's not so great: takes a bit to get used to.

Good game in the series.

I have read the previous reviews, and found that many of them are correct. Fallout 3 is very much basically "Oblivion with guns." But then again it is not. It does follow suit with the 2 previous versions. The graphics are VERY appealing, game play is very good. straight forward and good to go. Apparently the PS3 version is supposed to have glitches, but mine has not. I have over 20 hours of playing on it and have not had any lock ups or freezes or anything else that was reported. Perhaps it is because I have the nYko intercooler on my PS3. The map is quite big, and provides you with a lot more then just the "main story." Overall I find the game to be quite fun, grabbing, and entertaining.
I half heartedly expect Bethesda to release an add-on disk for this game to increase the playability, similar to what they did with Oblivion.
What's great about it: It's open ended similar to Oblivion
What's not so great: This is NOT a kids game.........

Good movie, GREAT details on the BD

for those of us old enough to actually remember the ORIGINAL Alvin and the Chipmunks this really brings you back. It's a fun movie, and quite entertaining.
The Blu-Ray version is so much more clear then the regular dvd version.
I also like how in the extra's they give a history of how the chipmunks came to be, and honors the man responsible for them.
What's great about it: GREAT details on the BD format
What's not so great: None

the action and adventure of this movie will bring you in. The Special Effects REALLY stand out on the Blu-Ray format then they do on the regular dvd format.
What's great about it: GREAT Details on the BD format
What's not so great: Milla as a overpowered zombie again.

While I never got the chance to see this movie in the theaters, I knew it would be one that my son would like. It's got good action, and great fantasy. The extra's are rather fun even for adults.
I have watched both the regular and the Blu-Ray versions, and highly recommend getting the Blu-Ray version.
What's great about it: GREAT Clarity
What's not so great: none

Blu-Ray is the way

I just got done watching all 3 movies back to back. I have a Samsung 550 series 37" 1080i/p LCD HD tv, and a PS3 for my blu-ray. The movies are good, if you like them, then the blu-ray REALLY brings the movies out. Several spots, such as when "Alice" enters the gas station and knocks over the coin jar (R. E. Extinction), You can actually read the dates on the coins. Versus the Regular DVD version, where the dates are "blurry."
R.E. Apocolypse, while it was not one of my favorites, the level of Detail that the Blu-Ray brings out is phenominal.
The extra's on the disks is equivelant to and in most cases better then what is on the regular dvd's. If your thinking to get any of the R.E. movies on Blu-Ray, then I highly recommend getting the whole trilogy box set, you get all 3 movies for a much cheaper price then if you bought them each alone.
What's great about it: Great set, all 3 movies for a VERY low price.
What's not so great: None

Chan and Tucker never cease to entertain
on February 1, 2008

the movie is fun and funny, these guys never cease to entertain. Lee and Carter together again. The fun never stops. Fists, knives, gun fights, and one liners slinging their way at you. If you like the Rush Hour movies, and you own a BD player (I own a Sony PlayStation 3 80gig,) and a compatible 1080p TV, then you will surely see the massive differences between regular dvd's and the BD format. Personally I was apprehensive to either the HD or the Blu-Ray formats, until there was more of a "standard."
If you already own a copy in the regular WS or FS format, and want to get the BD format, but not certain about it, borrow a BD copy from a friend, and watch the same movie side by side comparison, and you would agree, the BD movie is clearer, and more immersing.
All in all the Rush Hour franchise has taken Chan and Tucker on yet another fun filled adventure.
What's great about it: Owning both WS DVD, and the WS BD, so much difference on BD
What's not so great: Sad that we have to wait so long for a complete set of all 3 Rush hour movies on BD format.
I would recommend this to a friend!
