Cute show

A great show with a great, loveable cast. Over time you really get to know and like each of the main characters and the actors who play them couldn't be more well suited to the roles.

Infectious Fun

Light fun pop by The Corrs in an energetic live set. The standouts include Bono joining them on covers of Summer Wine and When the Stars go Blue

Solid debut effort

A solid effort. She definitely has talent and the songs "You Picked Me" and "Larger than Life" are standouts. "Almost Lover" is good as well.

This set has a lot

This set is a must for CBR fans. It's nice to see she sounds as good or better in concert than she does live. For the money I think personally it's a great deal. Her cover of Led Zeppelin's "Since I've Been Loving You" is my favorite.

Best foreign film of the decade

Better than Amelie. Although that's far from a unanimous consensus, it is how I felt after seeing this film. I loved it in a way I love few foreign language movies. It's a real epic, and a real story, full of side stories along the way and a very satisfying and believable resolution.
The beginning was a little iffy, I thought at first I'd made a mistake watching it, but get past the first 15 minutes and you will likely love it.

Good but uneven

Amy Lee's voice is great, a very talented vocalist but this music is bleak, bleaker than their last album. That's okay for most fans but if you are not a fan already you need to take that into consideration. Also the album is choppy, that's why not 5 stars. There are some tracks which are very well done but unfortunately there are about 4 or 5 where it seems like they are floundering and didn't really develop the song. Some have called this album a "sophomore slump". I wouldn't be that extreme, it's got too many well crafted songs for that.

Michael Mann's muscular adaptation of James Fenimore Cooper's classic novel The Last of the Mohicans comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS 5.1, and Dolby Digital Surround, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Although there are no supplemental materials to speak of, the transfer does an exquisite job of presenting this visually breathtaking film.

One of the best films of the 90s
on September 15, 2007

This movie has the best use of music of any modern movie that I've seen. It's really impressive from the start to the finish. The whole film, which is intelligently written and passionately acted, in the end comes off as a mood piece, and not just the heroic adventure you'd expect. Acting, music, cinematography, all combine to make you feel you are there.
If there's a downside, it's that I wish that the young couple in the film had their characters fleshed out more. They could have used more screentime.
This movie holds up well. I saw it for the first time in years again a few weeks ago and still loved it.

Great DVD set
on September 15, 2007

This isn't just the top comedy show of our era, but it's also a DVD set packed full of goodies. They really gave us fans a lot:
Tons of deleted scenes, in most cases over 10 minutes per episode and in most cases as good as what went on the air.
Also 8 commentaries. They vary in quality but Jenna Fischer and the writers such as BJ Novak and Jennifer Celotta give informative and entertaining takes on what they thought of scenes. It's a lot of fun.

Haunting and erratic
on September 15, 2007

This album is worth getting for "Better", "On the Radio", and "Fidelity", three great songs that mark Regina Spektor as a talent to watch. She has a touch of Bjork's soulful goofiness, mixed with her own style. I wasn't as impressed with the rest of the album, it felt less thought out, too erratic. "Samson" felt like it could have been a great song if it had been worked on a little longer. It's not a perfect album but it leaves me anticipating her next work. She's unique and impressive.

Dazzling new singer

I resisted the hype at first, it seemed like a trendy thing to like Corinne. But I bought the album and I am so glad I did. She's just breathtaking, a real new talent. It's real music, not over produced top 40 pop. Soulful and romantic.

Returned It
By SeriousAmateur from Florida
I returned this camera (and had to pay Best Buy a 15% restocking fee) without using it. My mistake: I bought it online, without checking it out in the store. I need to touch, feel, and examine the product. I am a senior citizen and found this camera too small for me to handle easily, even though I am rather petite with small hands. It is difficult to read the small text on the controls, even with glasses. The first instruction the manual gives is to attach to the camera the loop that goes around your wrist so you can't drop the camera. I couldn't even do that. At that point, I decided, "This is not the camera for me."

Considering you admit the problem was at your end and not a fault of the camera, it's unfair of you to mark it down with a one star review.
