This disc documents a concert from heavy metal legends Megadeth. The DVD offers a standard full-frame transfer. English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed captions on this release. Supplemental materials include backstage footage, interviews with the band, and film of the band working in the studio. The band performs two-dozen of their songs including "Wake Up Dead," "Symphony of Destruction," and "Sweating Bullets." Fans of the band and metal heads in general will appreciate this disc, but there is little here for the average DVD consumer.

Tighter than Ever

This concert jams! The band is in top form. With new Megadeath bandmates Jimmy DeGrasso and Al Pitrelli, the band seems tighter than it has ever been in the past. They hit on the fan favorites like "Symphony of Destruction", "Hanger 18" and "Peace Sells". Add this to the list of dvds you must see...

The first six episodes from the acclaimed British espionage drama MI-5 have been compiled into this special boxed-set release. The material on MI-5: Volume One has been transferred to disc in its original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo. The dialogue is in English, with no multiple language options included. Bonus materials appearing on this edition include alternate commentary tracks for all six episodes, extensive cast and crew interviews, a selection of deleted scenes, featurettes, text biographies of the cast and crew, an explanation of MI-5 terminology, and a short documentary on the production of the series.

This documentary charts the history of Kiss, ending with their hugely successful 1998 reunion tour. The disc offers a standard full-frame 1.33:1 image. English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed-captions on this release. Extra materials include supplemental videos. Citizens of the Kiss nation and soldiers in the Kiss army will want to give this disc a look, as might casual fans. There probably is not enough here to attract others.

What a treat for the KISS ARMY! This dvd was the true story of the reunion of one of the most influencial bands in Rock-N-Roll! In spite of no backing from throwback hippie magazines, this band has conquered all!! Nay sayers can say what they will. Every concert with KISS becomes a major event...Wanna see how it's done? Get this dvd! The religion is KISS and I believe!

While often lumped in with the bands of the '80s hair metal boom, Cinderella stood head and shoulders above their peers with the sharp guitar work of Jeff LaBarr, the strong vocals and multi-instrumental skills of Tom Keifer, and songs that added tasty blues accents to their hard rock attack. Cinderella: In Concert is a performance video which captures the band onstage during a 1991 performance; selections include "Gypsy Road," "Nobody's Fool," "Heartbreak Station," "Comin' Home," "Love's Got Me Doin' Time," and many more.

I saw these guys on their first tour w/BonJovi, way back when. I was curious to see if dvd could capture the caine that was being raised on stage the night I saw them. Well folks, indeed it has! Not missing a step, The Bad Boys from Boston clearly have the audience wanting more till the very end. Cinderella has proven to be a consistant band. Nothing is fake about these guys. They want to deliver the best and with this concert they do!Thanks guys! If you miss a brand of music that has a special groove, buy this. I did...

RED HOT!!!

Where were you when this one came out? This album made me go back and get their first one, "TOO FAST FOR LOVE". From the start, the Motleys have been about finding that inner most madness of us all and buying it a drink! If you are searching for the album that kicked Motley Crue into over drive then, this will be it. From the dark and smoldering start to the smokin' end, this album delivers triple! Caution though, this album will kick your butt!

The Tomorrow People was a British science fiction series aimed at teenagers that was broadcast on Nickelodeon in the '80s. This box set contains every episode from the first two seasons of the program. Each is presented in the original broadcast aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The English soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. Supplemental materials include commentary by cast members on the episode "The Slaves of Jedikiah," biographies of the cast, and a featurette about the show's creation.

Early Groundbreaking British Sci from the 70's

I first discovered this amazing series on cable television in the early eighties. At that time cable was VERY NEW! Nickelodeon had just started and The Tomorrow People were their science fiction show. This show never failed to deliver clean entertainment . Mind you it was never boring either! I'm so glad that after all this time it's finally out on dvd. I can share this series with my children and not have to worry about swear words or improper situations. This is a safe show! In today's climate, this show is an oddity.Get this before the word get's out!

Finally! Thanks Mick!

Finally, Mick Foley releases what I (rabid wrestling fan) consider to be the best hardcore dvd set , Right here in Best Buy.com (cheap pop). What can you say about a wrestler who sacrifices his well being everytime he steps in the squared circle? Reckless? Guy needs help? No, he knows what he's doing...Read any of his books? This guy is what KISS, The Beatles and Al Snow is to Rock and Roll. In this dvd set, he pulls us into his dark world and tries to explain the conceptions of famous matches that involved his alter egoes Cactus Jack, Mankind and Dude Love. Syblish ( that's a play on Syble of Sally Field fame) as it may seem, he did put booties in the seats with them everytime. Loved this set of matches! Again, Thanks Mick!

Judas Priest: Live Vengeance '82 captures the metal legends performing in America. The set list of over a dozen songs includes "Heading Out to the Highway," "The Ripper," "Diamonds and Rust," "Screaming for Vengeance," "You've Got Another Thing Comin'," and "Hell Bent for Leather."

The Metal Gods

The word to describe this dvd is, INTENSE! I had to go see this awesome band in concert to prove to myself that the band I saw on this dvd was real and not lipsynched or studio created. To be brutally honest, they were even better! This dvd takes place on their "Screaming For Vengence" tour. I love this dvd! This is quite a find. I originally bought this on VHS, which right now has probably liquified and evaporated from the extreme heat that K.K.Downing and Glenn Tipton generated from their guitars. For this price, this is a sweet heart of a deal, I paid $30.00 for it on VHS back in '84...

D'Addario Light XL Electric Guitar Strings D'Addar
By Reki34 from Chugiak,AK
Have to say from my stance these are thee best strings I have ever used. Many of issues with other strings (mostly the 9 ) breaking and these D'Addario's can take alot and not break. That and they last noticeably longer then other brands. Once my stock pile of Ernies runs out D'Addario will be thee only brand I run. Buy them, you will deff notice a difference!
Cheers
