Xavier Dolan isn't one of my favorite directors for a multitude of reasons and "Mommy" demonstrates what I admire and am annoyed by regarding this young Canadian director's filmography. Having said that, I find myself surprised by how uninvolved the home video release of this feels. A good anamorphic widescreen transfer aside, Lionsgate gives this a genuinely "barebones' release, which is a shame given the Canadian DVD (and Blu-Ray) release includes several features detailing the filming and a plethora of deleted scenes. In lieu of that, I'd still recommend this to fans of Dolan or anyone looking for something "different" in their DVD collections.

"RoboCop" is one of those legendary 80s movies that works on every level because of the heart put into every aspect. One aspect that continues to be a highpoint is Basil Poledouris's score, which earns the title "iconic" over the course of the film. Five years ago after Intrada Records issued a complete release that quickly went out of print and up in price, Milan, In conjunction with their recent LP release, has reissued the complete score for those of us who missed out on the previous releases over the last twenty-odd years. And does it sound incredible. Care is taken to present each track at their best audibly. High points of the score usually involve the main RoboCop theme or the quieter moments reflecting on the character's backstory. Whether you're an action movie junkie who holds this movie in the same league as the original "Terminator" or "Predator" or a film score aficionado looking to finally get this score in its complete form, this release of "RoboCop" on CD is an easy recommendation.
this is the worst story ever and so misleading and not scary you find out the main character actually has a boys part at the end.

Don't give the ending of the movie away in your review. Hate a movie all you want, don't be a spoilsport and give things away for people genuinely intrigued to watch it. I already knew the ending, but still.
