Acer 27" S271HL DBID LED HD Monitor: The thin design lets you place this large monitor almost anywhere — even hang it on the wall (wall mount sold separately). Great for playing video games, showing movies, viewing documents side by side, and enlarging photos during the editing process.

Acer S271HL Monitor

Shipped to home and arrived on time. De-boxing was easy and setup was easy. I found that using the DVI to DVI cord was the best way setting up the monitor. Being I have external speakers the HDMI cable was set aside. Color management also was better using the DVI cable along with my video card setting. Nice size and will work along side my Acer 24" monitor. Both are used for video editing. Being I'm not a gamer this was the best choice for me.

Fujifilm - HS35EXR 16.0-Megapixel Digital Camera

I traded down from a Canon 60D to this point and shot camera. I bought a high end video camera and found out I was using that more then the Canon DSLR. Plus I needed something that my wife could use with ease. This camera has a lot of features that a intry level DSLR does not have. The LCD screen turns off when you use the view finder or eye peace, AF, and manual controls. Over all the only difference between the 60D and this point and shot is the lens is not removable. Also having a 16.0 MP is a good trade off from the 24 MP on the 60D. Unless you are going to enlage a photo to a very large poster you don't need the high MP count. This camera will produce a great 8X10 or a little large print. I didn't buy from BB but I noticed that the price has droped and they now match the other web site. Overall a great point and shoot camera. Fujifilm has put a lot of extra's into this camera which makes it a great buy.
What's great about it: Almost a DSLR camera
What's not so great: So far none

Samsung 840 EVO 250Gb SSD

I received the SSD yesterday and installed the SSD and software. I cloned my other SSD to the EVO using a program I already had. I then installed Magic Box and set the SSD up. I ran two benchmark tests and they both came out at over 500 Mbs. Using AS SSD benchmark the final score was 1079. Compared to my Crucial 256Gb SSD the Samsung flies. The only downside is the price of a Samsung 500Gb SSD. Would I buy another? You bet.

I replaced my older MS web cam with this model. I just wanted to have a mid range cam for video calls to our family. Installed and was up and running in no time. Picture seemed clear and no complants from people on the other end. Skype saw the web cam right away and no troubles there.

Junk

Number of MP3 Players Owned:1-2
This is the second SanDisk I have returned. The first one ($40 one) had a broken female plug within the player. So I thought I would try the more costly one. Received the 3rd week of July and it stopped working on 08/03/2013. I was using it while I did some yard work, and it stopped working. I figured maybe the battery was dead. Using the supplyed USB cable I tried to recharge the battery. Nothing happened. No idea what the problem is but both Sandisk MP3 players are junk. Now looking at buying a Sony. I have a older model and it's still running great after serveral years. I just hope that other buyers had better luck then me.

Just what the doctor ordered

How Often Used:Daily
Just received the headset yesterday. I did a complete charge before I set the headset up. Very easy to setup. Once I turned on the TV and also the headset I had audio to both ears. The volume control is on the left ear pad and a little hard to use if you have large fingers like me. But once I found the sweet spot I figured I would leave the volume there. The on and off switch is on the other ear. Again a little hard to get at. The reason I bought this headset was because I am a little hard of hearing and I had the volume on the TV turned up to the point that my wife wanted to walk out of the room because it was to high for her. Now she can have the TV volume where she wants it and I can have the headset volume where I want it. When the wife is happy everyone one else is happy, right? The only thing I am not sure of is the distant the signal well allow. Right now I am 15-18 feet from the transmitter, with out any static.

Great improvement over the TV's sound
on January 3, 2013

Recevied this sound bar yesterday. 1st thing I noticed is the sub woofer is larger then I thought it would. No problem though. Second I tried using optical cables from my Sat. box and from my BR player to the sound bar. For some reason there is a lag between the audio and mouth movement both from the BR player and the TV. I then used the optical out from the TV to the sound bar. That corrected that problem. I then ran HDMI cables from the BR player to the sound bar then onto the TV. My son had a HDMI ARC cable and thats the one I used from the sound bar to the TV. A normal HDMI cable from the BR player to the sound bar. Bottom line is it's now in sync. The other item I noticed is if you like a lot of bass + the sub woofer on max you don't get the high output. My computer Logitech 2.1 sub woofer puts out more bass then the sound bars sub woofer. But thats OK with me.
What's great about it: Very good sound for a sound bar
What's not so great: Info panel is hard to see in the daylight.

I use it with:DSLR camera
I use this card in my Canon T3i. It has no problem keeping up with rapid shoot of my grandson who is in TDK. Price is OK, but as always we would like them cheaper. Holds ton's of pictures even in RAW. I also use it in my Panasonic 900 camcorder, althought this card is over kill for the CC. This card is made for DSLR's.
What's great about it: Keeps up with my T3i

Build or modify your own PC:Yes

Primary reason for building/modifying PC:Multimedia (music, movies, photos)
This is a upgrade from a earlier Hyper 212. I have a Intel i7 3770 installed with this cooler. I did take a step futher and added a second fan for push and pull air flow. The setup keeps the CPU at 26c to 32c. I am sure there might be better coolers out there but this one does the job for me.

small and light
on October 3, 2012

setting up the hub was easy. Plugged in the power supply and connected the USB 2.0 cable and it works. The plus side is the lenght of both the power cable and USB cable. If you have a large desk the extran lenght is needed. The only negitive is the size of the 4 port hub. It's small and light and the USB cable can move the hub around. So I took a small piece of valcro and placed that on my desk and the bottom of the hub. Works great. I have some programs stored on a USB 2.0 drive that I don't want on my computer for security reasons. So now I can backup the drive to another USB 2.0 drive using Casper 7 backup.
What's great about it: Plug and Play 4- ports powered hub
What's not so great: light weight

Shoot video in ultrahigh 4K resolution with the Sony 4K Expert Handycam. The advanced Exmor R sensor delivers outstanding image clarity and reduces artifacts and noise for a great-looking, consistent video. Use the 29 mm wide-angle lens for up to 12x optical zoom, which ensures your Sony 4K Expert Handycam captures all the action.

What is max size memory card support this camcorder?

I would think up to the max memory card which if I remember right is a 512Gb card. I use nothing buy 64Gb cards. If your shooting 4k I might jump to a 128Gb card.

Where can I find a uv lens cover and what size do I need? What glad should I purchase for my camcorder?? What about a remote? Why would they have a built in flash on the less expensive models What am I suppose to digit a sub shield

You can buy a 55mm UV lens from almost any camer store or on line. Like Amazon, B&H or BB if they have that size. A remote? If you have a smart phone you have a remote. Other wise I don't know if Sony makes a remote. Over the years of using a CC I have never used one. Your other question I don't under stand. What do you mean by "glad" or "sub shield"??

I want netflix streaming on my old tv, is it possible with a new Blu-ray?

I want to be able to acces netflix and watch it on my tv. I have the older style tv. I know I will need to purchase at least a blu-ray, but I don't want to buy a new tv. Will I be able to do this? Please help!
Some of the newer BR players are coming out with the ability to stream NetFlix. I believe Panasonic just came out with one. Or buy a Wii game console and have Wii send you a install disk. The Wii I have uses a RCA cable to connect to the TV. Either way you will need to be able to connect to the internet using a RJ45 cable or wireless. The cost should be close either with a BR player or Will console. One last item, you may need to buy a connector for the Wii console if you run a RJ45 calbe. Not sure, but check out Wii web sight.

i need to purchase an hd dvd player

i need an hd dvd player. I have bought my grandson all of the Harry Potter movies and I mistakenly bought them in HD DVD. I can"t return them and want to purchase the player. When inquiring on EBay what questions do I ask?
First I would look at what type of disks will play back on the player. I look for a player that will play back DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW. Just in case someone sends you a home made move ETC. Second I would look for a player that playes back regular DVDs in upconvert. Of course price has a lot to do with it. And if you are going to just watch HD Blue Ray disk then you don't need all the extra bells and whistles.
