Waring Pop Corn Maker
on January 24, 2017

First if you have large hands using this item might be a little harder then someone with smaller hands. First con, the top lid to the cooker is one solid lid. It's hard to lift the lid with one hand and then pour the oil. The same holds true when adding the corn. They should have made the top lid in two pieces like other corn makers. The second con, no bottom catch tray. You have to use the scope to take the pop corn out. It sure would have been nice to just pull a tray out once the corn was made. So far I am not happy the way the pop corn tastes. It might be the oil I use or the pop corn is old?? But I'm not happy with the unit and should have bought another brand that has the split cover.

Will it clean up to 400sqf?
on January 5, 2017

First the unit is a lot smaller then I thought it would be, claiming to clean air up to 500sqf. Second the high speed fan seems to be a lot slower then I thought it would run at. It's almost running at or between low and medium speed. Again getting back to the claim it works in rooms up to or near 500sqf. It's been running now for one week 24/7 in my basement. Is it working as they say? Only time will tell. I also priced the filter and it run's around $35 on the internet and BB. They also claim it will last up to 3 years?? But depending on the area it will be working in it might. My guess is 1 year. Still not a bad price for the fitler. I gave the unit 4 stars because I haven't had it long enough to rate it higher. I also gave it a recommend to a friend, but if used in a smaller room.

First thing you do is download the drivers from Epsons web sight. Install the firmware and drivers and follow the instruction's. Once that is done it asks you to print a test page. OK no problem. Well there is a catch tray that you have to pull out first before it would print. I finally figured that out and the printer is now working. Next is the WiFi set up. The touch screen is one of the worst I have ever used. You touch on letter or number and the curser jumps all over the place. So take your time. Also I inserted one wrong letter in the password and I couldn't figure out how to delete that letter. I just started all over again. I did try and install the printer this AM. But after many failures I just walked away. Came back a few hours later and uninstalled the firmware and drivers. Downloaded the firmware and drivers from the web page and this time it worked. I also set up WiFi again and it works.

I bought the CC on Ebay using BB's Ebay store. The CC was on sale because it was a open box item. Saved a $100 and it came with a full warranty. I wanted to upgrade from HD to 4K and I watched hours of YouTub video about the different CC's out there. Sony seemed to be the better bang for the buck. After only using it for a few days I love the CC. It does just what I needed done. The only down side to the CC was that Sony does not include a batter charger. To charge the CC you have to use a power brick to the CC. I then invested in a 3rd party charger and one extra battery. The CC also does not come with a lens hood like other CC's on the market. Again something extra to buy. That being said the CC is so good I still gave it 5 star's.

First things first. Go to Epson's home page and download the latest drivers and firmware, this is a must. Once done follow the on screen directions to setup the printer. I did mine using WiFi. You could buy a cable if needed. The reason I gave it four stars and not five was the lack of knowledge about going to Epson's web page to download the drivers and firmware. After printing 12 pictures I was a little worried about the remaining ink level. So far no problems. But I would guess you may be able to print about 20-25 5x7 prints. Just to be on the safe side order another ink cart. Which I did. If ordering from Edson, then give yourself time for they are slow and so is shipping.

PureGuardian - 1.5 Gal. Cool Mist Humidifier

This is a good humidifier and I would have given this a 5 star rating but for the lack of a carring handle on top or either side. Once you put in 1.5 gal. of water the tank becomes heavy. Carring the tank from your water source isn't a problem. But when you have to turn the tank over to install it on the base, then there is a problem at least for me. I am a senior citizen and I don't have the muscle tone like I use too... QC could have or should have thought about this problem. It's hard to take away 2 stars for a 5 star unit but I had to.

I have owned this smooker for over a year now and it works just OK. The first problem is trying to hold the smoking temp. The side vent is set to only close so far. The top vent also is set to only close so far. You have to control the temp by turning the temp control and then playing around until you are at your cooking temp. The bottom tray that holds the wood chips is hard to pull out so you can add more chips. It's very hot and I have to use a vice grip to lock onto the tray. The temp gauage on the smoker is OK but I didn't trust it. So I bought a WiFi temp gauge that lets me know the inside temp and also a meat probe. I feel that's a must. Would I buy another? At this time I would say no. I would look into a pettet smoker. But you are looking at spending around around $400+. The other down side is if you are smoking during the winter it's real hard to get the temp to were you want it. I live in MN were it can get real cold. Again it's a OK smoker for the price and I have smoked turkeys and ribs etc. Any they all have tasted good.

Ooma - Telo VoIP Home Phone Service

I dropped my land line over a year ago and went with just my cell phone. The only problem I had was the cell phone wouldn't work in the basement were my office is. I came across this service and thought I would try it. After setting it up and then doing a chat with CS the box was activated. So far clear sound and works great. But if the internet goes down then it back to my cell phone. Other thoughts: read the instructions and follow them. Then to activate you do that over the internet. That was it, up and running.

Canon Backpack

I received the pack yesterday and transfered all of my gear from a shoulder bag to this backpack. It holds all of my gear with more room if needed. I have a Nikon D7100 with a 18x140 lens attached. A 50mm and a 55x200 lens stored plus my battery pack, a hot shoe flash plus all of the cables and power cords. It looks like you could carry a mono-pod on one side and a tri-pod on the other. The only thing that doesn't come with the backpack is a rain coat for the bag. For the price this is a great buy. The only down side would be Canon knowing I have a Nikon inside.

Brother Laser Printer

My wife wanted my Brother laser printer for her office. I then needed a laser printer for my office and along came this printer on sale. This is not a wireless printer. Which I didn't want anyway. Along with the sale price and the fact that it prints in duplex is a winner all around. If it holds up like my other two brother printers I will be happy. Shop around for after market toners, this is a must and I have had good luck with them. Plus BB does come out with toner sales for this unit.

What is max size memory card support this camcorder?

I would think up to the max memory card which if I remember right is a 512Gb card. I use nothing buy 64Gb cards. If your shooting 4k I might jump to a 128Gb card.

Where can I find a uv lens cover and what size do I need? What glad should I purchase for my camcorder?? What about a remote? Why would they have a built in flash on the less expensive models What am I suppose to digit a sub shield

You can buy a 55mm UV lens from almost any camer store or on line. Like Amazon, B&H or BB if they have that size. A remote? If you have a smart phone you have a remote. Other wise I don't know if Sony makes a remote. Over the years of using a CC I have never used one. Your other question I don't under stand. What do you mean by "glad" or "sub shield"??

I want netflix streaming on my old tv, is it possible with a new Blu-ray?

I want to be able to acces netflix and watch it on my tv. I have the older style tv. I know I will need to purchase at least a blu-ray, but I don't want to buy a new tv. Will I be able to do this? Please help!
Some of the newer BR players are coming out with the ability to stream NetFlix. I believe Panasonic just came out with one. Or buy a Wii game console and have Wii send you a install disk. The Wii I have uses a RCA cable to connect to the TV. Either way you will need to be able to connect to the internet using a RJ45 cable or wireless. The cost should be close either with a BR player or Will console. One last item, you may need to buy a connector for the Wii console if you run a RJ45 calbe. Not sure, but check out Wii web sight.

i need to purchase an hd dvd player

i need an hd dvd player. I have bought my grandson all of the Harry Potter movies and I mistakenly bought them in HD DVD. I can"t return them and want to purchase the player. When inquiring on EBay what questions do I ask?
First I would look at what type of disks will play back on the player. I look for a player that will play back DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW. Just in case someone sends you a home made move ETC. Second I would look for a player that playes back regular DVDs in upconvert. Of course price has a lot to do with it. And if you are going to just watch HD Blue Ray disk then you don't need all the extra bells and whistles.
